Story
Adopted as a puppy by elderly individual, unable to handle him, walk him, play with him, unfortunately. Buddy needs a young, active, fur loving owner, who will take him hiking, on walks, swimming, etc. He has so much love, yet so much energy! He does need someone who knows about labs and pit bulls to better train him. He loves to snuggle, he has to be touching his owner, its how he shows love. He likes to lay in your lap like a small lap dog, even though he's 40 lbs! He loves belly rubs, and loves his ears being rubbed too! He does pretty good on car rides as long as he's in back seat. He is very very hyper and doesn't understand to not jump unfortunately, so I don't recommend being around small kids or smaller pets. Email me for more details!

Story
Frank is a 4 year old neutered male 100% European Great Dane that has been raised with children of all ages. He has good house manners but does not understand a crate or being closed in a room alone. Frank does well with medium sized and larger dogs with proper introduction. NO LIVESTOCK NO CATS. While gentle with his people, Frank is a natural protector, takes his role seriously & needs proper introduction to strangers entering his home. Large breed experienced owner recommended. Frank needs to gain confidence with leash work as he has always had a large yard to play in. He understands basic obedience & will ring a bell to go outside. Frank is looking for a new couch due to increased demands of full time care of a family member with dementia.

Story
I have come to last resort for my baby Bruno. He is almost 8 years old and we have been having issues with my oldest dog. They are both pits and are about a year and half apart in age. My oldest is very sweet but anxious and Bruno has attacked him multiple times though-out the past 8 years and it seems to be all over nothing. I can tell when he’s about to attack, when his hair stands up on his back and he kinda freezes up tail between legs. When this happens I have to break them up and keep them separated for days to weeks. He’s never been aggressive towards humans but has nipped at younger kids running around outside (thinking he’s playing with them). He is a VERY vocal and stubborn dog. But those are really his only flaws, he is such a cuddle bug, playful, and very sweet. I can’t keep having them locked up and separated it’s not fair for either. He should go to someone who will be very active with him and no other male dog. Someone give my sweet boy a better home❤️

Story
Location: Amelia, OH Food: Wholesome Adult. Whitefish meal and rice recipe Medication: NexGard Plus monthly Jolene is the sweetest, happiest girl. She is great with other dogs and ignores cats. She is doing good with potty training. She's good and quiet in her crate. She walks slow with her little legs but is good on a leash. Rides great in the car. We are working on "down". She wants to be a part of whatever her people are doing. She doesn't need a big yard to run in, so she does not need a fenced in yard. ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!

Story
Location: Huber Heights, OH Food: Hydrolyzed Protein Medication: NexGard Plus HELLO.... CHANEL HERE! IM 25 LBS OF LOVE AND WILD PUPPY LOVE. I CAN BE A BIT SHY FOR THE FIRST 30 SECONDS OUT THE GATE, BUT THEN WATCH OUT. ITS ON FOR PLAY TIME AFFECTION AND A LIFE OF LAUGHS AND LOVE. Chanel was a momma with stuck puppies who we brought in emergency she had a c-section and was septic. after a few days in the hospital, it was apparent she could not produce enough milk to feed her puppy, there was no milk. She also made it clear that she didnt care if she fed the baby, cuz look out world im CHANEL and its all about me. This sweet girl battled fleas on intake and skin issues, so hydrolysed protein it is for a hard reset, then she can be switched to a limited ingredient, grain free diet and should do just fine. she loves to play roughly with her foster brother, and love to chew bones. she walks a mile every day at the park and enjoys that as well. there is really nothing Chanel doesnt enjoy about her life at this point. she is just your typical happy sweet bully princess ready to take on the world, one sweet little adventure at a time. she is doing great with potty training but will occasionally have a pee pee in her crate at night, walks great on leash and always finishes all her food. if you think she is cute wait until you see her in person. she attends all events on the weekends. fill out an app and find your new bestie to share your turkey with.

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Addiction Wild Kangaroo and Apple Medication: NexGard Plus Maple is a very sweet little girl who at almost 4 is really just starting to discover the world for the first time. She can be a bit shy with people when they try to pet her or put a leash on her. We have been trying to give treats when we reach to pet or put a leash on and she is slowly coming around. Maple is very food motivated and will approach you if you are eating and stare at you with her giant puppy dog eyes, she might even try to get on your lap if you are sitting on the couch. Despite being a bit head shy of pets, if you do pick her up and sit with her she will accept cuddles. I can see here eventually being a very cuddly girl once she fully adapts to her family. While Maple hasn't played with her foster brother, she has tried to play briefly with a few of the other dogs in the rescue at events. Also it seems she's more receptive to getting pets at the events and also seems to approach kids a lot. She also hasn't really played much with toys, but is intrigued by them, especially if they squeak. Her favorite things seem to be chewing on yak cheese and basking in the sun outside. So far she isn't really a fan of walks if you try to leave to go around the block, but she does walk well on a leash when we go to events or out to potty. She will definitely need to be on leash for potty breaks for awhile until she gets acclimated since she is rather skittish, and while I don't know that she'd run away, she surely wouldn't be easy to catch even in a fenced yard. Maple does great on car rides and will be a great co-pilot, she sits and rides quitely. The more she can get out and about the better it will be to improve her confidence, it would also probably be beneficial for her to have at least one confident dog sibling to help continue showing her the ropes of how to dog. If you have the time and patience to continue working through her fears and house training, you will end up with the sweetest most loyal cuddly Frenchie you have ever known. She is so beautiful, and so sweet, she deserves a forever home that will show her how a dog should be treated. In her short time she has already opened up so much, and she has rewarded us with nothing but love!
