Darrell may not be the most handsome dog around, but what he lacks in appearances, he more than makes up for with emotional intelligence. Darrell is one of the best cuddle buddies you could ever ask for, and is very in-sync with "his people". Because of his eagerness to please, he's easy to train and LOVES learning new tricks. Darrell has been working extra hard with our behavior team lately, and especially enjoys his fieldtrips to nearby parks where he can practice his basic obedience skills in public. Darrell has been with SICSA for over a year and has won the hearts of staff and volunteers, but we know it's about time for this boy to find a home of his own! SICSA will be with you every step of the way to support our goldfish-faced goober's adjustment to a new home -- all you have to do is reach out to learn more! When Timber first came to SICSA back in January of 2022, he was a rude and rowdy young lad with no training and zero socialization with other animals. Fast-forward to a year and a half later, and you would hardly recognize him as the same dog! Timber has been working his tail off (pun intended) with our behavior team; he now knows some basic commands and has started making friends with other dogs! Timber loves puzzle toys, scent work, and exploring the great outdoors with his human and canine friends.
