ARNIE IS IN CT Arnie is a sweet, cuddly boy who is about 48lbs and 11 months old. He is looking for a family that is active as he is a higher energy boy, but also a family to snuggle with at night. He loves to play ball and other toy related activities outside, go on walks and had enjoyed doggy daycare when he was a southern pup. He is a good car rider and over all good boy! Given his higher puppy energy, we think he is better suited to a family with older children His foster family says he is through the puppy stages but still enough of a puppy that he can do goofy puppy things that makes them laugh. He is very food motivated and smart, so would take to any training a family does very quickly. Arnie is good at entertaining himself with a ball by playing soccer or bouncing it around on his own, very cute! At night he sleeps in a dog bed in the bedroom. . Arnie is crate trained, house broken, neutered and microchipped. He is up to date on all vetting. Fancy's mom says that this fun girl is so smart and eager to please. She loves to be by her side and snuggle at night on the sofa, but will also happily be part of the foster dog pig-pile! Fancy picks up new things very quickly and is up for any adventure. Fancy is house and crate trained. She is microchipped, spayed and up to date on all vetting. Story

Sweet, funny, happy Teddy, how he sat in a shelter for almost a year and a half we will never understand! Luckily a wonderful foster family took him in and he is ready for his forever family. This boy is all about fun and snuggles! You can just see in his eyes how he loves to be a part of what is going on and tries to engage his people. He will throw his toys to you and then step back, all but holding his breath for you to throw it back to him. After romping with his foster siblings and people outside, he loves to snuggle inside with the family. Teddy is a fan of car rides, head out the window of course, walks and being a part of the action. During the day when his family is at work he is loose in the house and at night he likes to sleep in his bed next to his foster mom. Teddy is about 6 years old, 53 lbs and house broken. Story

Rosie is our sweet, anxious rescue TWC, from a shelter in Maine, 1.5 years old when we adopted in 2017. She's 10 years old but her breed's life expectancy is 16. In good health, very active still. She was picked up by animal control in the woods but had lived in a home of some sort. May have been trauma before adoption. She's been trained on recall (best using an e-collar with occasional refreshers) as she's had multiple stays with an experienced trainer. Food aggression- we have to keep all food out of reach, she will try to steal anything left out and may guard it and bite. She is also territorial with new people so we have to introduce them carefully, with a short list of people who can come in unannounced/unmanaged. We have a 2-year old, we have to manage them carefully, she has snapped at him and we are worried she will bite him, the main reason for rehoming. Her food aggression has gotten worse, now she often guards her own food after feeding. Needs experienced owner.
