ARNIE IS IN CT Arnie is a sweet, cuddly boy who is about 48lbs and 11 months old. He is looking for a family that is active as he is a higher energy boy, but also a family to snuggle with at night. He loves to play ball and other toy related activities outside, go on walks and had enjoyed doggy daycare when he was a southern pup. He is a good car rider and over all good boy! Given his higher puppy energy, we think he is better suited to a family with older children His foster family says he is through the puppy stages but still enough of a puppy that he can do goofy puppy things that makes them laugh. He is very food motivated and smart, so would take to any training a family does very quickly. Arnie is good at entertaining himself with a ball by playing soccer or bouncing it around on his own, very cute! At night he sleeps in a dog bed in the bedroom. . Arnie is crate trained, house broken, neutered and microchipped. He is up to date on all vetting. This perfect size 32 lb 1-1/2 year old girl is a great cuddler of people and other dogs, loves her walks and belly rubs and will happily be the co-pilot on all your errands! Fancy's mom says that this fun girl is so smart and eager to please. She loves to be by her side and snuggle at night on the sofa, but will also happily be part of the foster dog pig-pile! Fancy picks up new things very quickly and is up for any adventure. Fancy is house and crate trained. She is microchipped, spayed and up to date on all vetting. Zeyda is a great loving pit. She needs someone that can always be there for her. She loves sun bathing loves blankets. She’s very hopped active. Jumps on you when u get home. She is not leash trained but know how to sit and wait for her food and to go outside. She’s very smart and really only listen when she wants to. She gets along with other dogs good. She’s just doesn’t like to share her food with them. Toward people she’s great. Never bite anyone. Does bark but doesn’t approach. Urgently looking for new home:)

Sweet, funny, happy Teddy, how he sat in a shelter for almost a year and a half we will never understand! Luckily a wonderful foster family took him in and he is ready for his forever family. This boy is all about fun and snuggles! You can just see in his eyes how he loves to be a part of what is going on and tries to engage his people. He will throw his toys to you and then step back, all but holding his breath for you to throw it back to him. After romping with his foster siblings and people outside, he loves to snuggle inside with the family. Teddy is a fan of car rides, head out the window of course, walks and being a part of the action. During the day when his family is at work he is loose in the house and at night he likes to sleep in his bed next to his foster mom. Teddy is about 6 years old, 53 lbs and house broken. adoption donation : $599 weight 38lbs Age 6 months Charlie is a sweet and friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She was found abandoned at a truckstop in a rural part of Mississippi and luckily rescued by Wags. At the rescue, she is having a blast running and playing with all the dogs, she just loves other pups! In the house, she is mellow and chill and loves to follow her Foster Mom around. Charlie has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to travel to the northeast as soon as the weekend of August 9th. Charlie is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home. She has beautiful and appeared to be a Catahola Leopard dog, very common in Mississippi and known to be very smart and loving dogs. Charlie is just the best, she will make a wonderful member of the family. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs Age 8 months dob. 1/10/25 Jade is an adorable mixed breed pup who seems to be some kind of black mouth cur mix. . She is a gentle and sweet and loving girl who is just a delight. Jade and her sisters Josie and Journey were part of a group of puppies that were sadly being given away for free at a local Walmart in Mississippi. The woman who runs the rescue Wags of Monroe County couldn’t bear to see these puppies going to people with no vetting and so she scooped up the remaining three girls. Since then, the puppies have thrived, they love to run and play with all the dogs at the rescue and then cuddle up together in a puppy pile to nap. They have all been spayed and have their vaccinations and are all healthy happy girls. Jaden and her sisters are still in Mississippi, but ready to come up to the northeast in mid October on the transport truck that leaves every Friday from Tupelo. We know these girls will all make wonderful family dogs, but are fine to consider a foster to adopt. Jade is such a gentle, calm girl, we know she will be a loving member of the family. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs.
