Story

Woody is a 10-month-old miniature poodle. We got him in March of this year, and while we absolutely love him, we’ve realized that we’re not able to dedicate the time and attention he truly needs.He is a very playful, loving, and affectionate pup with a lot of energy. He does wonderfully with our two toddlers and has been great with our family, but we feel he would thrive best in a home without young children where someone can give him more one-on-one attention and time. He definitely likes being the center of attention, lol! Woody is potty trained, although he can have an occasional accident if he isn’t taken outside on time. He is overall a wonderful pup who just needs someone who has the time and patience to continue working with him, give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention, and help him continue to grow.This is a difficult decision because we truly love him, but we want to do what is best for Woody and find him a home where he can get the time and attention he deserves

Boba was found behind a dumpster in Texas and we relocated to Rhode Island. Unfortunately, with a toddler and working two jobs, we are unable to provide the best care and attention to her.Please know, she would be best being the only pet in the house with a trained owner. She is a chihuahua, so she is a little feisty and territorial.

Coco is around 4/5 years old and we took her in when a friend called and said they found a malnourished dog who needed help. We nourished her back to life and quickly realized coco was great with our other dog and children but she barks everytime the kids are playing or the door opens and appears very anxious. Coco would do best in a home with space and not a lot of traffic or chaos. We noticed when no kids are home and the house is peaceful she is much more relaxed. Coco loves to play. She has had puppies and is not fixed. I do not have a quiet house with 4 children or the room for her to live her best life and would love to see coco go to a home who has more time and resources to dedicate to her. I can’t care for Simba anymore since I had a health problem that requires a more quiet home.Simba is:• Very energetic and loves to play outside• Known for his love of barking • A fan of healthy treats like bananas and carrots• Looking for a home that will love and care for himSimba unfortunately has a problem biting. He is very territorial and doesn't like having people around him when he is resting no matter where around the house. Homer is a 5 year old rescue from Missouri that we rescued at 6 months old before we had children. With each additional child (3, 4 on the way) he has regressed behaviorally and requires more attention than we can give him right now. We would love to keep him in our family, but we cannot provide the right environment for him at this time. Homer is good with our kids and has a good track record with other dogs in doggy daycare, but has no history living with other pets in the home. He loves walks, running around our backyard and playing fetch (keep-away), and curling up for long nap. He gets very excited to meet new people and dogs, but eventually settles in once greeted. We would like to find him a home that can give him the exercise and attention that he needs. He needs a fenced-in yard. Homer is very anxious when left alone, which leads to destructive behavior and bathroom accidents. He had previously gone years between accidents and could be left alone all day without issue.
