Story
Meet Reyah ❤️ Reyah is a calm, sweet, and wonderfully easygoing 5‑year‑old pup who slips into new routines and environments with ease. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and loves being close to her people without ever demanding attention. Whether you’re relaxing at home, working, or heading out for a quiet stroll, she brings a peaceful, grounding presence. She’s also an excellent travel companion — steady, relaxed, and happy to go wherever you go — making adventures smooth and stress‑free. She’s great with other dogs, has lived comfortably with kids, and her mellow personality makes her a lovely fit for many types of homes. She hasn’t lived with cats before, so thoughtful introductions would be needed if you have feline family members. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who blends right into your life, Reyah is the kind of dog who quietly becomes your best friend. Apply to adopt today, or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions! 🐾

Story
Meet Sapphire! A big silly girl looking for a loving home. She is the kind of girl to be a bit apprehensive when meeting new people, but warms up VERY quickly (especially with treats involved.) She plays hard with dogs and is would likely prefer to be with larger dogs due to her playstyle, she is used to living with other dogs. We don't know of her experience with cats or younger children, but she does have a strong personality that may not be the best fit for kitties. It would be up to the adopter to do a slow introduction to anything new. If you are interested in Sapphire, please call us here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with her at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.

Story
Meet Waylon! An outgoing, big boy that enjoys meeting new people and loves to give affection to his new friends. He is working on his manners so we are suggesting he go with older kids/teens just due to his size and excitability. He came from a home with other dogs but can be selective with newer dog friends. He comes on very strongly and will need an adopter that can handle a big boy such as himself. He does not have any known experience with cats, but due to his size and excitable nature- he may not be the best fit for them. It would be up to the adopter to do a slow introduction to new things. If you are interested in Waylon, please call is here at (401)846-8276. You are welcome to stop by our Animal Care and Adoption Center here in Middletown, RI to meet with him at any time. Feel free to visit our website, www.potterleague.org, for more information on adopting from us.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: 2 years (as of 4/3/2026) Weight: 70 lbs (as of 4/3/26) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Mo, a sweet and friendly young lady ready to bring joy and laughter into your life. Known for her friendly demeanor, Mo can light up any room with her goofy antics and playful spirit. She has a knack for making both people and animals feel at ease, quickly becoming the star wherever she goes. Mo was the only dog in her previous home and entertained herself chasing squirrels & running the fence with the neighbor’s little dog. She loves everyone she meets including kids. She even seems cool with cats. She is a house trained, crate trained, and walks great on the leash. Mo's sweet, funny nature makes her a delightful companion, full of personality and eager to please. If you're looking for a heartwarming addition to your family, Mo's boundless charm and affection make her the perfect choice. Mo’s story: She was happily enjoying life with her elderly parents. Sadly, both needed to move to an assisted-living facility which doesn’t accept pets.
