She raised her pups and is making up for lost time being one herself now in her foster home. This funny girl gravitates to ponds to swim in, loves a good roll and scratch in the grass and socializes with everyone from the cats to the XL dogs living with her. She is totally unaware of her size, loves to meet strangers, go for car rides and is always up for an adventure. She would love a home with other dogs but this girl would also love to be the only one, soaking up all the attention and being your sidekick! 🐾 Adult Female German Shepherd Looking for the Right Home 🐾 I am looking to rehome my adult female German Shepherd to a loving, responsible, and committed home. She needs to be the only pet in the home. She has not been well socialized, so she can be nervous or unsure around new people and unfamiliar situations. Because of this, she needs someone who is patient and willing to give her the time she needs to build trust and feel comfortable. Any meet-and-greet would need to take place at my home, where she feels safest and can meet you gradually in a familiar environment. Her ideal home would be with someone who: • Has experience with German Shepherds or large working breeds • Is patient, calm, confident, and willing to work with her at her own pace • Has a home without other pets • Understands that trust may take time • Is willing to continue working on training and socialization She would likely benefit greatly from working with an experienced trainer not required though

Meet Leeza! Leeza is female Belgian Malinois/ Shepherd Mix. She is, not surprisingly for her breed, an extremely intelligent girl. Leeza's work ethic is unmatched. She is very motivated and is capable of learning commands, routines, and tasks faster than most breeds. She is housetrained, crate trained, and she knows all of her basic commands. Leeza is 2 years old (DOB 2/12/2024) and weighs about 67 lbs. She loves car rides and the great outdoors. She likes to play with both squeaky toys and puzzles. If you throw a ball for her, she loves to chase after it! Being a working girl, she will require both physical and mental exercise. Leeza is clearly a very devoted girl who unfortunately has not had much socialization in her short life. Despite not getting the attention and love she deserved in those early developmental years, she still gives love freely and unconditionally. She is clearly looking for her person(s). Someone she can love deeply and be fiercely loyal to. Leeza is up for adoption with Double Dog Rescue. adoption donation : $599 weight 38lbs Age 6 months Charlie is a sweet and friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She was found abandoned at a truckstop in a rural part of Mississippi and luckily rescued by Wags. At the rescue, she is having a blast running and playing with all the dogs, she just loves other pups! In the house, she is mellow and chill and loves to follow her Foster Mom around. Charlie has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to travel to the northeast as soon as the weekend of August 9th. Charlie is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home. She has beautiful and appeared to be a Catahola Leopard dog, very common in Mississippi and known to be very smart and loving dogs. Charlie is just the best, she will make a wonderful member of the family. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! adoption donation : $499 weight 50 lbs Age 3 years Layne is a beautiful 3-year-old, 50 lb golden pup who came to us pretty timid and scared of the world but has since gained a lot of confidence. She wants to be loved and give love in return. Layne lives with other dogs, kids and a baby. She is a sweetheart and a quiet girl—she is the only dog in the house who does not bark at the mailman! Layne loves to run in the yard and watch the birds fly by so a fenced yard is preferred. She adores loves playing fetch and treat time. She loves romping around the yard with her four-legged foster brothers and would love a canine companion! Layne does well with senior dogs as well. Layne also has a foster brother, Puddles, who is her very best buddy so if an adopter was potentially looking for two dogs they would be a perfect pair! Layne is the quintessential family dog, she is gentle and loving and will make a wonderful member of the family. He is a typical puppy.... loves to meet new people, loves to play with other dogs, loves his toys, loves to snuggle and loves to give kisses. He is one big love bug! Luke is also very treat motivated, so will easily learn what you would like to teach him. Luke's foster mom says "He LOVES to play ball outside. He goes and goes, but when we come inside, will settle right down for a nap or grab a bone or another toy. He is great at entertaining himself. Luke is a fan of car rides and all the smells that accompany them and seems to treat every new experience as the best adventure ever! He is so wiggly and cute when greeting you. We are working on keeping paws on the ground, and on being a better leash walker right now." Luke is about 9 months old and 40lbs.
