Story

I write this with the most love and care for my little Loko. I wish I didn’t have to remove him, but my other dog and him are fighting more and more, and it is becoming unbearable for not just us but the dogs. For the record, my other dog starts about 80% of the fights. Loko has potential to be a great pet for someone with the time and patience to train him and give him the attention he needs. He does have a couple of quirks that can make him challenging. Anything that makes a “motor” type of noise, such as a blow dryer, or blender make him very reactive. He also is a bit of a scared dog, and can be weary of new people in his space. In common places, such as the doggy daycare, he is a perfecty behaved sweet boy, but in his own space, he can be protective. He’s a lover at heart, loves his toys, loves adventure, but as a short nose breed can only handle so much. He is very food motivated and loves dinner time. He greets us everyday with a toy in his mouth, and sweet tender eyes.

Story

Who can resist this curly-que tail and the perky floppy ears???? Little Percy was dumped at the county shelter with his litter at a very young age. Being more uncertain than the rest of his litter he was overlooked by potential adopters for almost 4 months until his foster mom said enough is enough and removed him from the stressful shelter environment. Percy's foster mom says "... he is learning about life outside the shelter and is turning out to be quite brave as time goes on. He is getting exposed to a lot of different people and situations. He has mastered the leash and been great with everyone. Loud noises would get him at first but that is going away now and he is turning into a great adventurer. He may be part rabbit the way he springs around on his walks! He loves helping with the farm chores now with the rest of the pack and is even starting to play with toys!" Percy is about 7 months old and 25 lbs, He will probably be 30 - 35lbs fully grown. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vetting, house trained and crate trained. Story

Iceman and his siblings were dropped off at a shelter with their mother, somehow unwanted. This could be the best thing to happen to them however as they are all in great foster homes and have a chance to find wonderful families and live the lives they deserve. Iceman and two of his brothers are in the same loving foster home getting snuggles, meeting farm animals and playing with the other dogs in the house as well as the cats. They are typical puppies, funny, silly and learning every day! They love to snuggle with the family and be loved on, their potty training is coming along well, and they are very good in their crates at night. Iceman is about 5 months old, 45lbs, neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vetting for his age. Meet sweet Hermie. This poor boy was picked up as a very thin stray, but as soon as his foster mom heard, she pulled him from the shelter and started working with him. He has now put on weight, a little more to go, but is a happy, healthy boy! Hermie is a huge lover of water, as you can see from his pictures! He is a social butterfly who loves adventure, has great recall and knows his basic commands. He is good on a leash and enjoys being around other dogs, cats and even chickens! He helps his foster mom with the farm chores and joins her on the dog pack walks daily. She says he is just the best boy! Hermie is about a year old, 45lbs, microchipped, neutered, and up to date on all vetting. He is crate and house trained.
