Story
Odin is a very silly, fun, and energetic dog but also loves taking naps and just being with you. He is happiest when he’s got his pack with him all in the same room. He needs a space where he has plenty of room to run and prefers the outdoors in any climate. He can be a little aggressive if he is startled and needs a good routine. Giving him away breaks his owners hearts because he truly is a good dog, he just needs lots of love while also giving him the freedom to be a dog.

Remmy is an affectionate people oriented dog who loves to be with his person. He will not leave your side and is ready to go on any adventure with you, days at the lake, a trip to Dunkin (don’t forget his pup cup or he will let you know what you forgot). He has been a wonderful 11 year old companion and he needs someone who is used to large powerful breeds and needs a good active lifestyle. Remmy is up to date on all his shots and just needs to find his person to take him through his retirement.

Story
With a heavy heart We are looking for a new home for our belove Archie. He's 2 years old boarder collie mix. This has been a difficult decision for our family, but due to ongoing behavioral challenges, we believe he would thrive better in a different environment. Some of these behaviors are resource guarding causing reactivity only towards our 2 other dogs at home. Its not a everyday issues but it has increased. Because of these challenges he would do best in a home with no other dogs. We never had issues with people or children and he really loves playing with other dogs outside of his home, even with his two brothers but his resource guarding in home is affecting those relationships. He has a best friend which is our neighbors dog whom he loves dearly. They play everyday! He is a great dog but needs a different environment for him to thrive. This really saddens us especially my husband. We want to make sure he goes to a loving caring home with the opportunity to live a great life.

Story
PLEASE NOTE: *If ur application has already been denied, kindly asking that u do not continue to re-apply* Shelby would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her & provide plenty of mental & physical enrichment. The ideal home would be with someone who is with her during the day & doesn’t have other pets or small children. Although, she does well with other animals & people, she is used to getting 1:1 attention for the past 6 yrs. Fenced in backyard is preferred.Shelby is super smart, highly energetic, loves to play with her herding balls, enjoys chasing u around the yard, plays hide & seek & is excellent at catching balls! She is extremely affectionate & loves to snuggle, will roll-over for belly rubs & will demand more kisses & cuddles. She will gently paw at ur legs or nudge ur hand w. her snout, when looking for attention. She enjoys the outdoors, especially the snow but also likes to bask in the sun.

Story
Meet Marmee, she was wondering around the valley in Texas looking for shelter and food with her puppies. Her puppies came up last year and all got adopted ( She was found with Jake, assumed to be the father) We do not know how long they were in the valley but Marmee needed alot of care when she was saved. She was heartworm postive and needed dental work. She is the adult Mama dog that everyone wants because she is so thankful to have been saved.  Update! Marmee is here! Marmee just arrived and we gave her some time to settle in, but she was basically like, "Thanks for the tour. I've got this!" This is Mom! Now it's finally her turn to find a family of her own. At 6 years old and 53 pounds and working hard on losing a light weight!  This sweet calm girl has all the important things figured out: Housetrained Loves her crate Excellent on leash Great with other dogs Loves walks and car rides   Marmee has the sweetest spirit and a smile that never seems to leave her face, despite everything she has been through. She's gentle, affectionate, and loves spending time with both her people and her canine friends. While she gets along great with the dogs in her foster home, Marmee is happiest being part of whatever you're doing, whether that's heading out for a walk, riding along on errands, or relaxing at home. You can take her any where. She loves meeting new people DOB: 5/28/2020 53 lbs Spayed, fully vaccinated & microchipped If you are interested in making Marmee a part of your family please apply from our website. www.fromalonetohomeresuce.org ##2749845##
