Story

Winnie had been our loving pet for the past four years, and has been a great pet to me and my husband she is pretty low maintenance and energy in terms of daily care. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves going on walks and hikes and lounging at the end of the day with her people. She doesn’t chew human things but loves a good bone or kong or playing with her toys. She is good with some dogs, unknown about cats and no children. Unfortunately she has shown some aggression towards our son who is a year and with a baby on the way we no longer feel like a good home for her. She has a bite history as well which I am happy to share with potential adopters. She really is a great dog and with the right person or couple I think she could be and make someone very happy.

The ideal home would be with someone who is with her during the day & doesn’t have other pets or small children. Although, she does well with other animals & people, she is used to getting 1:1 attention for the past 6 yrs. Fenced in backyard is preferred.Shelby is super smart, highly energetic, loves to play with her herding balls, enjoys chasing u around the yard, plays hide & seek & is excellent at catching balls! She is extremely affectionate & loves to snuggle, will roll-over for belly rubs & will demand more kisses & cuddles. She will gently paw at ur legs or nudge ur hand w. her snout, when looking for attention. She enjoys the outdoors, especially the snow but also likes to bask in the sun.

This beautiful pup and sibling where found in the valley of texas looking for food and shelter. One of our rescue partners stepped in and trapped them. We couldn't refuse them so we stepped in to help them find their furever home here in New England. Frankie is now local! A five-month-old Heeler mix! Frankie made the trip up to Massachusetts just a couple of days ago with his sisters and is beginning to settle into foster life.So far, he seems to be adjusting well with his foster family and foster siblings.
