Story
Lola is a cute 11-year-old black and white dachshund beagle mix. She is energetic and loves walks but can tire out easily. She is great with people but cannot be around other dogs, unfortunately. She is a small dog, around 19 pounds. She is smart, loving, and a loyal companion. She is so very loved but after a recent life change, she needs a more stable environment. She takes a twice daily pill for seizures but has not had one for over a year. She has been the best family dog for us for over a decade and we hate to let her go but it is the best decision for her. We are heartbroken. She deserves a good loving home to live out her last years. Thank you for considering this forever loved, beautiful, amazing dog.

Story
Kelly and her litermates are the puppies that were living in borrows in the ground in the woods. .Kelly would be best in a home with older kids over 12 years old.  Can't believe they made it as long as they did living that way. Now they are healthy and ready for a good life. Kelly needs another dog in her life in order for her to thrive. If you interested in adopting pleasae apply She is doing great in her local foster home  6 months old Lab mix Dog-friendly (must have another confident dog in the home) Best with kids 12+Her personality: A little shy with new people Gaining confidence more and more each day Looking for a patient family who will let her continue to blossom What her foster has to say: • She’s been exploring new places and learning important life skills every day.• She’s enjoyed outings to restaurants, busy public spaces, and even Nantasket Beach! fromalonetohomerescue.org ##2655138##

Story
Updated 8/31/2026 JILLYBEAN IS READY TO FALL… IN LOVE!  Meet Jill — aka Jillybean, Silly Jilly.  She’s an 11-month-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees/Lab mix with long legs, a goofy personality, and just the right amount of awkward. Jilly spent her summer doing some pretty big things.  She discovered that walks are actually FUN—as long as you skip the sidewalks and give her a long lead, some woods, a field or a trail.  (Neighborhood strolls? Hard pass. ) Jilly prefers the scenic route. She’s also decided that humans may not be completely terrible.  She’s become incredibly affectionate with her foster mom and is even starting to investigate familiar visitors. She’ll creep closer… stare at you… creep a little closer… and MAYBE let you touch her nose with one finger. Congratulations. You have been chosen.  This silly girl has come SO far, and she is ready for a home of her own. And judging by one of her latest pictures, she’s already planning her fall schedule:  Find fireplace.  Get cozy.  Wrestle with dog sibling.  Repeat. Jilly does have two non-negotiables for her forever home:  A securely fenced yard  A playful, confident dog sibling Give this girl some patience, a canine best friend, and room to be her wonderfully weird self, and she’ll take it from there.  Jillybean had an amazing summer. Now let’s get this silly girl HOME for fall.  ##2655130##
