Story
Hammond aka Archie is a 2.5 year catahoula leopard mix with lots of puppy energy left in him. He absolutely loves walks and running zoomies around a fenced in backyard. He loves to play fetch with a ball outside or tug of war with his toys inside. He will bring toys to you to let you know he wants some attention. He loves other dogs. Is always happiest at the dog park. With cats, he isn’t great. He has a bit of a chase drive with them. He is completely house trained and crate trained (loves his crate actually). He still needs some more work with other house etiquette (likes his bed but prefers the couch). Hammond aka Archie is such a good boy. A fun dog who loves kids, loves his people. He is up for a car ride adventure, a hike in the woods, some peanut butter on a spoon and a cuddle on the couch. He is located in Framingham, MA and he is looking for a foster home, or even better would be a forever home. He’s house trained, doesn’t mind a kennel, loves to ride in a vehicle and is good with other dogs. He walks good on a leash and is very smart. He is so loving and never meets a stranger. He’s about 60 pounds and is a lab mix 2-3 years old. He’s in foster care in Louisiana and has been waiting for a few months for his happily ever after story to come true. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated and on heartworm preventative. Help us find Peter his forever home. Adoption details: In some instances, a meet and greet is not possible before adoption unless we have a foster home in New England available. Available for a Meeting confirms the dog is in a NE Foster home and available for a meeting in the city state provided. Most times our dogs get adopted before a foster home becomes available - and if so, they go straight to adopters home. Foster parents talk to adopters and feel confident that this will be a match before our dogs are transported up. Also if by some chance it is not a match we have a safety net in place as we ask that adopters to let us know that it is not a match and we direct you to take the dog to a foster home or boarding kennel once that is arranged. If necessary, we will ask you to foster the dog until a foster home can be arranged. Transport details: Mighty Mutts Shipping, Pets LLC (petsllc.net) or CAFA Transport will deliver our precious pups on commercial rescue animal transport to designated locations. The fee is 225.00 which IS INCLUDED in your adoption fee already. MA and NH RESIDENTS: If you are a Massachusetts or New Hampshire residence an additional fee of $155.00 will apply due to State quarantine fee requirements. If the dog is in a foster home in New England, this fee will be added in the adoption fee regardless of where the adopters home is located making the total adoption fee $775.00 for puppies and adults. This includes a 48 quarantine, recheck by a MA licensed veterinarian, and issued a MA health certificate. Visit all our available dogs & cats at www.cenlaallianceforanimals.com. Story
Orso is a 4 year old German Shepard imported from the Czech Republic as a puppy. His birthday is July 4th. Orso is very sweet , filled with energy and has a lot of play drive. He does need someone with experience with high drive German Shepards and strong leadership qualities. He sits , lays down , heals ( sometimes :) ) and will go between your legs on command. He’ll need daily exercise. Orso is in good health but he has a condition called EPI that is easily managed by adding a supplement to each meal. We can point you in the right direction if more info is needed. Unfortunately changing family situation has is needed if to find him a home.

Story
Miller is a 4.5-year-old chocolate lab, loyal beyond measure, house trained and extremely obedient. Come meet this handsome fella, see how fast his tail wags! Miller enjoys car rides, relaxing walks, and hanging out at home. He also loves being out and about, meeting new people but prefers they don't stay in his domain. He is such a loyal and loving companion. Unfortunately, Miller has bite history, and despite how loving and loyal he is with me, I am unable to feel confident that a world with my family and Miller can co-exist. After Miller spent a month with a dog trainer, not only did he NOT attempt to nip the trainer, he bonded with him and treated him with the respect, love and obedience he shows me. That is why I am confident that an ideal home for Miller would be a one-person home with someone who can provide Miller with structure and love to thrive, and one where he won't have to wear a muzzle all day. He is such an affectionate boy that has so much love to give.

Story
We have some great videos of NOVA! Email storkwoods@comcast.net to get those sent to you! There are a lot of dogs that look like Nova but truly only one that looks like Nova and is as amazing as she is….but of course we are bias! Nova is about 5 years old and is a spayed female. She is very loved in her current home but her family is getting custody of a small child who is allergic to dogs so all of their fur babies have to find new homes. She is used to hanging out with teenagers and chilling but really shines when she is outside catching a frisbee or a ball mid air. She is super athletic even though she is about 65 pounds. If she was a male her name would be Michael Jordan. She has mad catching skills and is entertaining to watch as she really puts on a show! Who doesn’t love a dog that is super cool that can catch a frisbee in the air at full speed?!! We definitely want to find her a home with a fenced in yard so she can enjoy this activity. Nova has always had other furry friends to hang with and right now her big buddy is a 15 year old 10 pound poodle. Since she gains so much confidence from other dogs we would like her to be in a home with another dog. Nova is a love bug and really appreciates life to its fullest. The little things just make her so happy. Going for a walk…..well you just made her tail go a hundred miles a minute. She is super social and loves the company of humans and dogs alike. We feel that Nova would not be at her fullest potential if she was left alone for 10-12 hours at a time. She has so much love and fun to share its a shame to waste it on being an “ evening” only pet. Nova is housetrained as well. If you think you could give this special gal an incredible home, the BEST way to begin is to EMAIL STORKWOODS@COMCAST.NET directly for an adoption application. We think you will love her! We have foster homes in several areas of the country. We do have transport available.

Story
Rusty oh Rusty! What a hoot! One year old Rusty is believed to be a Basset/hound or a Basset/lab mix. You can see that his front legs turn out like a Basset hound. This little low rider loves everybody including cats and other dogs. He just loves everyone. Rusty ended up in a high kill shelter and the staff immediately fell in love with his gregarious personality. Children are his special buddies and frisbee playing is his athletic prowess. Rusty likes to snuggle with his humans and at night will sleep on his comfy dog bed next to his human’s bed. He seems to have an abundant amount of energy to be able to hike or take a romp at a dog park. All around he is a jewel of dog and would be a great addition to an active family. Rusty is about 55 pounds which is actually a good weigh for him. If you are interested in adopting Rusty, EMAIL STORKWOODS@COMCAST.NET and request an adoption application. This is the fasted way to get the ball rolling toward making him a member of your family. We are a volunteer rescue group so please be kind!
