Story

This guy is an old soul. He is not yet 2 but his favorite pass time is laying in the sun being used as a recliner for the kids. He has participated in rehabilitating fosters both feline and canine & of all ages. He has cuddled a litter of new born bunnies & due to no fault of his own is now looking for a forever family. He walks on a leash is kennel trained, loves car rides, adventures and looks forward to naps and cuddles. He doesn't mind high energy dogs & plays with everyone. His play time is usually short and then he enjoys napping in the sun or a cool spot in the shade. He has been wonderful around ALL sorts of livestock (mostly small). He can be a little standoffish at 1st & with his breeding alerts to changes such as new people or animals but has not shown any aggression just love. He has chased off a few bears, & smaller predators where we lived before. I cant give him time to aclimate to an apartment & have came to the hard conclusion he needs more than what I can give.

Roma is a true lover. She loves affection and she loves food/treats. Roma will never forego an opportunity to be loved on and will dance/prance if she is about to get fed or receive a treat. She has never met a human that she doesn’t love, of any age (child or adult) and she gets along with any/all dogs. She has lived with a cat in the past and tolerated her, however, the cat was around from the time she was a puppy. She has not been open/accepting to new cats, so I would recommend a cat free home. She, also, is under the impression that chickens are her personal source to hunt, so I wouldn’t recommend having her around chickens… if you have chickens then I wouldn’t leave her around them unattended. She is fine being left out and about in the house, she is well out of the chewing stage and just lounges around waiting for your return. She is kennel trained too, so if you prefer to kennel her then she will load up with no issue.

Frank is a big, goofy, incredibly loving dog who has been a deeply loved member of our family. He is affectionate, loyal, and loves being with his people, he has been my shadow and constant companion. Making the decision to rehome him is heartbreaking, but we want to give Frank the opportunity to thrive in the right home.Frank needs to be the only dog in his new home. Unfortunately, he has had several serious conflicts with another male dog in our household, despite significant professional behavioral training. He has never shown aggression toward people and is wonderful with our family, but because of his history, we believe a home without other dogs is the safest environment for him.Frank is neutered, fully vaccinated, and trained. His adopter will receive his crate, bed, four months of Simparica Trio, and access to refresher training through Unleashed Academy. We are looking for an experienced, committed owner who can give this loving goofball a safe forever home.
