Story
Meet Alaska – the Houdini Husky! Are you ready to add a little magic to your life? Because Alaska isn’t just any dog—she’s an escape artist, peanut butter connoisseur, and independent adventurer all rolled into one fluffy, brilliant package. This girl doesn’t just break out of crates—she plans her exits. Need someone to open the peanut butter jar? Alaska’s got it. Forget to lock the front door? She might just let herself out for a self-guided tour of the neighborhood. (Yes, the local police may know her by name.) Alaska is incredibly smart and she’s looking for a home that can keep her busy—both mentally and physically. Puzzle toys? Long hikes? Training games? She’s in. A secure yard and a sense of humor? Highly recommended. She’s ready to leave her wild solo adventures behind and find a family who can keep up with her brilliance and love her for exactly who she is. Could that be you? Alaska is part of our "Meet Me" program. This program allows potentially interested adopters to talk to the foster directly and/or meet the dog before deciding to adopt or put in an application. Just send an email to meet_me@mostlymuttz.org and her foster will be in touch!  If you’re looking for an adventurous, affectionate, and slightly sassy companion, Alaska just might be your perfect match! Ready to meet her? Apply today! Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2278432##

Story
This stunning Husky mix has had a tough month, but she’s ready to put it behind her and start the next chapter of her life with a family who loves her. Pepper’s story began when she was left in a neighborhood where some kind folks took care of her. She quickly charmed everyone she met, especially the kids—she adored them even more than the adults! When she found her way to the shelter, the staff fell head over heels for her sweet, calm demeanor. But Pepper faced a frightening moment when another dog attacked her through their shared kennel. Thankfully, her injuries were minor, and with love and care in her southern foster home, she has bounced back beautifully. Now fully recovered, Pepper is ready to travel north to find her forever home!  She loves being by your side, giving kisses, and showing off her excellent manners. She rides like a pro in the car, is crate trained, and just wants to be part of your family. Does not require a fenced in yard Email: mostlymuttz@gmail.comWebsite: www.mostlymuttz.org #fosteringsaveslives #fostertoadopt #fostertoforever #mostlymuttzrescue #seekingpafoster (Pepper is currently located in a foster home in North Carolina.  She is available for adoption within a 2 hour drive of Thomasville, NC.  She is  also available for foster or foster to adopt in our normal service area in the Northeast.  Any questions regarding adoption coverage areas should be directed to mostlymuttz@gmail.com) Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2239728##

Story
hi Macey! This smiley face belongs to an 8 year old husky . She and several other Northern mixes came to us from a Lancaster farm when they were no longer wanted or needed. She is 56 lbs. Macey is amazing! She has been nothing short of amazing with us. She walked into the kennel like she has been with us her whole life - happy, friendly and affectionate. She loves exploring the outdoors but as soon I sat down on the bench, she climbed up on my lap to give kisses and then sat down next to me for more cuddles. Do not let her age fool you - she is your typical smart, active husky that cannot wait for her next adventure She would need to meet any resident dogs. She will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4dx tested and dewormed. She also had a dental. **If you are serious about adoption, please start by filling out the adoption application on our website www.phoenixanimalrescue.com Her adoption fee is $350** Phoenix Animal Rescue Chester Springs, PA 19425 Kennel License #5152
