Meet Odie – This sweet boy gives the best hugs, shares the gentlest kisses, and has a playful yet mild-mannered personality that’ll steal your heart in no time.
Odie' play style is bouncy and joyful. He enjoys wrestling with other dogs or a good game of tug-of-war! On his own, Odie will run and play independently, or swap toys constantly until he settles by your feet with a good chew. He is also very excited by birds and will hop along, staring at the sky when he sees them go by.
Odie loves everyone he meets. His signature move? A giant bear hug followed by backing himself up to your feet to sit or sprawl out with a toy. Instant best friend.
He is calm and well-mannered when inside his kennel and has proven himself to be a very fast learner, mastering his basic skills and a good number of tricks in no time!
Odie’s got all the makings of an incredible family companion—sweet, smart, playful, gentle, and oh-so cuddly. If you’re looking for a dog who will fill your home with affection, laughter, and the occasional flying toy, Odie is your guy.
Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
