Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Buddy is approximately 3.5 years old and about 95 lbs. He is gradually losing weight as came to us a bit overweight. Buddy is a big, strong, healthy, active, fun-loving boy who is excited about life! Buddy takes joy in the "small things," like TOYS, TOYS, TOYS, and balls, and sticks, whatever! In fact if you could make a movie about Buddy's life, it could be called, "Toys! Toys! Toys," simliar to the 1962 Elvis movie "Girls! Girls! Girls!"  Buddy is always up for a good time, absolutely loves to go the dog park (daily) and he just always has a hope in his heart that you want to play games as much as he does! (Fetch and pull games).  Buddy is smart and he would make a good watchdog in the sense that he is alert and has a nice loud bark, but he is not an incessant barker or anything like that. He loves to hang outside, can spend time on his own out in the yard, just enjoying his toys, the sun, watching other people or cars go by, he just really enjoys being outside.  Buddy can be very calm and great in the house, he settles well once he realizes you can't play with him or you have to do your work. He is a great companion, never too far away, chilling on a dog bed or a big rug.  Buddy has a sweet temperament, and is definitely action oriented, ready to go ride or die kind of guy! We are seeking a home for Buddy with a fenced in yard, someone who is very active and understand the active needs of a young, big dog. Looking for dog park people, as Buddy just thrives in this activity, and/or someone that has a lot of land, and can be outside with him a lot and get him the activity and action he craves. (And then again, once he's been active, he chills very well).  Buddy is crated trained, great with other dogs, people. It seems like Buddy could be good with cats, but gets excited to greet them, so they tend to run away. Buddy is too exuberant for a home with small children, but older children may be OK. He is very loving and excited about life.  If you would like to learn more about Buddy, please submit an interest form on our website:   https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHLPP vaccine, 4DX test (@8 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dogs actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information and observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 8, 2026, 11:49 am

Story
Age: DOB 2/12/2026 Dog friendly: yes Cat friendly: yes Kid friendly: yes Potty trained: just a puppy Crate trained: just a puppy Meet Huckle and his sister Amaretto ✈️🐾 These two adorable little adventurers flew in on a small plane all the way from Oklahoma, leaving their stray days behind and heading straight toward a brighter future. Huckle (the charming little gentleman) and Amaretto (his sweet and spunky sister) are believed to be Terrier/Lab mixes—and 100% heart-melters. They may be small, but their personalities are big! Both pups are incredibly sweet and cuddly, always happy to be scooped up for snuggles or to simply hang out by your side. They love to play and wrestle like typical puppies, especially with the two big resident dogs in their foster home, but they’re just as content soaking up pets and attention. Curious and observant, Huckle and Amaretto are always watching the world around them, learning something new every day. They’re already sleeping quietly through the night in their kennel—such smart little travelers! Like all young pups, they’re still working on potty training, but they’re off to a great start and eager to learn with a little patience and consistency. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and oh-so-snuggly companion to grow up with your family, Huckle is ready to steal your heart. 💕 Adoption Fee: $595

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Everyone, meet Haddie. Haddie, meet everyone!    This sweet southern gal came all the way from Alabama! She's 6 months old, and about 55lbs. We don't know much about her past, but it's her FUTURE that matters! We are learning more and more about her each day. She's a little timid but warming up quickly! Coming from a warm place, we secretly ask each other every day why people would live in such a cold place? What a shock for a little pup!   Haddie LOVES her toys and a good bone to chew on. She's great with other dogs. Just needs a slow introduction. She will take some patience since she is a little scared, but nothing that a good treat, safe space and lot of love won't fix. Also great with kids. She warmed up to the tiny human the quickest. Don't pass up this chance to make this sweet girl part of your family!   If you would like to learn more about Haddie, please submit an interest form on our website:  https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue/ @RedemptionRoadRescueMN *Adoption fee for Haddie is $595 + MN state tax* All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, DHPP vaccine series, Lepto. vaccine series, rabies vaccine, heartworm test (negative),  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 2:20 pm

He has shown himself to be comfortable with many types of dogs and all ages of people. Elkin is steady, calm, and gentle.
