Panda is one of 13 dogs recently rescued from unsanitary living conditions in Passaic when their owner was being evicted. The dogs were all scared, matted, and not socialized outside the home but are all warming up nicely and sweet little ones once they feel safe. They LOVE other dogs and rely on them for security, so will need to be adopted into homes that have another friendly dog in the household OR can be adopted in compatible pairs. They will all need some patience walking on leash and working on housebreaking, typical of dogs from puppy mill and hoarding situations but this crew is very people-focused and soaking up all the attention they are getting. They are currently in the process of being vetted, groomed, and spayed/neutered and will be ready for homes very soon... please submit an application to meet them by appointment once they are ready. Panda is a tiny girl, under 7lbs, with milk drying up from her most recent litter of puppies. We don't know what happened to her puppies- likely sold or given away before her rescue:( She's warming up fast, and craves attention, and spends more time walking around on her 2 hind legs before, either doing her little begging dance or putting her paws on your lap asking to be picked up. She loves her doggie friends and will need another little dog in the household. We think she's about 3 years old and was very matted but her remaining coat is very fine and silky like a yorkie. My Boys are so lovable. Arebee with the white top hair is 13 yrs old and love to play with his toys. He can be very stubborn sometimes. Shadow with the black top hair is 13 yrs old also. All he like to do is cuddle and sleep. He gets very happy when it's time to go outside. Please these boys were raised together since baby time. I would like for them to stay together. They are house trained. They have their own bed cage and plenty of clothes. Whatever food and/or wee-wee pads are left will be going with them. Please I'm looking for someone who WILL LOVE THEM AND TAKE GOOD CARE OF THEM.

Buttercup and her sister and brother, Bubbles and Brodie were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are 8 months old. Buttercup has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs just under 7 pounds and is probably full grown now. Buttercup is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Buttercup is a little bossy but plays great with her brother and sister. we feel like she would be fine with other dogs after getting to know them but would always want to be the boss. She would be fine with older children and we are not sure about cats but the bossy part would be the same at first.
