Meet Phoenix, an adorable Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso male mix. At 5 years old, Phoenix is being surrendered, through no fault of his own, and is in need of a loving home. He spends much of his time during the day alone, and would absolutely love a home where he can interact with his family, be active, be cuddled, and live his best life. Phoenix is about 13pounds of cuteness, searching for a committed, loving family. Phoenix sleeps in a crate with the door open. He is pad trained in the home, but will go outside as well. Also, leash and crate trained. He is up to date on vaccines and he is neutered. Pad training is due to Phoenix being alone up to 13 hours per day. At this time, Phoenix has not had interaction with other dogs, but current owner reports that he was left at doggy daycare and he got along with other dogs well. Phoenix would thrive in a home that’s ready to give lots of love and guidance as he continues to learn to interact with people and other animals, all while providing a family with love. Phoenix would thrive best in a quieter forever home where he can continue to show his wonderful personality. Bubbles and her sister Buttercup were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd last year so they are now a year old. Bubbles has been spayed, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. She’s also microchipped. She weighs about 9 pounds and is full grown now. Bubbles is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. She needs a little practice on the leash and she’s making great progress on house training. Bubbles is a very friendly and a super snuggler! She and Buttercup are very bonded and we would very much like to get them a home together. They are so funny together! They play and run zoomies around the house. They would do well with older children and we have not had them around cats but we feel like she would be fine with proper introduction. Layla also has allergies that require ongoing care. When she first arrived, her skin was in rough shape, but with treatment and a special diet, she’s made great progress! She may need continued management to keep her comfortable. Shi-Shi is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu Chihuahua mix who weighs about 12 pounds. She’s a sweet little dog who gets along well with other dogs and is currently being fully vetted with us. She was originally left with family and sadly never reclaimed, so she’s now looking for a stable, loving home where she can feel secure. Shi-Shi can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but she does warm up with time and patience. She has had puppies in the past and will be spayed so she won’t have to go through that again.
