She been through a lot and is now seeking a loving family who can provide her with the care and attention she deserves. Michelle, with her lovely cream-colored coat, is spayed and up to date on vaccines. She is ready to embark on her new journey with her forever family. While Michelle is almost housebroken, she may still require a little patience and guidance in her new home. She is slowly coming out of her shell and has shown remarkable progress since her rescue. Although she may initially be cautious around new people, she quickly warms up and will become affectionate companion. Michelle will need a home with another dog to continue to learn how to be the best dog she can be as well as a completely secure fenced yard. Due to Michelle’s small size, it is essential that she finds a home with older children who can understand and respect their delicate nature. Michelle is eagerly searching for a family who can provide her with a calm and patient environment, allowing her to continue building trust and feeling safe. Patches is a 2½-year-old Shih Tzu with a sweet soul and a quiet charm. This little lady is friendly, gentle, and has all the makings of a devoted companion. She’s crate trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and is this close to being fully housebroken. Patches is on the quieter side — she only speaks up when she has something to say, like letting you know it’s cuddle time. She gets along well with other dogs but doesn’t necessarily need a canine buddy to be happy. That said, she would likely thrive in a home with another dog and in a quieter environment overall. She would not do well in an apartment or a busy city setting. What she really wants is someone to love and stick close to. She’s not spayed yet, but that will be taken care of through our vetting process. If you're looking for a sweet, steady, and affectionate best friend, Patches may be the one for you. Kai is a very happy dog. We got Kai at 12 weeks old from the Dominican Republic. He was born on August 15, 2020 & has been our fur baby since Dec. 2020. Kai came into our lives during the pandemic, and became a pandemic puppy. He’s a very good dog overall, until he’s left home alone for too many hours. Kai has severe separation anxiety and requires company 90% of the day. He’s not needy, but he does not like to be home alone. He could sleep all day & have a random burst of energy that lasts about 1 hour each day (he will initiate play time when this happens). Kai is very friendly, loving & cuddly. We are looking for a home where Kai will have company majority of the day, he’s low maintenance, but loves your presence even if you are not directly interacting with him, so if you WFH, are a stay at home person, or retired then this might be a good fit for you.
