Camper is ready to head home to 🇺🇸 Background: This handsome boy was rescued from a slaughterhouse in the summer of 2022 in Daegu, Korea. After his rescue, he lived in a local shelter for three years but couldn’t find a home in Korea. After hearing his story, we brought him to our boarding house, knowing that a loving family is waiting for him in North America. His forever home is out there, and he is ready to find it. Personality & Behavior: Camper is a wonderful Border Collie with a sweet and gentle personality. He has medium energy, much calmer than a typical Border Collie, making him well-mannered and easygoing. He is social and friendly, not shy around strangers, and he gets along beautifully with other dogs. Camper is never dominant or aggressive; he is always polite and affectionate. Among people at the shelter, he is one of the sweetest and most popular dogs, loved by volunteers for his friendly and gentle nature. Daily Life & Habits: Camper is well-behaved both indoors and outdoors. He goes potty outside and is easy to care for. He handles bath time and car ride well, and walks nicely on leash, though he sometimes gets excited by new sights during walks. He does not like being caged but has shown no signs of separation anxiety or destructive behavior. Camper is simply a sweet, well-mannered boy who makes life easy and enjoyable. Health & Diet: Camper has been on regular parasite prevention since his rescue and has had full veterinary checkups. He is dewormed, microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He is healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home. Camper eats kibble twice a day and has shown no food allergies. Ideal Home: Camper is smart, quick to learn, and very sociable. He will thrive in a home that enjoys spending time outdoors. While he does not require excessive exercise like some Border Collies, he enjoys daily walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. He will happily balance activity with relaxation and is a perfect companion for a family who loves to include their dog in their outdoor lifestyle. Hello, my name is Rudy and I'm a 3-year-old, neutered Border Collie mix that currently weighs about 45lbs. I'm a sweet and friendly guy that's hoping for a family that understands my special needs don’t make me any less loveable! I have a chronic balance issue that causes me to have a bit of a wobble, especially when I'm excited. But don't worry, I'm still a happy go lucky guy and I've adapted just fine! Sometimes other animals don't understand my signature wobble, so I'd like meet any residents dogs to make sure we get along. For more information about me, just ask Customer Service about Rudy! ID# A960272 My foster family says I'm the bestest boy! Here's how I've been in their home: Rudy is such a good boy! He has a bit of a wobble, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying daily walks, going for short trots, and playing with the family. He does great in the car. He can jump in on his own (we act as a spotter just in case) and he sits patiently during the entre drive just taking in the sights and smells. He loves squeaky toys and sometimes carries them with him on walks. This adorable boy is very affectionate and is a constant companion. He will follow you around the house like a fur and LOVES to cuddle. We have been able to leave him home for the work day without any accidents. He will try to chase small animals like birds, cats, and wildlife so he will probably be best as the only child. Foster Care Hello, I'm Erin! I'm an 11 month old, 45 pound, spayed female, Boarder Collie / Shepherd mix. I'm a sweet, loving and oh so playful young lady. I am looking for a home that is ready for fun in the sun! I'm an active gal who loves to be outside and I've been dreaming of beach days and long hikes with my new family. I am super sweet and love everyone but as a young boarder collie, my job is to tell everyone where to go. Because of this I would do best in a home without littles, like little kids or cats. On the other hand, us boarder collies are some of the smartest dogs around and we love to learn. I'm sure that with the help of my family, I can grow up to be the best doggy every! (The last picture is me as a puppy! Wasn't I cute?) My foster family says:  Erin is an awesome high energy high activity border collie mix. She has beautiful shiny black fur and is just getting in her fluffy adult coat. She is 11 months old and is a tall girl about 23 inches at her shoulders. She has a white spot on her chest and a few white hairs at the end of her long tail. She loves walks and playing fetch. She is still learning basic obedience and manners and practices every day. She is housebroken in my home and asks to go out by going to the door and touching the doorknob. She is very food motivated. She loves looooong walks, weve spent days out in the Mountains, and shes the perfect wilderness companion. She is ridiculous smart like all Collies. Very sweet, loves people, kids, cats and little dogs. Has a slight trust issue with dogs her own size and bigger. She is very much a pack animal, not solitary. I have to part ways with my Princess as I have to move for work. Im super sad. Want her to go to a good home that will take her into the wilderness and looong adventures She is not a stay at home dog at all...
