Story
Just like her namesake, our Miss Marple has a keen eye for sniffing out and solving problems, all with a gentle smile. She's low down to the ground, making it better to pick up the scent! Her beautiful chocolate and blue eyes don't miss a clue. This confident gal is ready to get out on the trail with you! Are you ready to welcome this gorgeous gumshoe into your home? Some notes from her foster: Vibe: She is a very tame, chill dog. She hasn't barked since she arrived. If given the choice, she'd love to snuggle in bed or on the couch with her human but enjoys a dog bed too. She slept through the night with no problems. She definitely had a family before. We think that she probably came from a home with a backyard, so walks, going out to potty and leashes are new-ish to her. But she is a good walker and sometimes likes to stop and smell the air (and the roses!) She can do stairs, no problem She knows how to jump in a car (and likes it!) Food: She loves treats and regular food (eats the whole bowl!). She will gently eat treats out of your hand. Potty: She is potty trained and was more comfortable doing so this morning once she got her bearings (we don't have a backyard, so we take the dogs outside to a nearby park). Other dogs: She's staying with our 13 year old boxer-mix and she seems 100% fine sharing a space. For the most part she minds her own business and is not super interested in other dogs at all besides a few sniffs!

**Special offer for a special dog! Do you think Marina might be your new family member and want to ensure they are a good fit first? You can foster Marina to find out! If you'd like to do a week-long foster trial period, with the end goal of adopting them, please come check them out!Marina is aptly named as she adores playtime in water! You haven't lived until you've seen her splash around in our kiddie pool and fly through the air to catch the stream of water from the hose. We've been working on her basic manners when getting leashed up and she's such a good girl when we scatter treats for her to put her harness on. Marina is known for preferring not one but two balls when we play fetch with her. Some days, she just wants to carry around her beloved stuffy toy in her mouth. As you can probably tell, this girl knows how to enjoy herself. Come down to the Adoption Center and see if you and darling Marina are a match!

Story
Sweet Kanga is a gorgeous young boy who is doing his best to deal with shelter living. There are so many new sights, sounds and first time experiences, he is understandably tentative. We respect you Kanga! So we are taking things nice and slowly with him and making as many positive associations as we can for him as he explores the world. One thing we know for sure, is that Kanga is a sweetie pie, who just needs some patience from his humans to build his confidence.

Story
MEET JACK! Jack is an energetic, social 8 month old puppy that can't wait to find his forever home! He loves belly rubs and cuddles almost as much as he loves toys (he learned to sit using a toy as a reward instead of a treat). He's a strong chewer, so most soft toys don't last too long with him, although Jack certainly doesn't mind. He's super friendly with both new people and new dogs and he LOVES to meet new dogs that he can play with. Despite his long stint in an overcrowded shelter, Jack is very well socialized. He's still working on his house manners, but he's a quick study and has picked up commands like 'sit,' 'down,' 'leave it,' and 'wait' super fast. His quirks include loving to stare at his own reflection and a fascination with TV. Jack would thrive with an active family! He is crate trained and good on car rides. If you are interested in meeting please fill out an application at our website: www.gobeyondrescue.org/adopt Our adoption fee is $450 and includes spay/neuter, microchipping and up to date vaccines. We adopt within 200 miles of San Francisco.
