Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Ziggy! 6 years old • 32 lbs • Australian Cattle Dog / Border Collie mix (with some German Shepherd, Beagle, and Lab in there too!) Ziggy is a smart, soulful, couch-loving companion who thrives with her people and forms deep bonds with the humans she trusts. Like many herding breeds, she takes her job of “keeping an eye on things” seriously — but once she decides you’re a friend, you’re in for a lifetime of loyalty, snuggles, and companionship. When new people arrive, Ziggy will announce herself with a bark or two, then quickly switch into friendly mode. After a proper sniff and hello, she’s eager to engage — often gently guiding your hand to her chest, where she loves extra scratches. Before you know it, she’s your new best friend on the couch. Why we love Ziggy: Incredibly smart and very trainable - she k nows tricks and has great recall indoors A wonderful companion who simply wants someone around, and loves cuddling on the couch or in bed! Loves car rides — short trips or long adventures. Ziggy e njoys hiking and exploring (she’s a fan of the North Shore!) Famous for her dramatic “old man” sighs Loves chew bones and has a beloved stuffed frog, but has  never destroyed anything in the house she shouldn't! Geo-trained with a hidden fence Comfortable being left alone for up to 6 hours Ziggy was adopted during COVID and has always had adults around during the day. While she initially seemed bonded to one person, she’s truly just happiest knowing someone is nearby. She does well with trusted adults, older kids, and even a house/dog sitter when her family is away. Ziggy is a herding-breed dog through and through and can be reactive to other dogs, especially on walks. Her bark can sound intense, but with consistent, positive training, she can sometimes ignore passing dogs when walked solo. Group walks with other dogs, however, increase her stress and reactivity. Ziggy  has also developed some resource guarding around food, toys, and favorite resting spots. With structure, space, and experienced handling, these behaviors are manageable, but Ziggy will do best as the only dog in the home. Because of her herding instincts, Ziggy is not a fit for homes with young children, as she may chase or nip at ankles. A home with adults only or older, dog-savvy kids, along with a fenced yard, are a requirement. Ziggy has not had any long-term experience with cats.  Ziggy is deeply loving, loyal, and ready to be someone’s whole world. In the right home — one that understands her intelligence, sensitivity, and need for structure — she will be an incredible, devoted companion who curls up beside you, sighs contentedly, and reminds you every day how special a bond with a dog can be.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to this loving companion, submit an interest form here:  https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/ If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com *Adoption fees range from $525-$650, depending on the individual animal* Follow us on Facebook & Instagram! https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue/ @RedemptionRoadRescueMN Ziggy is fully vetted: spayed, DHLPP vaccinated, rabies vaccinated, bordetella vaccinated, lyme vaccinated,  4DX/heartworm tested,  microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed.  *Ziggy does have allergies: she takes a Benadryl daily with morning meal and gets a shot of Cytopoint in fall and spring.* Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 2:20 pm

Story
Meet Bella, a 2025 limited edition of a Border Collie x Australian Shepherd. This stunningly gorgeous gal was surrendered to NWMNAR due to recognizing they were not able to give Bella the attention she needed while they were on the road travelling. Rest assured, Bella is a sweetheart when it comes to her nature and she loves to be around people and has shown nothing but good manners. However, Bella like many people does not enjoy being a storm chaser and will show some separation anxiety and will need some reassurances from her people while they hide out in the bathtub with her while it is storming. (Because that's what we all do, right?) If you would like to give this gal a try, don't hesitate to reach out!! Bella has recently been spayed, is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm and tick-borne disease negative, and positively looking for her new furever home. Fine Print: All dogs of NWMNAR are screened at the headquarters in Ada, Mn until they are vetted. They are then transferred to foster homes throughout MN and some into ND so they can get used to lifestyles with a family in a home. Adoption fee for an adult dog is $300 + Mn tax. Adoption fee for a dog over 3 years of age is $300 + Mn tax., pup/dog1 year to 3 years is $400 + Mn tax. Under 1 year of age $500 + Mn tax. Free adoption applications can be found on our website at: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NMA/Dog. Because NWMNAR is not a public shelter, meet and greets do not take place until an application has been approved and a home visit has been completed in person or virtually. Meet and greets will take place in a public setting along with the adoption if compatible. Dogs can be met in Ada, MN weekday and weekends, or in our alternate office location in Maple Grove, MN on weekends only. Once we receive your submission, our application review team will be in touch with you. Please have patience while they look over your application.

Flynn is the kind of dog who makes it easy to fall in love. This handsome 2-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix has settled safely into foster care and is already showing what a wonderful companion he is. Friendly with adults, older children, other dogs, and even cats, Flynn fits comfortably into just about any family. He has a calm, affectionate personality and loves being near his people, happily keeping you company without demanding to be the center of attention. As a young adult, Flynn has that perfect mix of playful energy and growing maturity. He enjoys learning, responds well to gentle guidance, and thrives with a consistent routine. Like any dog settling into a new home, he'll continue to blossom with patience, structure, and encouragement. Most of all, Flynn is simply a sweet, steady soul who is ready to leave the uncertainty of his past behind. Story
Roscoe is a senior sweetheart with the softest spirit and the happiest smile. He loves being around his people and the resident dog, and he’ll quietly follow you from room to room just to be part of the moment. Snuggles are his love language, and he’ll melt right into you for as long as you’ll let him. He enjoys short walks, a little playtime outside, and absolutely lives for car rides — especially when they end with a Caribou pup cup. He smiles the whole way home like he knows he just had the best treat in the world. At home, Roscoe sleeps peacefully on a dog bed in his foster mom’s room. He rarely barks (only if the resident dog starts the conversation), but he loves to “talk” to you when you come home — a happy, wiggly welcome committee who’s been watching out the window waiting for you. He’s easygoing, gentle, and wonderful with people of all ages. He doesn’t mind cats, loves other dogs, and has a calm, steady presence that makes him feel like an old friend from the moment you meet him. Roscoe’s back legs are a bit weaker these days, so he sometimes needs help with stairs and getting into or out of the car. He takes it all in stride with that same sweet, grateful energy he brings to everything. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to love you, watch over you, and enjoy life’s simple joys by your side, Roscoe is your guy. He’s a happy, gentle soul ready to spend his golden years with someone who sees how special he is. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2665343##

Foster start date is flexible Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can help! Hello my name is Tucker, I'm from Minnesota! I'm a loving, adorable staffy mix with a beautiful brindle coat. I love to meet new friends, whether that is dogs, cats, kids, or adults. As long as they give me pets and attention I love everyone! I'm super chill with cats and have never had an issue with one. I am not crate trained because I'm so laid back, I've never needed to be in one!

Story
temp foster needed 8/12-8/15 and temp foster needed 8/21-8/23 Email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org if you can help! Hi, my name is Trinity and I am from Arkansas! From her foster: Trinity is VERY sweet and gentle, shy and loves to stick to one person (but warms up to others with some patience), is good with other dogs (low energy/non intrusive dogs would be best), is making lots of progress getting comfortable in her kennel, sleeps through the night in kennel, low energy right now (heart worm positive). We are working on potty training! She isn’t very sure what to do once she’s outside. I think her accidents inside are because she is a bit too uncomfortable outside to settle into a potty. I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while TBB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.
