Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I'm Lola, and I'm back at RSR to work on my confidence. I've recently discovered my strong urge to chase cats, so a cat-free home would be best for me. I'm looking for a patient family with time, energy, and ideally, a mature dog to help me learn. I'm a hound mix, possibly part Aussie or Border Collie, which means I'm energetic and need plenty of exercise. I love exploring scents, talking (so no shared walls), and at 12 months old, I'm still a bit of a puppy figuring things out. Car rides, snuggles, belly rubs, and following my human around are some of my favorite things. New people can make me nervous, so introductions need to be slow and supervised, especially with men, as I warm up to women faster. I deal with anxiety and some resource guarding, so I prefer to eat my meals in peace. I need a confident pack leader, ideally an adult woman, and a family with dog experience, no small kids, and a quiet environment. A fenced yard is a must, as I have a history of escaping. I'm working on my listening and leash manners, and a one-on-one trainer would be great, as group classes are overwhelming for me right now. I know it’s a lot, but I’ve had many transitions in my life. I’m excited to find my forever family, and I’d love to meet you! Feel free to ask my foster mom any questions! Saint Lola is from an Owner Surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello! My name is  Ohni , and I’m a sweet, somewhat shy pup ready to find my forever home. My fosters say I’m a genuine joy to be around—an easygoing girl who loves spending time with adults, seniors, and other dogs, especially the young, bouncy ones! Here is a video of me and my foster's puppy. I adore stuffies—they’re my favorite! I’ll toss them into the air, chase them around, and then find a cozy spot to quietly and expertly de-fluff them. You can check me out in action in this video. I also enjoy a good game of chase, even if my toys tend to bounce off my adorable face rather than get caught. Here’s another video of me playing with my foster’s pup!  When it’s time to relax, I’m housebroken, crate trained, and excellent on a leash, so I’m ready for calm walks or peaceful evenings. I love settling down with a bone or a stuffed Kong or curling up on a comfy dog bed near my foster while they read. I’m a gentle treat-taker (though I get a little quick for extra-special snacks like ham!) and an affectionate shadow—I’ll quietly follow you around the house, even leaving my nap to be near you. I may take a little extra time to warm up to new people, particularly men, but I’m eager to make friends and build trust with my humans. While I’m a wonderful companion, I do have a few things I'm still working on to be my best self. I can get startled by sudden movements, like clapping or quick gestures, and I’m happiest in a quieter, low-energy home. A sturdy plastic crate suits me best since I’ve managed to Houdini my way out of a wire one before! I’m also working on shedding a few pounds to be my healthiest self, but I’m already the perfect size for snuggles—smaller than your average Border Collie. If you’re looking for a playful, loving pup who thrives on cuddles and calm, I might be the perfect match for you! Story
Mitzi is an energetic and charming dog with a big personality who's ready to find her forever home. She’s both kennel and house-trained and has mastered the art of communication—she'll even ring a bell to let you know when she needs to go outside! Mitzi is incredibly friendly with other dogs and has no problem sharing her space, food, or treats. However, she does have a strong prey drive and can clear a 4-foot fence if she spots something worth chasing. While Mitzi can be fearful in new environments and may need some encouragement to go on walks, she feels more comfortable when she has another dog by her side. She would do best in a home with a confident resident dog who can help her feel more secure and relaxed. This affectionate girl craves human attention and loves to play. She's made great progress with learning proper play manners and is getting much better at being gentle. Mitzi is eager to please and with just a bit of guidance, she'll continue to thrive. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and joyful companion who will fill your life with energy and fun, Mitzi could be your perfect match! If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##2136166##

Come and meet me at our adoption event at Trove Brewing, Burnsville on 8/3 at 2:00 - 4:00 pm!   Age: Approximate DOB 9/9/2022 Weight: 35 pounds Dog friendly: YES! She needs one in her forever home Cat friendly: Yes with dog savvy cats Kid friendly: Older kids only Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes when she can see other dogs **Needs another confident dog and physically fenced yard**  Addie is the sweetest little girl you’ll ever meet! She is nervous about new people at first, but will warm up after she realizes she's home and safe. She is such a little love bug who wants to cuddle and get pets. She happily lounges on the couch in the evening, getting snuggles. She needs another dog in the home to teach her how to be confident. She absolutely LOVES her doggo foster brother and playing with him, so another dog that wants to play is a must, as she needs that kind of relationship to blossom. She would cuddle up with her cat foster sister all of the time, so as long as the cat can handle her bursts of energy, she's a doll with them! Because of her fears, she needs a securely fenced yard to live her happiest life, and you'll see a different side of her when she's outside playing! She is potty trained and does well in a kennel for a full workday when you're gone. She's the easiest little girl because of her sweet demeanor and smartness. She keeps herself busy with toys during the day, so she'd be a great companion for anyone who works from home but is not required!  Once she's comfortable with you, we think she would be really great at agility or other training, too, so feel free to put her border collie abilities to the test! She gets really scared by sudden, loud noises and fast movements, so Addie would do best in a home without little kids. Other than that, she just wants all the love she can get from her people, dogs, and cats!  Adoption Fee: $495Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.INTERESTED IN MEETING ME?
