She stays right by your side at any pace and enjoys exploring the world calmly and confidently. She tolerates other dogs and does well with children, but her happiest life will be with a calm fur sibling in a quiet adult home. Brit recently had one eye removed after an unfortunate porcupine encounter, but she’s recovering beautifully and has shown zero aggression toward other animals while in care. 💵 Adoption Fee: $495

Age: Estimated DOB 6/29/25 Weight: 57 lbs Dog friendly: Yes, but prefers to live as an only dog Cat friendly: Unknown/not tested Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes **FENCED YARD REQUIRED** Hi there, I'm Gwynn – Your Future Best Friend! 🐾 I’m a 9-month-old pup with a heart full of love and a whole lot of happy energy. I’m ready to find my forever home—whether that’s with a person or a family—where I can share all my positive vibes and become your loyal companion. I’m a smart girl who already knows sit and down, and I’m working hard on stay. Like most young pups, I’ve got some playful energy, and when I meet new people I get excited and might bounce a little—but I’m polite and don’t jump on my new friends. One of my favorite people in the world is a 7-year-old neighbor who comes to play with me every day. I love to play with doggie friends. I live with three German Shepherds right now and at times have been reactive with them sharing our indoor space. As I have gotten more comfortable with the resident dogs, the reactivity has lessened. I’m still figuring out the world and what it means to feel completely safe, so sometimes I can get a little protective of my people. When that happens, I just need a moment to reset—and I’m already learning how to handle those feelings better every day. I would do best as the only dog in the household or with an experienced adopter that will be patient working with me. I’ve even had a fun adventure at a farm! I learned that horses are just really big dogs (once I got used to them), cows are kind of boring, and…well…chickens are still a little scary! But I’m curious and learning new things all the time. I’m not much of a barker—I prefer to show my love through actions, not noise. When it comes to food, I’m a slow eater. I’m making great progress with sharing and trust—I’m comfortable with people around my food—but I’d do best eating in my own space for now while I continue building confidence. I’m otherwise very easygoing, even sharing water bowls with other pups. At night, I’m super flexible—I’m happy to snuggle up in bed with you or sleep peacefully on a dog bed or in my crate (open or closed). My crate is my safe, cozy space. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and loyal companion who’s still growing and learning, I could be the perfect match for you. I promise to bring joy, laughter, and lots of tail wags into your life. Could you be my forever home? 💛 Adoption Fee: $395

Story
Jinx is a 10 year old border collie looking for a home where he can stay busy and challanged. He is smart, intense and has a high drive He needs a home with experience and interest in training. He is a very sweet boy who loves to snuggle as much as play! He is very loyal and wants to please his people. He is housebroken and crate trained. This boy loves to play fetch and can spend hours pushing balls around the yard! Jinx has lived with many dogs and has done well with most, but can be selective. He may do best as an only dog. He is not good with cats. Jinx is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, and microchipped. Jinx is not an easy dog, but he will be an amazing friend to the right family! Jinx is a courtesy post, please do not contact MUSHR but instead email his foster owner at megwagner@hotmail.com and include some information about your family. Jinx is fostered outside of the metro area, you must be willing to travel to meet him.

Story
Hi, my name is Harlan and I am from Arkansas! This is Harlan, the sweetest and most gentle dog. He’s extremely well-behaved, easygoing, and incredibly lovable. Harlan has a mellow personality and enjoys lounging outside and relaxing by your side. While he’s mostly calm and sleepy, he’ll occasionally spring into action with playful bursts of energy, especially if he spots a squirrel. He can be a bit shy, but with a little patience and time, his affectionate, playful, and loyal personality will shine through. He loves being around his people and will quickly become a devoted companion. Harlan isn’t the biggest fan of being left home alone or going on car rides, but with patience, time, and some training, these behaviors can likely improve.

Story
Acorn is a 10-week-old Border Collie mix and a very fast learner! Weighing in at 9 lbs now, he’s already showing how smart and eager to learn he is.He already knows how to sit and is learning to come when called. Acorn thrives on praise and treats, so training is a breeze. He’s going potty outside during the day and keeping his crate clean, though he may still use a pad overnight. He’s also starting to see the crate as his own safe space. He'll give a little whine when he’s ready for cuddles or when he needs a potty break!Acorn is great with other dogs and currently lives with two cats, not paying them much attention. He also does well with children.Acorn is full of playful puppy energy. He loves chew toys, squeaky toys, and a good game of fetch. As a Border Collie mix, he’ll benefit from regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep his sharp mind busy and happy.Acorn would do best in a home where he gets plenty of interaction, guidance, and playtime as he continues to grow and learn. If you’re looking for a smart, sweet, and playful companion, Acorn is ready for you!If you are interested in Acorn, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling - https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $550. Known as the friendliest pup of his litter, Puddle would absolutely win “best greeter” if it were a job—he’s always the first to say hello and make new friends. This happy, well-rounded puppy is as smart as he is lovable. Puddle already knows how to sit, and he’s doing great with potty training for his age. He settles well into his kenne alongside his littermates, and can keep his sleeping area clean overnight—an impressive start for such a young pup!Puddle is wonderful with kids of all ages, including toddlers, and does great with other dogs. He doesn't have experience with cats.Puddle loves games of fetch, squeaky toys, exploring, and playtime. When he’s not on the move, he’s just as content snuggling up with his humans. As a Border Collie mix, Puddle will need regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy and thriving.
