We were told that Mom is a heeler and dad is heeler / Aussie. But it looks like a Border Collie may have snuck in the mix! She currently weighs 22-25 pounds. She will likely be around 40-45 pounds as an adult. Some of the siblings were sold by the breeder to a pet store. Dane, Evie, Opal and Meg were “too old” to be sold and were surrendered to rescue. Meg likes other dog friends. She has not met cats. She’s just a baby so someone could intro her to one. She lives with elementary age kids. Meg is learning about toys and having fun. She is doing well on house or crate training. This is something her new family will need to continue to work on. She would do great in a basic training class to learn good things with a new family too. A little time and she is going to be your very best friend. *Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares. *We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly. This girl was found wondering around a business and was brought to us. She is friendly, happy but will be a good size dog when grown. She has not been in a house (that we know of), nor has been on a leash. She does okay in a crate and has no issues with other dogs. She is just a sweet girl who is now ready for a forever home. He’s very attentive, eager to please, and impressively easy to train—he picked up kennel training in just two days. Luke is affectionate and loves to give hugs, always looking to his people for reassurance and connection. He can be timid around other dogs, likely due to past experiences as a stray; when he was found, he had bite marks and a wound on his leg, all of which have since healed. Despite everything he’s been through, Luke’s gratitude for being rescued shines through in everything he does. He’s eager to learn, eager to love, and would make a wonderful companion. Despite being one of the smallest pups in her litter, she was the first one to figure out the ramp from the deck to the yard. Hi, I’m Aspen! I'm a boy with a gentle spirit and a big heart that’s on the hunt for a family to share it with. Whether you're looking for a playful companion or a snuggle bug, I'm your guy! I am a world-class couch cuddler and a big fan of toys. I love collecting them all in my bed in case I want to come back to them later! Some of my favorite things include eating yummy treats, running around outside, and playing with other dogs. I would love to have a friendly dog in my forever home to learn the ropes from. I'm pretty shy in new environments, but with a handful of treats and a little bit of patience, my hesitant exterior melts away. Odin is a 5 year olds, neutered male black bi Australian Shepherd. He is 37 pounds, housebroke, good with cats, and likes people but is bit nervous around strangers. He does pull on leash some, is well mannered in the house and can sit, down and shake. Odin is currently living in a foster with 6 other dogs with no issues. Odin was a transfer from a shelter in Iowa due to the fact that he has issues with body handling and needs some work in cooperative care to get him comfortable with grooming and vet visits. His foster is working on muzzle training and desensitizing him to brushing. Odin is very treat motivated and loves his training sessions on the grooming table. Scroll down on our facebook to see a live session on cooperative care using Odin as a demo. In that video I mention that Odin is headed to a new home. We took him there but the resident dog and Odin decided very quickly that they did not want to share a home and he came back to his foster the same day. Good with cats: yes Good with kids: likely not due to issues with bodily handling. Older kids would be fine. All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. She currently weighs about 15 pounds. She will likely be around 25 pounds as an adult. The rest of Tilly’s siblings were sold by the breeder to a pet store. They didn’t take Tilly because she is missing half of one ear. We think that just makes her extra cute! You may remember Tilly being posted several months ago. Unfortunately, she was dropped by an adult during a meet and greet, resulting in four broken bones in her foot. Tilly went through weeks of casting and bandage changes, and thankfully, her foot is now completely healed. She is continuing to gain strength and mobility after months of crate rest. Her new family will need to ensure that she remains active and is not allowed to become obese. Tilly likes other nice dog friends. She requests a home with a doggie best friend if possible! She currently lives with Meg and several resident dogs. She lives with older, dog savvy kids as well. Tilly will not be a good candidate for a home with very young children who could re-injure her leg. Tilly is crate trained and house trained when kept on a schedule. She would do great in a basic training class to learn good things with a new family too. Eunice came to rescue from Animal Control. She is a spayed female black tri Australian Shepherd, approximately a little over a year old. Eunice is a high energy dog whose foster has worked hard on her tendency to jump on people, so this behavior is much more controlled. She will sit and lie down on command as it is her opinion that these are fun tricks to do! She loves her stuffed toys but does have to monitored when she has them as to not shred them to pieces. (This is why we can't have nice things Eunice... you need to be nice to your toys if you want them to last Eunice...) She loves to be pet and talked to - her foster has been working on her house manners, observing her to be well-intentioned but a diamond in the rough. She needs a home that will enjoy training her and she loves to learn. She does have an off switch - she will enjoy herself on the deck and watch the birds. She loves her crate and has learned to "wait" to come out. She also was recently groomed and was a very good girl for the groomer.
