Story
Yasha and Beau are sisters were found on a highway. My son adopted them and when they were kittens they got along well with my cat but since he moved back last May they are not getting along at all and my son developed allergy so they can’t sleep in his room. I don’t have a place for them so I need to rehome them. Yasha is an outgoing personality and talks loves to be petted and loves to play very smart but she is territorial it seems and very protective of her sister Beau. Beau is very peaceful and shy but loves to play and loves to eat.

Story
Freddie is an adorable, sweet and loving cat that enjoys playing and being cuddled. He’s gentle, loves lots of attention and gets along with everyone, including dogs. Sadly I am no longer able to keep him because I’m moving. I’m looking for a safe and nurturing new home for him.

Nancy is an international rescue; she came from Kabul Afghanistan. Nancy is bonded with her son Sid. Sid is aggressive towards other cats. So since Nancy and Sid need to be adopted together, they cannot go to a home with other cats. She was born in June 2019. She has been spayed, tested negative for FiV/FeLV, and has been microchipped. Her vaccines will be updated prior to adoption.

Story
Aren't I a pretty lady? It's not just me that thinks so, I get told all the time. It gives me a lot of confidence when I deal with strangers. Please ask first before petting me. I like a little warning before my space is invaded. Sometimes I am just not in the mood, but a lot of the time I enjoy a good head scratch. When I was found outside I was pregnant and almost ready to give birth. A nice lady took me inside so that my babies weren't born in a gutter. I was a great mom, but the hormones and constantly being touched, bitten, and grabbed at by the kittens made me crazy! I raised four healthy kittens but thank goodness that will never happen again! I am spayed now and up to date on my vaccines. I also tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia (if you are interested). I learned one thing for certain-- I am not mother-material. All those mewing, crying little rug rats-not for me! Give me a warm afternoon, a big window, peace and quiet, and a good meal (I love to eat fancy feast) and I am happy as a clam. I have been a little lonely lately. I have a room all to myself-don't like other cats-- but lately I've been bored. My foster mom works a lot of hours and can't spend much quality time with me. That is why I am writing this note. I am looking for a new home with one or two adult humans. I have no patience for kids-- human or feline. The humans should have lives of their own and not expect me to be their sole source of entertainment, but they should have time during the day to sit with me. If you mind your manners I would be happy to spend the afternoon with you. Sometimes my foster mom and I take a nap together. I like to talk, especially when it's time to be fed-- I will give you a beautiful melody of chirping. I have good litter box manners (of course, I am a lady after all). I only eat wet food-- Fancy feast classic. Dry food makes me gain weight. Now that I have lost the pregnancy weight, I don't want to ever go through the ordeal of dieting again! Now you know a little about me, tell me about yourself. Can you give me the new home I am looking for? Please note: 4Paws will only consider local adoptions (Northern VA / DC / MD metropolitan area). 4Paws does not adopt to students. All kittens under 6mos of age must be adopted into a home that already has another young cat/kitten; otherwise, must be adopted in pairs with a littermate. **************************************** Please e-mail us if you're interested in Francesca. Be sure to include your phone number in your message. Please limit inquiries to the Greater Washington, DC area, except for barn cats.

Story
Meet Black Jack: a handsome little guy preparing for the next season of the Great British Bake Off. He’s an enthusiastic kneader who clocks a daily biscuit shift after playtime. Feather wands and small toys get him moving, and life's daily curiosities have him popping up on his hind legs like a meerkat. As a bonus, he's even considerate and prefers his cardboard scratchers over your furniture. Black Jack was returned to 4Paws when allergies and a busy home made it hard for him to thrive, but with a pet allergist's plan he's doing great. Like any good baker, Black Jack can follow a recipe: his allergies are well controlled with a twice-daily pill that he takes without fuss, and pill pockets have also worked smoothly when needed. Black Jack will flourish as the only cat in a calm home where he can be the star of the kitchen. Give him room to roam, toys to chase, and a comfortable spot beside you, and he’ll bring you a consistent mix of playtime, cuddles, and, of course, freshly made biscuits. Black Jack could also share a home with a laid back cat who does not mind him taking charge. His estimated date of birth is January 2018. He is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
