We found Gracie riding next to a car engine. She does not like our other cat but does not hurt her. My biggest concern is that I'm her "person". No one goes near her but me. She only likes to be touched when I am lying on the bed. A bit anxious.

Nancy and her son Sid came to 4Paws from Kabul. They are bonded and need to be adopted together. Sid is friendly only with his mother, he is aggressive toward other cats so the pair cannot go to an adoptive home with resident cats. Nancy and Sid play a lot, chasing each other down a long hallway. Nancy is spayed, tested negative for FiV/FeLV, and is micro chipped. She is pending vet work for an exam and vaccines.

Captain Tugg — Male, Estimated DOB April 2023 Captain Tugg—affectionately known as Tuggy—is one of the most delightful boy kitties you could ever hope to meet. As his foster family, we can say without hesitation that this sweet boy has completely captured our hearts. Tuggy is a gentle, affectionate companion who loves being brushed, adores laser‑light games, and happily plays with any and all cat toys. He gets along wonderfully with our four resident cats and even our older 90‑pound dog. Recently, he’s started sleeping with us, proving himself to be a true “sleeper kitty”—curled up at the end of the bed, purring contentedly through the night. He enjoys simple affection just as much as playtime. Tuggy purrs nonstop when petted, loves being held, and melts when you scratch under his jaw. He is perfectly litter‑box trained and has never had an accident. He has a healthy appetite and absolutely lives for treat time. Captain Tugg does need a little extra love and care. He currently has kidney issues and is on a special renal diet. He also receives subcutaneous fluids every other day, which he handles like a champ—calm, patient, and cooperative. His new family will need to be able to be willing to give subcutaneous fluids. Medically, Captain Tugg is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and FELV/FIV negative. If you’re looking for a sweet, happy, deeply loyal kitty who will be by your side, purring, playing, and loving you every day, Captain Tugg is your perfect match. He will absolutely melt your heart.

If you loved Toothless the dragon, you’ll get Mika’s personality. You can hold your hand out, but she’s the one who says whether you can pet or not—if she rubs your hand, she’s ready for love. After she gets to know you, she will love to sit in your lap, snuggle with you in bed, and nap nearby during the day. She is an active, curious girl and isn’t still for long unless she’s asleep, but she is good at amusing herself with toys and doesn’t need constant attention. She loves Temptations treats and is clever about finding them. She does well with a treat dispenser she has to figure out. Mika can get along with other cats but plays rough and will need a gradual introduction. She is a bit of an introvert so needs a space of her own to retreat to when she gets overwhelmed. She needs a home without small children or dogs. Mika’s estimated birth date is November 2023. She has been spayed and is current on vaccines and has been microchipped.

Aren't I a pretty lady? It's not just me that thinks so, I get told all the time. It gives me a lot of confidence when I deal with strangers. Please ask first before petting me. I like a little warning before my space is invaded. Sometimes I am just not in the mood, but a lot of the time I enjoy a good head scratch. When I was found outside I was pregnant and almost ready to give birth. A nice lady took me inside so that my babies weren't born in a gutter. I was a great mom, but the hormones and constantly being touched, bitten, and grabbed at by the kittens made me crazy! I raised four healthy kittens but thank goodness that will never happen again! I am spayed now and up to date on my vaccines. I also tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia (if you are interested). I learned one thing for certain-- I am not mother-material. All those mewing, crying little rug rats-not for me! Give me a warm afternoon, a big window, peace and quiet, and a good meal (I love to eat fancy feast) and I am happy as a clam. I have been a little lonely lately. I have a room all to myself-don't like other cats-- but lately I've been bored. My foster mom works a lot of hours and can't spend much quality time with me. That is why I am writing this note. I am looking for a new home with one or two adult humans. I have no patience for kids-- human or feline. The humans should have lives of their own and not expect me to be their sole source of entertainment, but they should have time during the day to sit with me. If you mind your manners I would be happy to spend the afternoon with you. Sometimes my foster mom and I take a nap together. I like to talk, especially when it's time to be fed-- I will give you a beautiful melody of chirping. I have good litter box manners (of course, I am a lady after all). I only eat wet food-- Fancy feast classic. Dry food makes me gain weight. Now that I have lost the pregnancy weight, I don't want to ever go through the ordeal of dieting again! Miracle earned her name by the unusual path she followed to rescue. Miracle was trapped with her mom at 8 weeks old. For some unexplained reason, the clinic chose to spay her and not only return Miracle outside without notifying the trapper, but released her at the wrong location! Almost two weeks after being released, and when hope was almost lost, Miracle was recovered! She was taken into foster, nursed back to health from her unexpected adventure, and is now ready to find her forever home. Miracle is very sweet and affectionate. She loves being held and petted. Wand toys are her favorite and she loves playing with the other foster kittens. Miracle would love to have one or more playful, gentle kitty siblings to play and cuddle with. She cannot be adopted as a single.
