Meet Phoenix! Age: Adult | Breed: Domestic Medium Hair | Color: Black | Good With: Other Cats Dark, handsome, and full of quiet charm — meet Phoenix, a stunning medium-haired black cat with a personality as captivating as his sleek, midnight coat. Phoenix may take a little time to warm up when he first meets you, but give him the space to settle in and get comfortable, and what you'll discover is absolutely worth the wait. Once Phoenix decides you're worthy of his trust, his true personality steps into the spotlight. He's easygoing, independent, and wonderfully laid-back — the kind of cat who moves through life entirely on his own terms and somehow makes it look effortlessly cool. He loves to explore every corner of his space, and fair warning — if you're not keeping an eye on him, this curious boy will absolutely find a little mischief to get into. Cuddles with Phoenix are something truly special, because they happen when he decides it's time — and that makes them all the more meaningful. Pick him up and he'll go completely limp in your arms, melting into you with a purr that could fill the whole room. He loves to tuck his head against your legs or arms and just soak up the closeness. Let him nibble your fingers, but rub that belly and get ready — play mode is officially activated. When he's not exploring or sneaking into trouble, you'll likely find Phoenix doing one of his favorite things — tracking down every sunny spot in the house and claiming it as his own personal throne. This boy takes his sunbathing very seriously. Phoenix also plays wonderfully with other cats. He's respectful of boundaries, never pushy, and happy to join in the fun if a feline friend invites him to play. He's truly a gentleman. If you're looking for a handsome, independent, and deeply affectionate cat who cuddles on his own schedule and brightens every sunny corner of your home — Phoenix is ready to make his way into your heart. Come meet him today!       Adoption fee: $200 includes first 2 FVRCP vaccines, sterilized, dewormed, flea preventatives, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Pipa – The Princess with a Playful Side! If you're looking for a kitten who is as beautiful as she is entertaining, Pipa is your girl! This gorgeous little lady is a uniquely colored tabby with beautiful light beige markings on her face, mixed with soft gray and white speckles. Her unusual coloring makes her truly one of a kind—and she knows it! Pipa may be a princess, but she's definitely a playful princess. Her absolute favorite activity is chasing the feather-and-bell toy on a stick. She rolls, jumps, bats, pounces, and does everything she can to catch it. Once the game begins, Pipa is completely determined to conquer that feather! She also loves good old-fashioned kitten wrestling. Her brothers Pepper and Piper are her favorite playmates, and the three of them can often be found chasing, tumbling, wrestling, and generally having a wonderful time together. Pipa is a confident little girl who knows exactly how to keep her brothers entertained! When she's not busy ruling the kitten kingdom, Pipa enjoys being petted and spending time with her people. She's currently receiving medication twice a day, which she's not particularly thrilled about—because, after all, princesses should not have to take medicine! But considering she's already been to the veterinarian three times, she's doing remarkably well. The veterinary office is an especially challenging environment, with barking dogs, lots of people, and plenty of noise and commotion, yet Pipa continues to handle it like a champ. At home, she's happiest when she can play, explore, climb, and spend time with her feline family. Pipa would love a home with another playful kitten, and she would be especially happy to go home with one of her brothers. A feline friend will give this energetic girl someone to chase, wrestle with, and curl up beside after a busy day of princess duties. Beautiful, spirited, affectionate, and just a little bit demanding—Pipa is definitely a princess, and she's looking for a family willing to treat her accordingly!   It is Fancy Cats’ policy to not adopt kittens singly without another young and/or playful dog or cat in the home. Adoption fee: $350, includes first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip     If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Love Bug – All He Needs Is Someone to Believe in Him Love Bug didn't end up in a shelter because he stopped loving people. He was abandoned in Baltimore County and eventually found safety when Fancy Cats welcomed him from the shelter. We don't know what happened before that or why he was left behind, but one thing is clear—someone must have loved him once, because beneath his cautious exterior is one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet. Love Bug is a little shy when meeting new people. We also believe he may have some hearing loss, so unfamiliar situations can be a little confusing for him. He simply needs a patient person who will let him realize that they're a friend. And once he does... His whole world changes. The walls come down, the purrs begin, and Love Bug leans into every gentle pet with complete trust. He absolutely loves affection and blossoms into the loving companion his name promises. His favorite thing is being close to someone who makes him feel safe. Love Bug isn't asking for a perfect home. He's asking for a kind one. A home where someone understands that trust takes time. A home where gentle hands replace uncertainty. A home where he'll never again have to wonder if he's wanted. His name couldn't be more fitting. Once you've earned his heart, Love Bug gives it completely. He has so much love waiting to share with the person who gives him the chance he's been longing for. If you believe that the best relationships are the ones built on patience, kindness, and trust, Love Bug may be the companion you've been searching for. He's waited long enough for a family of his own. Now all he needs is someone to say, "You're finally home." Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
I'm a handsome orange tabby boy with a warm heart, a friendly face, and four years of experience perfecting the art of being a great companion. If you've ever heard people say that orange cats are special, they're absolutely right. We're known for our big personalities, affectionate nature, and ability to bring a little extra sunshine into every day. I like to think I'm a pretty good example of that. I'm neutered, negative for FeLV and FIV, current on all my vaccines, and ready to start the next chapter of my life with a family of my own. Whether you're looking for a buddy to keep you company while you work, a couch companion for movie nights, or a friendly face to greet you when you come home, I'd be happy to volunteer for the job. My dream home isn't complicated. I'd love a cozy spot to nap, a few sunny windows to watch the world go by, and a family who will appreciate all the love an orange tabby has to give. In return, I promise plenty of companionship, quiet moments together, and the kind of loyalty that makes a house feel like home. If you've been thinking about adding a little orange magic to your life, I hope you'll come meet me. I may just be the best friend you've been waiting for. Story
Meet Coco, your new tortie best friend! Coco came to us from a shelter with her five nursing kittens, and after being such a wonderful mama, she’s more than ready for some time to be spoiled herself! Coco is laid-back, friendly, and wonderfully chatty. She’s the kind of girl who likes to keep you company and may have a few things to say about what’s happening around the house. Her favorite pastime? Finding a sunny window and settling in for a little warmth and relaxation. ☀️ And yes, she’s a tortie, which means she comes with all the classic tortie charm: a little sass, a lot of personality, and an unmistakable flair for making sure life is never boring. She’s confident enough to have an opinion, but sweet enough to make you smile when she shares it. After raising five kittens, Coco is ready for her next chapter—one filled with sunny windows, cozy naps, plenty of conversation, and a family who will love her for the wonderfully unique girl she is. ❤️ Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Oso! Oso is a wonderful, playful boy who is looking for a forever family to call his own. Full of personality and charm, Oso's favorite things in life are chasing a ball, batting around a piece of string, and then settling down beside his favorite person for a well-earned cuddle. This handsome guy is incredibly social and loves to 'talk.' Oso is constantly trilling, chirping, and carrying on conversations with both humans and feline friends. If he's looking for attention or trying to convince someone to play, you'll definitely hear about it! Oso is an active cat who enjoys interactive play and would do best with a playful feline companion. Having spent part of his life outdoors, he can sometimes get a little enthusiastic during playtime, so he needs a confident cat friend who enjoys companionship and can set clear boundaries when needed. When Oso finds a buddy he clicks with, the two can entertain each other for hours. After an exciting play session, Oso appreciates having some quiet time to decompress before he's ready for more fun. He also loves the simple pleasures in life—stretching out in a sunny spot, exploring cardboard boxes, and curling up beside his people for a nap. Oso does not get along with dogs and would be happiest either as an only pet receiving plenty of attention or in a home with a compatible feline companion. Healthy, affectionate, and full of life, Oso is ready to leave his outdoor days behind and become someone's cherished lifelong companion. If you're looking for a playful, loving cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Oso may be the perfect match for you. Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
