Note: Pantera and Tigress need to be adopted as a pair.  Pantera's Personality DOB: 3/31/26 Pantera is a little panther. She has a sleek and shiny black coat - perfect for petting. Like her sister, Tigress, Pantera is VERY friendly, affectionate, curious and adventurous. She LOVES people and runs to greet you when you enter her space. She is not shy one bit. Pantera doesn't have a care in the world - she settled into her foster home immediately. When she's done playing, she LOVES being petted, curls up by your side and immediately turns on her purr motor. She is easy to pick up and carry around although if she's in playmode, she will wiggle for you to put her down so she can chase all of the imaginary things in her world. Pantera ADORES her sister, Tigress (posted separately) - her partner in crime! They love to play together - chasing and wrestling with each other. They often sleep curled up next to each other and sometimes groom each other demonstrating their bond. Turn on a battery operated toy and she will be occupied for a long time. When Pantera is not playing or snoozing, she loves sitting in the window and watching the world go by. What Type of Home They Need These sisters need a forever home where they have plenty of room to run around and explore. They also need plenty of love and affection. They will do best in a home with more than one person because they have so much energy. A family with older kids (about 8 years or older) would be great to keep them entertained! Felipe's Personality DOB: 2/2025 Felipe is a young, friendly, and playful grey and white tabby. He has cute black toe beans and looks like he’s wearing black lipstick and eyeliner! He LOVES other cats and needs a cat buddy in his forever home. In Felipe’s typical day, he engages one of his two foster “brothers” in chase-and-wrestle games until his brother wears out! Felipe is respectful of his older foster “brother,” who sometimes tries to show Felipe who is “boss.” Felipe loves to play in his “cat tunnel” and chase a toy on a fishing pole. He enjoys pouncing and wrestling with your hand that’s hidden under a blanket. He also likes to hide behind a bedspread and ambush you playfully as you walk past. When playtime is done, Felipe likes to watch the wildlife outside his sunroom window and nap there. Felipe is not shy one bit and settled into is foster home quickly. Never hiding and wanting to explore. He has a quiet meow and rarely speaks. In foster care, he is becoming more affectionate. When first rescued, Felipe was comfortable being petted only when eating. But more and more, he enjoys petting and is getting use to being picked up for short periods of time. His foster mom is confident he will become a true love bug in the right loving home. Type of Home Felipe Needs Felipe is a young, strong cat who needs an experienced cat caretaker who wants to play with him for about an hour a day and is patient about letting him learn to enjoy more affection. He needs another young male cat in his forever home to bond and play with. He may do ok with an older cat-savvy child (12 years or older) who plays with him. No younger children now or in the future. Where Felipe Came From Felipe was found outdoors by a kind family with 3 cats and 2 dogs of their own. Champ's Personality DOB: 1/2025 Note: Champ is being treated for asthma. He's a good boy about getting his current twice daily "puff" of Fluticasone via an Aerokat inhaler. We don't know yet if he will need this treatment long-term or if his initial several month trial can be discontinued later on. His adoption fee is waived. Meet Champ...a playful, affectionate, talkative brown tabby with golden eyes! What’s not to fall in love with? Be prepared for a kitty who follows you around and plops down next to you. Not to worry...if you are wondering where he has wandered off to in your home, just call his name and he's back to you in an instant.  Champ loves being around people - he greets you when you come home and even says hello to your guests! He loves being petted and showing you his belly. Champ also thrives on interactive playtime - especially chasing string toys, carrying little balls around in his mouth, and batting toys around. He snuggles with you in bed at night and is good about sleeping through most of the night. What Type of Home Champ Needs Champ needs a home where he gets plenty of people time. He's a young playful male cat who needs stimulation...interactive play, brushing, and ongoing interaction. He's social, playful and full of personality - an ideal companion for people who want an engaging cat. We haven't seen him interact with kids but he would likely do fine with kids who know how to interact with cats (about 8 years of age or older). We also think Champ would thrive in a home with another young playful male cat. He had a few brief interactions with the older cats in his first foster home with the woman who rescued him from outdoors. Her cats are elderly and not receptive to other cats...but Champ was persistent in wanting to interact with them. Where Champ Came From Champ was a stray kitty found outdoors crying for food and affection. Although he ran right up to the woman who found him, he was also very scared and would hide after eating or hearing a loud noise. He clearly didn't belong outdoors. Mango's Personality DOB: 1/1/26 Note: Mango NEEDS a young, playful MALE cat buddy in his forever home.  Mango is a very handsome orange and white tabby with big green eyes. He is a social and playful guy who loves being around people. Mango trots over to greet everyone who comes his way, stranger or not. He settles in for a nap on a warm lap (or chest if you’re horizontal) once he's done playing or exploring. He likes being carried around for short periods of time and is quick to purr. Mango enjoys being petted, but like many cats, lets you know when he has had enough. The same goes with playing. He chases a mouse on a string, bats a ball around the floor, or plays with interactive toys for a while, but then walks away like he has better things to do! Mango can get a little over stimulated when petting or when you walk by - he may grab your leg. This tells us he needs plenty of interaction - activity around him, toys to play with and a kitty friend. Mango loves his cat tree and spends hours on the top perch napping or looking out the window. He also loves running water and likes to stand outside the bathroom to let you know he wants in - so he can jump up on the counter and drink while not caring that he is immersing his head in the water getting soaking wet! What Type of Home Mango Needs Mango needs a home with multiple people who are available to hang out with him. He is not demanding, but likes to be near people. Like most young male cats, Mango needs a like-minded male kitty to bond and play with. Mango sometimes nips or grabs your hands to let you know  he has had enough petting or playing or tries to get your attention. This behavior will subside once he has a cat buddy to occupy his time. He may do ok with an older cat-savvy child (over about 12 years of age) as long as he also has a cat buddy to play with. No young children now or in the future. Where Mango Came From Mango was a stray kitty who was trying to get inside an office building when a kind woman encountered him outdoors. Of course, this kitty - only about 6 months old at the time - had no business being outdoors. Additional information available. Ginger's Personality Estimated DOB: 12/1/2025 Ginger is a sweet, curious girl, both shy and brave. A devoted “Velcro kitty,” she stays close to her favorite humans, following you around, and settling nearby to see what you’re doing. After you shower, you may find her curled up on the bathmat—just before she climbs into the tub to investigate. Ginger is cautious around new people at first, but once she knows you, she greets you at every turn. And, even though Ginger loves being near her people, she easily entertains herself with interactive toys while her humans are busy, asleep, or away from home. Ginger trills to herself while exploring and playing and softly meows when she wants something. After a nap, she loves a long stretch and a roll, looking up at you upside down with her expressive mint-green eyes. Ginger enjoys cheek rubs, chin scratches, petting and brushing. She rubs against your legs with her tail held high to show affection—or to remind you it’s mealtime! Ginger’s playful antics will make you smile. She ducks into her tunnels, convinced she’s hidden, before pouncing on her pink mouse or chasing a laser dot or battery-powered toy. This clever kitty also enjoys food puzzles and watching birds and squirrels on CatTV. When she’s finished supervising you or playing, Ginger enjoys snoozing in a cozy spot or watching the world from her window perch. Type of Home Ginger Needs Ginger needs loving, gentle people who know how to help her feel safe and give her a little time to settle in. She needs a cozy hiding place at first where she can retreat while building confidence. Once she feels secure, her curiosity leads her to explore and enjoy her entire domain. She needs a quieter home with no young children or other pets now or in the future. Where Ginger Came From Ginger was born outdoors and initially considered a “community cat.” With help from a kind family, this brave little girl survived a cold, snowy winter. She gave birth to three kittens (all rescued and adopted), when she was just a few months old herself! While still living outdoors, Ginger sadly endured a neck wound that developed into an abscess. Along the way, it was discovered Ginger is a sweet, social girl who didn’t belong outdoors.
