Story

Kiki is a 12 lb., 3-year-old sweet girl. She came to us pregnant and in need of a safe place to deliver and take care of her puppies. All her puppies are in their forever homes and now it's her turn. She is low key and shy at first meeting. She is learning leash walking and doing well but in need of some continued training. She loves to play with toys and all her buddies at our rescue facility. She will make a great little companion doggie. As with all our dogs we highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure proper training. This super sweet girl is looking for her forever home. The adoption fee is $400 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed). Lucky was adopted at the OC Animal Care, in December of 2016. He is currently nine years old. He is a very calm house dog and likes to sit on your lap. He is house trained, playful and tolerant with kids. We are hoping to find someone that can give him the time and affection that he needs right now. A loving and caring home. Story

Raffi was living a lonely life on the streets and was so scared when he was rescued by Hope For Paws Rescue. They chased him for quite some time before they were finally able to catch him. We teamed up with Hope For Paws to help find Raffi his forever home. Raffi is shy with people he does not know but warms up once he gets to know you and feels safe. It does take him time to come out of his shell so he will need someone who is patient. He has limited hearing but he can hear louder sounds. He will need an experienced owner as he needs guidance and someone to build his confidence. Raffi loves other dogs and he will need a home with another confident dog that he can watch and learn from. He is good with cats too. He will need a calm household where he is not left for long hours and no young children but calm older children are okay. Raffi loves to go on walks and rides well in the car. Raffi is about 8-9 years old and weighs 9 pounds. In September 2021, Raffi was diagnosed with a mild heart murmur caused by early stage mitral valve disease. He was seen by a cardiologist in late September 2021 and again in for a recheck in June 2022 where he got an echocardiogram. He does not need any medication or treatment at this time but will need annual check-ups with a cardiologist to monitor his heart. Raffi is also fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, flea/heartworm treated. And Raffi just had a full vet exam, senior blood panel with thyroid test, urinalysis, heartworm test, fecal test, dental cleaning, mouth x-rays and chest x-rays in September 2022 so he should not need any vetting at this time. If you are serious about adopting Raffi and have a vet near you willing to work with our rescue, we will cover his vetting and cardiology. Or you can take him to our vet in the Los Angeles area for his vetting and cardiology needs.

Adoption Fee $75. Hammer is the sweetest girl with such a lovely personality! She is a parvo survivor and gave us a few scares but she was able to pull through and is now a happy healthy girl! She will pretty much eat anything you put infront of her she is not picky at all! She is great with all people, dogs and kids. We have not cat tested her but we can on request. Hammer is such a love bug and she loves her people and cuddling up. She is a smart girl that we have had since she was born and now 7 months old! Her mom came to us pregnant and her mom was a Bull Terrier, we have no idea who dad was. She is wondering when she will finally find her forever home. She can get a little territorial over her food and toys but nothing to be concerned much about its nothing severe. She loves to play with other dogs shes not the most gentle but we also wouldnt consider her as a rough player either just right in the middle! She will pretty much play with any toy that you give her she doesn't care if it's a hard toy, more of a bone like toy, or a stuffy. She loves them all! Overall, Hammer is an amazing puppy that will be that perfect medium size. Not too big, not too little!
