Mile had a rough start spending the first years of his life living in a backyard. That has not stopped him from settling right in to his foster home where he has doggie friends and gets to snuggle on the couch. He does love to explore the yard and lay in the sun but then happily comes back inside. He loves his doggie friends but will also entertain himself by throwing a toy and chasing it. So Cute! Rescued as a stray. This little guy is cute and low maintenance - meaning he's not a demanding dog and gets along with other members of the pack, same size and never causes trouble. We do not do out-of-state adoptions. We do not hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog at a mutually agreeable appointment day, time & place. Usually Petsmart Yorba Linda or our Santa Ana location near South Coast Plaza. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.

Ben and Jerry were found wandering the streets in Midway City by a kind gentleman who corralled them and brought them to AALOC. They are brothers and are completely bonded so they cannot be separated. If you are looking for a pair of dogs as an addition to your family, Ben and Jerry would be just the right double scoop of love. Ben and Jerry are very young Dachshund mix dogs, full of life and affection. They are small in size, about 15 pounds each, and they love to walk and play together. They are housebroken and play well with other dogs. Overall they are very well-behaved young dogs available for adoption by a loving family. Once your application is reviewed and approved we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Ben and Jerry and get to know them a bit.
