Story
Please welcome Tiny Kobe!  Kobe is a 7 pound miniature dachschund mix.  Kobe is new to our rescue, so we are still getting to know him, but here is everything we have learned so far: Kobe is young, possibly younger than one year.  He has alot of spunk and is a funloving and playful dog/puppy.  Kobe is very affectionate and loving, but also energetic, so would be best for a home that has the time and energy to properly help him grow up and become a responsible adult!  Kobe is available now for foster or foster to adopt.     We are currently in the process of potty training, and Kobe is doing well, but his adopters need to be willing to continue his training.   Kobe is an absolute sweetheart and very much still a puppy.  Shelter estimated his age at approx 1 year old, but he may be somewhat younger.   Kobe's adopter will need to continue basic puppy training, housetraining and the basics. All references to breeds are based on our best guess. More photos and video will be uploaded very soon! Due to his small size, we are looking for a home with older kids that understand how delicate small dogs are, or adult home.   ##2756802##

Story
Meet Oscar   Oscar is a very special boy who has made incredible progress and continues to blossom in the right environment. We are so proud of how far he has come.   Oscar is completely deaf, and while imaging (CT/MRI) shows no structural defects, we suspect there may be some additional neurological impact from a past accident — or he may simply have been born this way. What we do know is that Oscar experiences the world a little differently… and he does it with a huge heart.   He thrives on routine and predictability. A consistent schedule helps him feel safe and confident. He loves food, adores cozying up by a fireplace in the winter, enjoys baths, and is happily crate trained. He also loves playing with his buddy Phineas.   Oscar continues to work through anxiety around strangers. He is not a dog who will immediately greet new people — he needs time and space. Typically, it takes about a day for him to feel comfortable enough to take a treat from someone new. Within 1–2 days, he’ll happily sit beside a new person on the couch — as long as they allow him to initiate touch. Once he chooses you, his affection is deep and genuine. He is incredibly loving and very sensitive.   Because he is deaf, he can miss social cues from other dogs. When excited, he runs with pure joy — sometimes barreling through the house without much awareness of who might be in his path. He can become overstimulated and may push past other dogs if he wants something. He also fiercely guards high-value treats. However, he responds well to clear boundaries and hand signals, including a firm “no” signal from his person.   Oscar does not chase cats.   He would do best in a calm, structured home with an experienced adopter who understands shy or neurologically unique dogs. An adult-only home or one without frequent visitors would be ideal. He could thrive as an only dog, or with another easygoing dog of similar age and energy level who can tolerate Oscar’s excitement and doesn’t take offense to his occasional social awkwardness.   Oscar is not a “plug-and-play” dog — he is a relationship dog. He bonds deeply. He feels deeply. And in the right home, with patience and routine, he will give a loyalty and love that is truly extraordinary.   If you believe that some of the most special dogs are the ones who need just a little extra understanding, Oscar may be your heart dog.   ##2359017##

Story
Meet Finley & Wilson – A Bonded Mother-Daughter Duo Looking for Their Forever Home! Finley (6 years old, on the right) and her daughter Wilson (4 years old, on the left) are two adorable, sweet girls who are searching for a loving home together. Unfortunately, through no fault of their own, Finley and Wilson are being returned to the rescue and are once again looking for a family to call their own. We are committed to finding them a loving, stable home where they can stay together forever. These wonderful pups are completely housebroken, well-mannered, and quiet. They only bark to alert you when someone is at the front door. Their bond is truly special—they are inseparable and love being together. Both Finley and Wilson are affectionate snuggle-bugs whose favorite pastime is cuddling on the couch with their people. If you’re looking for loyal companions who will happily curl up beside you and shower you with love, these girls are the perfect match. They are both in excellent health and have never experienced any significant health issues. They have been well cared for and are ready to bring joy, companionship, and plenty of cuddles to their new family. Finley and Wilson are looking for a caring home where they will be loved and cherished for the rest of their lives. In return, they will reward their family with endless affection, loyalty, and companionship. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this amazing bonded pair, Finley and Wilson would love to meet you! Can you foster? We are also looking for a foster home to help these girls while they wait for their forever family. Story
Chance and his siblings were born on approximately 11/27/25. They came to the rescue from a hoarding situation. The puppies are playful, sweet, healthy and love attention. They do well with other dogs and cats. They would do best in a home with older kids and adults as they are a small breed. As always, we do highly recommend positive reinforcement training to insure a well-rounded and well-behaved puppy/dog. The adoption fee is $650 which includes: spay/neuter, microchipping with registration, up to date on vaccines, rabies vaccine (for dogs and pups over 4 months at time of alter), deworming, and topical flea treatment application (as needed). If interested in one if our dogs or puppies, please email pardonmeinc@yahoo.com for information and adoption questionnaire. Our animals can be seen by appointment only after approved application process. Please email to make sure the animal you are interested in is still available and/or will be attending or on-site adoption event. No phone calls please.  If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please send all inquiries to pardonmeinc@yahoo.com. **********FOSTER HOMES NEEDED************ We are always looking for loving foster homes for new arrivals! Please contact us at pardonmeinc@yahoo.com if you would be interested in fostering. KM March 8, 2026, 5:45 pm
