Story
I've had Gigi for about 5 years after adopting her from my sister, who had her as a puppy in California. She's now around 5-6 years old and has lived with me in both Washington and California. Gigi travels very well and loves long car rides, especially when she can look for squirrels. She needs plenty of exercise and does great on hikes, long walks, and even running alongside a skateboard or bike. She has always lived with other dogs (large and small), cats, and children and does well with all. She was once attacked by another dog and needed stitches but fully recovered. She does need to be watched around trash, as she once ate something dangerous and required emergency surgery, which she also fully recovered from. Gigi is high energy but past the puppy stage, loves toys, and tug-of-war is her favorite. She needs a dedicated home that can give her proper exercise, structure, and lots of love.

Story
We acquired Rosie from a breeder in San Diego. Rosie is a Cavalier King Charles/ Toy Poodle. She is a wonderful dog, still very much a puppy. She turned 1 year old in November of 2025. Unfortunately she does not get along with our senior cat. She is constantly chasing her around and causing her stress and illness. I also struggled with housetraining her, though she has improved and I think capable of being fully housetrained. Rosie is a very sweet and friendly dog. She would be great with kids and other people. She is wonderful to take on walks, very good on a leash. Rosie is friendly with other people and other dogs. She is cuddly and playful. She will both snuggle on your lap and also be energetic and want to play. Rosie is small, only 5 pounds and doubtful she will get bigger. We are asking for a rehoming pet fee to make sure she goes to serious buyers. We want her to have a good home. It would be good for her to have a home where someone is home with her most of the time.

Story
Stevie is a five year-old mixed breed dog that loves to sleep on soft blankets, play with all kinds of toys, likes to swim, and is wonderful with people and kids. She loves the outdoors, playing in rivers and lakes, a good bird chaser, and a squirrel aficionado. Unfortunately, as she has gotten older, she is picking more fights with our other dogs. She has never liked other dogs. At eight weeks old when we got her, she showed signs of being aggressive to other dogs. We tried to train this out of her and got to a good point with our family dogs for the first few years. However, this last year she has gotten into too many fights with them and is has been a difficult decision, but we need to rehome her. We love her very much and she has more personality than any other dogs I have come to know. She is very animated and has a lot of love to give. We rescued her at eight weeks from a shelter, it is with a heavy heart that we need to say goodbye. We want her to live the best life possible.

Story
Whiskey is the ultimate companion dog—he craves human interaction and thrives when he’s around his family. Whether he's lounging on the couch or following you from room to room, he just wants to be part of the action. But don’t be fooled by his cuddle-loving side—he’s also a high-energy pup who enjoys chewing on toys and exploring his surroundings! With his growing curiosity, he’ll need plenty of playtime, engagement, and training to channel his energy in the right direction. He already knows sit, down, and home, but since he’s still young, he’ll benefit from consistent training to help him become the best version of himself. He’s crate-trained, house-trained, and gets along well with other dogs! When it comes to cats, he’s neutral—he doesn’t mind them but doesn’t interact much either. His stubborn streak is part of his charming personality, so a patient, dedicated family who can continue his training with positive reinforcement will be the best fit for him.

Story
Kylo is a Husky and Malamute mix purchased when he was a puppy about 3 months old from a young couple since they were moving to an apartment that did not allow pets. I have recently moved to a new home myself that would not accommodate Kylo. Kylo is energetic, good around kids and friendly with most dogs.
