Story
Introducing Miss Cassie!“I am a sweet, shy, yet energetic Cane Corso husky mix. I seem to love all other dogs, am dainty yet love to romp and have a good play session! I am easy on a leash and beginning to learn basic commands. My past was a bit stressful for such a young pup, I have been taking time with my patient foster family and foster siblings to learn about family life. I am eager to greet you every morning but do like to go at my own pace getting to know you and am cautious about new people entering my space. I’m looking for patient owners, perhaps with another young dog for me to play with! I love to explore and prefer to have lots of opportunities to be active.”What her fosters have to say: Cassie is a stunning young female with deep, striking eyes that shine from beyond her charcoal face and muzzle. She has an ombré undercoat reminiscent of the husky within. She is quiet and in the several months she has been in foster we have been treated to her distinctive, melodic, low husky song only twice-matching the howl of outside wind and vocal pack of coyotes. We know little about Cassie’s early months other than the outwards signs of worry and quivering trepidation she once showed. In the space of just a few months, Cassie has truly shown her resilience and desire to join the family-at her own pace. She is curious and you can see the new trust building in her big beautiful eyes. She is dog and kid friendly. She has not been tested with cats. Has never shown an ounce of aggression, seeks slow affection and steady routine. Is food motivated and demonstrates easy trainability. Gentle on a leash- minimal pulling and requires only easy corrections. Beginning to learn basic command; Cassie will benefit from further socialization and obedience training.Cassie needs a patient placement that will not rush her but will earn the devoted company of a delightful, smart and loyal pup for many years to come. She has medium to high energy. Will need daily exercise. Cassie is approximately 10 months old, 55lbs. She was recently spayed, is housebroken, crate trained, UTD on all vaccinations. Every day she becomes more lighthearted!

Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Dip is a neutered male young adult, approximately 17-18 months old. Dip was found emaciated along with his sister Dot in a ditch in Santa Paula at around 5/6 months, they were rescued by Blue Light Canine Foundation. Dog friendly, can be people shy but warms up quickly. I believe fast moving loud kids would spook him. He does have some chase drive with small prey animals. Dip is a high energy young Border Collie and needs an experienced home who can meet his needs. He would thrive in an active home and I think he would be a fun little sport dog if someone wanted to go in that direction with him. He loves to work and learn new things! He knows sit and down but is also learning stay, focus, leave it, place and loose leash walking, as well as some tricks for fun! Located in Camarillo, CA. Email me at kaylee_voneschen@yahoo.com if you have any questions about this sweet boy!

Story
Flora is a beautiful Mastiff with the soul of a lovable puppy at heart. Despite a rough start in life, this gentle lioness carries herself with quiet strength and resilience. Her expressive eyes sparkle with hope as she wags her powerful tail in eager anticipation of affection. A true hugger and cuddler, she melts into warm embraces, seeking the safety and love she has always deserved. Playful and adorable in her giant, wrinkly way, she brings joy with every bouncy step and goofy expression, yet beneath that sweetness lies the steadfast heart of a protector—loyal and devoted to those she trusts. Now ready for her forever home, Flora longs for a family who will cherish her tender spirit. This kisser offers endless snuggles, protective vigilance, and playful companionship to the right people who understand her need for patience and consistency after everything she has endured. With her massive frame and even bigger heart, she is waiting to shower her forever family with unconditional love, turning her once-difficult past into a bright future filled with wagging tails, gentle kisses, and unbreakable bonds.Flora was rescued from a high kill shelter and is suspected of being overbred before she was picked up off the streets. She would do well as the only dog or another calm male dog. She is house trained and ready to give all her love to someone special!
