Bennet is a 10 month old Chihuahua puppy who lost a leg but never his spirit. He was one of six pups cruelly dumped with trash in a remote area, emaciated and suffering from an old, untreated injury so severe that amputation was the only humane option. Today, Bennet is pain free and thriving, zipping around on three legs just as fast as he ever could on four.

I’m Knuckles, a one-year-old, 10-pound bundle of joy with soft fur and a little fox face that always seems to be smiling. I love being around other dogs, and I even do a happy prance when I walk on a leash. I’m a loyal little guy who just wants to stay close to my family and share all my happiness with them. Darlene was surrendered to the shelter when her owners could no longer care for her. She was living with 2 other dogs and is good with new dogs. Darlene lived with kids and is housetrained, affectionate and well-mannered. Darlene will bark at strangers and sounds the alarms for deliveries. She is about 45 pounds, and we are working on cleaning up some skin issues (high quality food and fish oil, with an exam scheduled at vet). She is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. Story

Honey (she goes by Dolce, but we have another dog also with that name) came from a home with far too many dogs that overwhelmed the owner. Honey is 50 pounds, is recently spayed and is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She is a typical female, who can get a little growly around strangers poking and prodding (not a fan of the vet but manageable), but has lived with other dogs and kids with no issues. Her coat has cleaned up nicely with good food and some short-term antibiotics. Honey is the princess, preferring inside to out (she is completely housetrained, but just doesn't want to hang out in the yard otherwise). She is quiet, not a big barker and likes to give kisses and hugs. Honey is fostering in the Indio, California area. Tasha is a year and a half years old. We adopted her after our sweet terrier dog of thirteen years passed. Tasha is very playful and loves to play and chew on toys. She is a real cuddle bug. If you are just sitting she loves to curl up on your lap. The reason we are rehoming her is because she is not a good match for our 12 year old dog. I would recommend Tasha be in a home without other animals and small children. She has a lot of energy and I would be afraid she would be to much for them. we have had her for 4 months.
