Story
Kona – Sweet, Well-Trained, Loving Dog Looking for the Right Home Kona is an incredibly sweet, well-trained dog with a calm, loving personality. She has zero aggression, does great with people, kids, and other dogs, and everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She is fully trained—clicker trained, kennel trained, and reliable off-leash with excellent recall. She knows multiple commands and can be trusted alone with no issues. Kona thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where she isn’t left alone for long periods. Due to my full-time school and work schedule, I’m no longer able to give her the time she truly deserves. This is not an easy decision—I’m looking for a stable, loving home that will give her the attention and care she’s used to. If for any reason it doesn’t work out, I would want her returned to me. If you’re looking for a loyal, well-behaved companion or a great addition to your family, Kona would be an amazing fit.

Story
we rescued palmer in january 2022 from a local no-kill shelter. she is a very sweet, loyal, protective, active, & loving dog. we have never had any issues with her besides not being leash trained. she has never nipped/bit or growled at either of our children (we have a 2.5 year old & 9 month old). she is truly great with both of them! she has never had any issues with dogs at doggy daycare & when we trained her in 2023, she was very obedient & responsive to the trainer. however, as our lifestyle has changed with 2 young kids, we are not able to give her the lifestyle she requires. once she trusts you, she will protect you til the day she dies. unfortunately, she did bite a young kid who ran up to her at the park. it was completely out of her character to do that to a human. from then on, we have decided that she needs to be re-homed. beside her bite incident, she has never shown aggression towards children. she does it require introduction to new people.

Story
Magnolia is one of 5 siblings that all was on a euthanized list. Her and her siblings were found without their parents. At 12 weeks I rescued all of them from the shelter. She is the last of her siblings to be adopted. She is now almost 11 months old. She is very energetic. She needs plenty of exercise. She loves walking, running and fetching. She loves to play with other dogs. She loves to play with other cats if they let her. She is so loved and I want her to go to a forever home to live out her life. A big yard and plenty of exercise is a must. She is affectionate, curious, clever, playful, adventurous, athletic, and communicative.

Story
Marcus is a gentle 10-year-old senior who truly checks all the boxes for someone looking for a calm, loyal companion. He’s embracing his golden years with quiet grace—and just a touch of endearing senior sass. Marcus is completely deaf, which means he navigates the world through sight and routine. Because he can’t hear you coming, he may startle if surprised (what dignified older gentleman wouldn’t?). Occasionally, he’ll give a quick “hey now!” reaction—it’s simply his way of asking for a moment and a gentle approach. With consistency, patience, and clear visual cues, he settles beautifully and continues to grow more confident each day. Most of the time, Marcus is wonderfully calm and laid-back. He’s fully house-trained and reliably does his business outside—another box checked! He enjoys gentle walks and soaking up fresh air, and when he gets tired, he’s perfectly content to ride along in a backpack like the distinguished little king he is. Marcus is extremely food-motivated and absolutely loves to eat. Treats are the quickest way to his heart and a wonderful way to build trust—he takes snack time very seriously. One of his most charming quirks? He loves looking at himself in the mirror. He’ll sit and study his reflection with sweet curiosity, as if admiring the handsome senior staring back at him. At the end of the day, Marcus is exactly what so many people are searching for: low-energy, house-trained, affectionate, and deeply loyal once he bonds with his person. He simply needs a kind, patient home that understands seniors deserve a little extra gentleness. If you’re looking for a devoted retirement buddy who checks all the boxes—and comes with just a sprinkle of lovable senior personality—Marcus might be your perfect match.
