Story
According to his DNA test, this cool dude is Enzo, a Shepadoodle mix. He was born in January, 2021. He weighs about 45 pounds. He has a fun, funky, curly mohawk down his back. Enzo knows: Sit, down, heel, right & left turn, down at a distance, 'go to your crate', and other commands. He waits and makes eye contact for treats and his dinner. He knows tricks, too. He did very well in an Intro to Nosework class. Enzo is house trained and uses the dog door. He is also crate trained. He uses the crate to relax and sleep. Enzo is good with anyone kind and appropriate. The calm kids he's met have been able to give him treats for tricks or pets. On hikes and walks he gets a little shy of people approaching and just prefers some distance. He will get curious and want to sniff if new people direct their attention away from him. Treats are a great icebreaker for him. Enzo is good with other dogs. He loves to play and even shares toys with dogs, initiating tug games with them. Enzo loves fetching rope toys and floppy toys. He loves sharing his toys with his people and will find toys to bring to initiate a game. Enzo is good in the car in a crate and can get excited when he is going somewhere he likes. Enzo is good on leash and can be uncertain sometimes with new situations. A confident dog pal helps him see that it's all ok. Enzo is best on quiet streets and hikes, so being a city dog isn't the life for him. Enzo will thrive in a home that is fair, kind, and keeps him busy so he isn't bored. He is a happy, fun-loving young dog who is up for anything fun and loves to learn. He has a lot of potential as a fun adventuring/sporting companion. We see him living with a young active couple or family who have a yard to play in, can take him for hikes and make him a big part of their lives. Enzo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in SoCal. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.

Leia is 7 years old and weighs about 30-35 pounds. She is devoted, funny, and loves to play (see the YouTube video). She tends to love one-two-maybe three people and will ask others to leave her alone. She gives all of her love to the one-two who deserve her adoration! Story
This striking gal is Abbie, a 3 years old Cattledog mix. She weighs about 50 pounds and is 25 inches tall. She is loved, but finds herself not getting the attention and exercise she needs now that her family has a new baby. Abbie is looking for an active home to keep her busy. Abbie knows all of her basics:Sit, drop it, and leave it. She is also house trained. Abbie is very loyal and loving with her people. She can be shy meeting men, but warms up with patience. Like most herders, she prefers a polite introduction. As for kids, she lives with one and really wishes she didn't. She would prefer a home with older kids or no kids. Abbie lives with a small dog but isn't a fan. She likes dogs her size and larger. With larger dogs, she does like to play! It's possible Abbie may be good with cats. She seems to ignore cats when she sees them, but hasn't lived with one. Abbie is good on leash but pulls some. She also fetches, and likes to keep the ball until she wants to release it. She is a fun girl looking for more activity and even someone who would enjoy refining her skills with more training. Abbie is such a sweet girl and very smart. She's incredibly loyal and does a good job guarding her loved ones. She's also a great alarm clock as she will wake you up with many kisses. Abbie is ready to be someone's best friend. Abbie is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Covina, CA and is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and a vet reference are required.

This cute cal is Ellie, a 1.5 years old Border Collie mix. She weighs about 40 pounds. Ellie is a sweet and fun girl looking for a family who can keep a busy Border Collie active. She is house and crate trained. She also knows her basics: sit and stay. She hasn't been around small kids, and once in a while still has puppy nippiness so isn't a match for little kids. Ellie is a fun girl. She loves to fetch. Click on the red YouTube button to see her in action. She is good in leash and good in the car. She is best as an only dog and isn't a dog park gal, but would be amazing for camping and hiking. Ellie is a very loving girl who will follow her person everywhere. She likes to cuddle, too. Story
This lovely girl is Bailey. She is a 6 years old Husky /Cattledog mix who weighs about 60 pounds. Bailey is a smart gal who knows her basics: sit, down, lay down, spin, and stay. She is also house and crate trained. Bailey starts a bit shy when meeting new people but is quite friendly when she is given a moment to warm up. She hasn't lived with kids, so smaller kids aren't likely a match for her. Bailey is good with dogs her size and larger. She likes to play with dogs who enjoy her rambunctious play style. Bailey does have prey drive, so isn't a fit for a home with cats or small dogs. Bailey enjoys fun and adventure with her people. She enjoys fetching. She is also good in a car and would make a fun hiking or jogging companion. She does pull some on leash, but that can be managed. She can also get excited when she sees other dogs on walks. Mostly, Bailey will thrive in an active home that gets her energy out. She is a lot less silly on leash when she gets the right amount of activity. Once the fun of hikes and play is done, she enjoys down time with her people inside. Bailey is a lovable girl that loves to play, cuddle and be with her people. Bailey is spayed and microchipped. She is located in Riverside and is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.

Story
This formally dressed chap is Dexter, a 7 years old Corgi/Cattledog mix who weighs about 45 pounds. Dexter knows all of his basics: Sit, stay, wait for food and wait before entering a room, and lay down. He is house and crate trained, and sleeps in his crate every night. Dexter is a nice guy with adults and older kids. He isn’t a fan of small kids, which is why he is looking for a new home. He would appreciate a home with older kids or just adults. Dexter loves a good game of fetch and can catch a ball in midair. He is a good traveler, as he is good in the car and good on leash. He does pull in the leash some, though. He loves car rides, camping, and swimming. Dexter’s ideal home is with an active person or couple who also thinks that he is all they need. He is best as an only dog in a home. For that person, he loves to cuddle. Belly rubs are a favorite, too. He is a great little guy who just needs the right home. Dexter is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Santa Clarita and is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required.
