Story
ADOPTABLE BLUE 🐾🤍💙🩵 Blue was brought into the Lancaster Shelter by his owner. The owner said he’d be back for him, so Blue stayed there in limbo unable to be adopted for 2 full weeks. In all that time, his owner never came back. And then when the hold was released, his owner still wasn’t there. It’s so sad. We got him out with an AMAZING foster. Blue goes to the dog beach & is learning how much fun it is to be a dog who is loved. He will make a great companion. Is his person out there?! 🥹 BLUE 5 months old Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix Neutered/UTD on vaccines Great with dogs Smart - already knows how to use the doggy door GREAT in the car - like amazing. Either sleeps or cuddles the whole time!!! GREAT at the dog beach Just overall a great dog Adoption application on: Mcdonoughrescue.com under Forms 💕💞

Once abandoned, now adoptable!!!! 🥹🐾 Oak's owner tried surrendering him and his siblings to the Barstow Humane Society but could not afford the surrender fee. She brought them home instead, and her son threatened to dump them when she left the house 😔 We intervened - they are now SAFE, decompressing and all in foster homes. They have their first round of vaccines done & will need another round in 3 weeks. They are adorable, loving and so ready for their forevers!!! 🤍 9 weeks old. Chihuahua mix. Story
Meet Buddy! Buddy was found outside of the Barstow Humane Society. His owners dog had an accidental litter and she was trying to surrender all 6 puppies to the shelter. She could not afford the surrender fee, and the owners son threatened to just dump them :( We intervened, and could not let that happen. All puppies are now SAFE, loved, cared for, and all looking for their forever homes! Buddy is currently being fostered in the San Fernando Valley but can travel to the right home. He loves, looooves playing with his foster brother, is potty trained, and crate trained. He knows basic commands and loves to cuddle. We can't wait for Buddy to find his best forever home!!!!
