Story
Tyson is 10 years old and very active dog. He is curious, highly aware and intelligent as well. He loves to run, play ball and be at home. He is crate trained and crated, since we had our children he has become overly protective of them. He barks a lot, I would recommend an experienced owner . He doesn’t do well being alone for long periods. Ideal person for this would be someone who is home a lot and doesn’t travel too much. He does have a tendency to get carsick in longer car rides. He is extremely loyal dog, he will literally die for you or family so he is a very good guard dog. He is brave , almost fearless.

Story
Grace is truly a special dog. She’s a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix and the kind of dog that’s hard not to fall in love with. She is incredibly intelligent and has a great balance of energy and calm. Grace loves her walks and getting out to explore, and she also settles great at home. She’s affectionate without being needy, engaged without being overwhelming, and has an incredibly gentle presence. She’s friendly with other dogs and cats, easy to live with, and very tuned in to the people around her. Grace fits naturally into a home. She rests quietly nearby and enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing. Grace would be perfect for someone looking for a dog that’s truly a companion. She’s loyal, loving, intelligent, and has that rare, special quality that’s hard to describe but obvious the moment you meet her.

Story
Hi! Atlas is a wonderful 5 year old husky mix. We rescued him from a shelter over a year ago and we realize he would do best in a child free home. We are seeking an adult-only home with an experienced dog owner. He has shown resource guarding behaviors and has bitten our child on a few occasions without breaking the skin. Out of an abundance of care and responsibility, we are re-homing him before anything escalates further. He is a mellow, affectionate Husky who truly breaks the stereotype for his breed. He enjoys being active and is used to 2+ hours of exercise daily, but he also loves downtime and will happily soak up non-stop pets and attention. His favorite activities include hiking, camping, car rides, and outdoor adventures, and he settles nicely after his exercise needs are met. He has completed both basic and advanced training and works well for treats. With clear boundaries, and continued positive reinforcement training, he has the potential to do very well.

Story
We thought Hank was a German Shepherd with a little bit of Husky, but after running his DNA, it turns out he's a Husky with a little bit of German Shepherd, among other things. Most surprisingly of all, he's 16% Basset Hound! Rescued from a high-kill shelter with only 3 hours to spare. Now he’s looking for his forever home—one that matches his big heart and high energy. Sweet, goofy, athletic, and playful—perfect for an active person or a home with another medium to large, playful dog. Hank goes to doggy daycare regularly and loves doggy playtime. He hardly has any undercoat, so he doesn't shed like full-breed huskies do. Hank has had professional training and knows many commands. While often petted by kids at the playground, not recommended for homes with small children due to his exuberance. He's still in his puppy phase. He has a mischievous streak and may “borrow” your couch pillows or oven mitts. If you want a dog who will keep things interesting, Handsome Hank is your guy!!

Story
Beaux is approximately 10 years old. He came into our family about 4–6 months ago after his owner — a hospice patient — passed away. My daughter is a hospice nurse and took Beaux in temporarily so he wouldn’t be left without care. Beaux adjusted with grace during a very emotional transition. Beaux does best in a peaceful environment and would be ideal for someone looking for a loyal senior companion. Beaux is very sweet and affectionate and is currently in Orange County, CA. Beaux would thrive in: a calm household, a home with someone who appreciates senior dogs, a low-stress environment. Beaux deserves a soft landing for this next chapter; a place where he can relax, feel safe and secure, be cherished, and feel settled.

Story
Magnolia is one of 5 siblings that all was on a euthanized list. Her and her siblings were found without their parents. At 12 weeks I rescued all of them from the shelter. She is the last of her siblings to be adopted. She is now almost 8 months old. She is very energetic. She needs plenty of exercise. She loves walking, running and fetching. She loves to play with other dogs. She loves to play with other cats if they let her. She is so loved and I want her to go to a forever home to live out her life. A big yard and plenty of exercise is a must. She is affectionate, curious, clever, playful, adventurous, athletic, and communicative.
