After spending our early lives in a testing facility, we are now discovering what it truly means to be dogs — soft beds, toys, sunshine, treats, and the kindness of people. Because everything is still so new to us, we will need patient and understanding adopters who can help us build confidence at our own pace. We are gentle, sweet-natured beagles who continue to learn and blossom every day. We get along well with other dogs and often feel comforted by having canine companions nearby. Watching us experience freedom for the first time is incredibly special, and we are looking for loving homes where we can continue our journey of healing, trust, and happiness.

Rescued from a hoarding situation, Twinkle and Star survived without proper care, comfort, or safety. When rescuers finally reached them, they were frightened, under-socialized, and unsure if humans could ever be kind. Between these two very sweet young ladies, they coparented six puppies. Now that their puppies have been adopted, these moms, bonded for life, are looking for an adopter who will take them both.    Today, these two resilient souls are discovering what it means to be safe. They are both potty trained, but they are also very, very shy. It will take time, patience, and understanding for them to fully warm up to a new family and feel secure in their surroundings. Though they may remain timid at first, every small victory — a wagging tail, a curious glance, a quiet cuddle — is proof of their incredible courage. Their bond with each other has been a source of comfort through unimaginable circumstances, and together they are taking brave steps toward healing. They don’t need perfection; they need patience, compassion, and a family willing to show them that love can be forever. These dogs are not defined by where they came from. They are defined by their resilience, their capacity to trust again, and the hope they still carry despite everything. After surviving the worst, they deserve the very best life has to offer.
