Story
Sweet Cali came to our rescue in November from a breeder/ hoarder situation where she was chained to a tree 24 hours a day with only a dog igloo to shield her from the elements. Needless to say when she arrived at her foster home, she was anxious, and terrified of humans and hid in the closet for most of the day. She has blossomed into a calm, happy, playful girl, and is learning to trust humans. Cali likes to spend her days playing with her dog friends, lounging around the house and outside in the sunshine. She definitely prefers a quiet people household with minimal activity (so no young kids), she moves to the bedroom when things get loud or she feels overwhelmed. She sleeps on my bed at night and comes up in the morning for loves and pets, however the rest of the day she is reserved and independent . She has the personality of a cat, minus the litter box. Cali loves her dog friends and has become attached to my larger male golden retriever. She follows him everywhere. She will need a home with at least 1 other dog to show her the ropes and continue to help build her confidence. Cali is submissive and will do great in home with other dogs. She is also cat friendly and doesn’t pay them any attention. Cali can be left for a few hours without any problems, has an occasional accident in the house, does well in the car and at the vet. She will need a fenced in yard of her own (no dog parks), is learning to walk on a leash, and is ready for training. She is estimated to be about 3.5 years old, around 30lbs, up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on prevention. A meet and greet is required. If this sweet girl sounds perfect for you, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.

Story
Hannibal is a 3-year-old male, blue-nose pit bull. (08/2020) He was rescued from a fence in Georgia and is currently in Florida with us now. We think he would be best for a household without kids, or other dogs, (he does have another dog he lives with now, a French Bulldog) Hannibal is 90lbs and likes to play & will make someone a great soul mate, or best buddy, he is very loyal and listens to his human. We wish circumstances were different, but we can't keep him; he deserves the best, and we want to find him a good forever home.

Story
My name is Phoenix and I am 6 yrs old. I love sitting outside enjoying the weather. I love to go on walks and car rides. I can be lazy at times and I will never deny a belly rub. I love to go to the dog park and doggie daycare. Also, I love to play with toys and play fetch too! I'm a great companion for calm nights at home, too, and will love to sit in your lap when I can. I am great with other dogs and cats too!

Story
We took Benny in from a family friend that couldn’t take care of him anymore when he was a year and a half old. We have had him for 3 years but he does not get along with our other dog who we have had since she was a pup. He is very very smart and will come, sit, lay down, stay, heal, roll over, and spin around. He doesn’t leave our property even when no one is watching. He is loyal and a good watch dog and will play frisbee and fetch as long as you want to. He will make a very good best friend, he is a lover. He needs a home where he can run around and an owner who has time to play with him. Preferably someone who likes walking and being outdoors.

Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
I have a young, energetic and friendly standard poodle that I am no longer able to care for as I am no longer able to care for myself and therefore, this dog needs a good home. Apollo is well socialized and went to the dog park daily. However, I have not done a good job house training him. He did his business on my liana. I think Apollo is smart enough that he could easily be house trained by an experienced dog person with a fenced in yard - plus he is not yet even 2 years old.
