Story
I’ve had Kylo since he was a couple months old. He is currently 11 years old. He’s been very good company throughout the years, playful and full of energy. I’m unfortunately no longer able to give him the time he needs and deserves due to recently having a baby. He is a indoor dog and a little bit bougie. I want him placed in a good home that can give him the attention he needs. I think he’ll thrive in a home with a single owner that’s looking for good company. He may need some time to adjust but he typically does well in new environments. He loves the dog park and does well in daycare.

Story
Sadie and Coco are bonded 9-year-old Lab sisters, each weighing approximately 55 pounds. Sadie is yellow and white, and Coco is black and white. They had a loving home at one time, but due to a divorce, the man dumped them in the Ocala National Forest to die. Luckily, they were saved and brought to Marion County Animal Services. The female went to save them, but was unable to keep them. They are so mellow, love kids and everyone they meet. They are initially shy when meeting new people, but then their sweet personality emerges. They would love to be couch potatoes. Please open your heart and home to these sweet senior girls. Their adoption donation is $100 for the pair. They must be adopted together. They are in a foster home, so we are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p108/Sadie_%26_Coco.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Here is the link: https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html

Story
Sparky is a 7-year-old Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel/Poodle) weighing approximately 35 pounds. When he gets to know you, he is a lovable, friendly dog who loves to play.  When he first meets people he will growl and attempt to bite so it does take time for him to trust.  He loves toys and will destroy fluffy toys in no time in order to get the squeaker out (he should’ve been a surgeon).  He does not walk well on a leash, but he is house-trained.  He has to be the only pet and no children.  His adoption donation is $150 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip.  He is heartworm-negative and on monthly prevention.  If you will just give him a chance, he will be your loyal, lovable, playful companion. We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Story
Regan is a female Boxer mix.  She is 2 years old, spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and weighs 50 lbs.  Regan does not get along with all dogs and sometimes plays "too hard" with other dogs.  Regan is not aggressive at all with people and loves everyone, but she should be an only dog.  She is more comfortable with women but can learn to trust a man, she's a bit afraid of men at first meeting.  To be on the safe side, no young children.  Regan was found emaciated as a pup.  But she has grown to be a super loyal, fun and smart dog, she needs a stable, safe environment, a fenced-in yard, with no other dogs, cats or children around and she will continue to flourish!  Her adoption donation is $200 which includes her spay, vaccinations and microchip. She is currently in a foster home and we are requesting an approved application prior to a meet and greet. Regan has so much love to share with her family! https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p31/Regan.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. ROSA -- INSTANT COMPANION  ***WHAT A DOG!*** LOCATED IN VOLUSIA COUNTY, FL (Orange City)   *** PLEASE SHARE THE POST   Available for adoption or fostering --   Rosa's humans were no longer in a physical or financial position to care for her and agreed to let GRATEFUL PAWS step in and provide the vet care she needed to and find her a new home.   She has been fully vetted (spayed/chipped/ vaccinated, etc.) and is doing GREAT in her temporary foster home, but she is ready for her own forever home now.     She is a German Shepherd, about 4 years old and weighs about 55 lbs. She is a healthy, happy and spirited dog who loves to chase almost anything! Good old-fashioned sticks are her favorite, but she WILL dart after squirrels, birds or other critters.   She is well behaved in the home and totally housebroken. She knows sit, stay, down and gives 'PAW', both left and right! She is food motivated and is gentle with food and treats. She LOVES to ride in the car or the golf cart -- and gets very excited when she gets to go anywhere with her 'humans'.   She would be a good single dog, what we call an INSTANT COMPANION! Rosa has a sweet temperament but still needs a little TLC to overcome her fear of new things.  We have not had her around small children - and a home with no other pets would probably be best.   Her true background is unknown, but she can be hesitant and shows signs of fear when meeting new people. Rosa needs a dog savvy, patient new owner who is able to work with her on becoming more socialized. She is going to make a wonderful companion for someone...     Interested? Email for an application. jmilbyer@gmail.com-  Adoption fee $250. And if you foster for us, we provide EVERYTHING YOU NEED - so it costs you NOTHING but your time and a little love.  A   AND share this post please... Thanks June 1, 2025, 8:49 am

Story
Wren is a 1-year-old female Chihuahua/Puggle mix weighing 26 pounds. This adorable girl is full of energy. She loves to play fetch and will also return it to you to throw again. She has been known to “steal” another dog's toy, but then she will return it when she is done playing with it! She appears to be house-trained, but we never guarantee that. She gets along with the other dogs, cats and kids. She enjoys playing in the yard but also walks well on a leash. Her adoption donation is $300, which includes her spay, vaccinations, and microchip. She is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. Please come to watch her play fetch! https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p95/Wren.html We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.
