Story
Onyx is a good dog and is home trained. He mostly sleeps in the house if he isnt chewing a beef knuckle. He has never bitten anyone and he ignores little dogs but loves to play with big dogs. He is nice to kids and even protective of them. He is hyper-reactive outside and because of this he needs a fenced yard or someone with experience to walk him with a lead. Taking him to the vet, to get groomed, or on walks became hard due to back issues, so big sister has him for now. He eats Diamond Naturals Grain-Free dog food Beef and Sweet potato flavor. He loves beef knuckles and chew bones but they have to be very strong. He loves other toys and goes bonkers for squeaky toys but will destroy them in 0.2 seconds flat. I would love to see onyx in a good home with someone who is very experienced with dogs. He seems to need more exercise than he can get in a apt style living. He will take off running so space in a controlled environment is needed. We have tried training but financially

Story
This dog came to me as a foster following a house fire in Orange Co. He needs a more active environment & a large property. He prefers to be a man's dog & would *love* an active life out in the world with a man. He talks to the other dogs with a baritone bark if bored outside. He loves empty cardboard boxes to attack, shred and carry around. He can move full culms of bamboo by himself (tote/pull/hunt). He loves to play ball and play with toys. He's good with other dogs, people, and kids. NO CATS! Vet visits, claw clipping, touching paws/base of his tail are anxiety producing. Guards the property diligently. Gentle, playful, confident giant 120lbs. No accidents. Issue exists with a neighbor inciting him at fence line to make him bark. The dog is trainable, but the neighbor is not. He enjoys being with his person all the time. He's a solid, handsome dog. Knows: sit, down, off, quit. Born spring 2020. Already neutered. In this home since 2023.

Story
Great with kids and other dogs. Raised in our home since birth, Ranger is a 2-year-old dog with a truly special nature. The son of an award-winning purebred Irish Setter dad and a purebred German Shepherd mom, he carries the best of both: a big, affectionate heart and a gentle, watchful loyalty. Out of five puppies, Ranger had the deepest connection to people — Even as a pup, he would pause before meals to come over and give us a thankful lick before eating. That’s Ranger in a nutshell: loving, appreciative, & people-oriented. Ranger is playful, warm, and still youthful. He resembles a flat-coated retriever, with the expressive snout of a German Shepherd if you look closely. With his long legs, he’s often the fastest runner at the dog park and a joy to watch with other dogs — energetic, social, friendly and always heeds his call when it's time to go. He is house-trained and knows sit, down, stay, and come. Ranger is ready to bring his big heart and joyful spirit into a loving home.
