Meet Max! This handsome boy may be big but he is a huge lover. Max was pulled from the local shelter just hours before he was put to sleep. The shelter thought he had a foreign body, but turns out he had pneumonia. Though his story starts off sad we are hoping the rest of his years makes up for it. He has been being spoiled in foster care and is now ready for his new home! Max is about three years old and gets along with other dogs but with proper intros. No cats for Max, he's too playful. Max does have some resource guarding that he is working through but has been doing good. He needs someone who has experience in his breed and is willing to continue working with him. I have had Rocco since he was a puppy. He was my father's death dog that I inherited after my father's death. I work 12 hour days and being evicted from my apartment because Rocco will bark while I am not at home. Rocco loves to run and play in a yard or dog park. He has never been aggressive to any other dog. He wants a lot of attention and deserves someone who can spend time with him. He will go into a crate and walks on a lease. He is great with children but his bark has scared strangers. He is very strong and will love you forever.

Hello, meet Douglas! He is a goofy, fun-loving guy, who loves cuddles and attention. He knows how to play fetch really well and runs very fast! He's going to be 6 years old next April! Douglas was gift to my husband when we first moved in together. Douglas loves being in the car and going to dog parks. He's always the life of the party at family gatherings. He can swim too! He tolerates bathtime and teeth brushing. He just doesn't like his nails being done (especially his front paws). He is crate-trained, rarely barks (only to protect you), and does best with a harness since he tugs a little on walks. We've made countless memories with him, but my husband and I are separating. Our jobs require heavy travel and long hours, and sadly, neither of our families can take Douglas in. Our lease ends soon, hence the shorter timeline. We're happy to offer all of Douglas' belongings at no extra cost as well.

I adopted Sammy from a local shelter when I was in college, and she’s been my best girl ever since. She’s about 9 years old now — gentle, affectionate, a little sassy, and endlessly curious. She loves snuggling, basking in sunny spots, and happily cleaning up any dinner scraps you’re willing to share. In her older age, Sammy has developed some food aggression and tension with other animals. After several serious fights with my other dog and increasing aggression around my baby during mealtimes, I’ve made the heartbreaking decision to find her a new home. She has never bitten a human, but she needs a calm environment without other pets or children to feel safe and relaxed. Sammy would thrive in a quiet home where she can be someone’s one-and-only — spoiled with love, soft places to nap, and plenty of companionship. She’s truly a sweet, loyal, and special dog who deserves a peaceful place to enjoy her golden years.

My grandmother was feeding her and we believe her mother for a while until we found that the mother was pregnant and so she took them in. My grandmother can only keep the mom to take care of her but the puppy needs a home. I’ve called rescues and shelter but everything is either full or won’t take her in. She’s a good girl and I would love to keep her but I have two dogs already and live in a studio. She has so much energy, tells me when she needs to use the bathroom, and love to snuggle.
