Story

We adopted him from Once Upon a Prayer Rescue in O'Fallon, IL. He is 4 years old. He is a very anxious dog and has a hard time just sitting next to us, but when he does it is so heartwarming. We did anxiety medicine for a bit to see if we noticed a change and we did, but we couldn't afford it anymore. If you have a front window, then he is constantly looking out it. He will bark at anyone who is walking in front of the house. You will always know when someone is here. LOL. He is an attention seeking dog. Loves to go on walks but doesn't like to be outside by himself in the backyard. If he gets out of the backyard, he will go to the front door and scratch at it because he can't stand to be away from you. Don't leave food out on counters or else he will jump up and snag it. He went to obedience school. He is a big dog but thinks he is a little dog which can be an issue with kids and cats.

This is Melonie and she needs more time, energy and attention then I can give her. I am 6 moths pregnant and have had her for about a year she’s very sweet but very destructive and I just can’t take care of her anymore. She needs someone with a more energetic lifestyle, would probably do best being the only dog in the home. She has been raised with dogs and rabbits in cages or supervised. As long as you say everyone is her friend she is always very happy to meet them. Doesn’t do well with cats.

mocha is a good girl. she is good with puppies, but not too fond of older dogs unless she gets introduced well. she is turning 3 in september!! she loves her squeaky toys even though she destroys them, and she loves a good hard toy to chew on. she loves to cuddle, especially when it is bed time. she does have a bit of anxiety when you leave, she is cage trained but she will just whine when you leave and then howl when you come back. i just hope she goes to a good home that will properly take care of her and give her lots of space to have zoomies in. my life is too busy for a dog and i did not think about that when i got her. please, whoever takes her, just send me updates that iss all i ask. :)

Good dog would be a great dog in a 1 dog home. Unfortunately she doesn’t get along with our other dogs. We have 3 and she doesn’t get along with our lab. She loves people and if your couch is big enough she will cuddle. She is approximately 9 years old. She is leash trained but usually she just goes in our back yard to go potty!
