He is the best dog, and he needs a home! Right at 50 pounds, 8-9 years old but has the energy of 4-5. Great health. Wonderful, wonderful temperament. Would be great with kids or grandkids. Lots of fun. Came from a home with six other dogs that fell into a condition of neglect. All of the dogs had great temperaments. He is a high energy dog. Would be great with another dog or two.

He is adorable. Affectionate. 6-7 years old, came to local animal control as a stray, Illinois Humane brought him into our care soon after to our foster home that specializes in Chihuahuas. He is handsome Chihuahua-Italian Greyhound mix. He requires a dental about every 6 months. Small dog teeth!! However, he is worth it. He is just a wonderful little dog, a great companion. His coat has always been thin, which may be due to the breed mix we are guess it might be Italian Grethound, it may be something else). He needs a sweater or coat to go outdoors during cold weather..A sweet little dog.

Thor is a eight year old Carolina Dog. He is cautious and shy with those he does not know. He has grown increasingly social in his foster home. He has been fostered for a good number of months now, acclimating after becoming stressed in a shelter environment. The Carolina Dog breed is naturally cautious and suspicious in unfamiliar or unsettled settings. With time, when bonded with their human, they become excellent household companions. They generally bond quickly. Thor is a beautiful, dignified dog. Thor lights up when he can socialize and spend time with other canines. He will thrive in a home with other dogs. Thor currently weighs 95 pounds. There is a cat in his foster home, he has coexisted with the kitty very well.
