Story
When we brought Pixie into our home, she was in urgent need of medical care from being malnourished and had signs of physical abuse. We have since nursed Pixie back to health (she has gained more than 20 lbs), recently neutered as well as brought current on all shots. Unfortunately, we have realized that Pixie seems unable to co-exist with our other 3 dogs: 19-year-old Miniature Pinscher, 75 lb. male pit-mix and 55 lb. female pit-mix. Pixie has displayed various levels of aggressive behavior with each of our dogs as well as other dogs walking. Pixie was very shy and very sad when we first got her, but she has warmed up and really enjoys snuggling on the couch, wrestling around, going for walks or just sniffing around the back yard. She is extremely affectionate and will even try to lay on you anytime you snuggle with her on the couch. Pixie is house broken and crate trained. We do need to rehome Pixie by the end of June.

Story
Scarlett is mixed breed red pitbull (mother) & German rottweiler (father). She will be 6 years old August 2024. She is house trained & follows commands: sit, lay, roll over, speak, up (jump), & can even balance treats on her snout until she's given the command that she can have it. She knows how to stay in place when preparing her food & doesn't eat until given the okay. She does not tear up any furniture nor any clothing items including shoes, with respect that leaving such items around only gives that possibility - I always make sure to keep things put up. She hasn't had much interaction with other dogs nor have I taken her to any loose dog parks, mainly due to the negative stigma her breeds have. Scarlett has been around other dogs a handful of times but I always make sure to keep her leashed & close by so she doesn't get any bad ideas. She grew up entirely in 1-bedroom apt & I do my best to take her on frequent walks/runs. She's a protector & companion that needs a loving home.
