Story
Izzy is a beautiful boxer, Staffordshire mix and is about 5 years old-we also think she may have some lab in her based on her coat! She's a versatile girl who enjoys chilling at home on the couch (snuggled next to you), but also enjoys outside time in the yard sniffing around or playing with a ball. Izzy is super smart - she knows sit and down and she responds quickly to her name and redirection. She loves car rides and walks through the neighborhood. She is great on a leash and even bows her head to put on her harness! Izzy does great with other dogs and people, but she needs to be properly introduced to new friends. She gets nervous and displays low confidence if there's too much 'new' or too much 'energy' happening at once. She wants to build some trust before she's ready for pets and play time. She does not enjoy cats, so a kitty-free home is a must. Izzy will do best in medium to low energy homes. She loves hanging with her family and is also okay to do her own thing when no one is home. She is potty and crate trained, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Izzy's adoption fee has been sponsored by a kind supporter of Redemption Rescue and she is ready for her forever home!

Story
We brought Pixie Muffin into our home in January 2024. She was in urgent need of medical care (see pics). She was badly malnourished and had signs of physical abuse (by people and other dogs). We have since nursed Pixie back to health (she has gained more than 20 lbs), neutered as well as brought current on all shots. Unfortunately, we have realized that Pixie seems unable to co-exist with our other 3 dogs: a small, 19-year-old Miniature Pinscher, a 75 lb. male pit-mix and a 55 lb. female pit-mix. Pixie has displayed various levels of aggressive behavior with each of our dogs as well as other dogs when taking her for walks. Pixie was very shy and very sad when we first got her, but she has warmed up and really enjoys snuggling on the couch, wrestling around, going for walks, playing tug of war or just sniffing around the back yard. Pixie is house broken and crate trained.
