He’s pretty high energy & can be pretty skittish, but he’s never been aggressive. He’s a very sweet boy & LOVES everyone, we just have too much going on to keep him. He has a couple of fatty lumps on his chest/neck, nothing concerning or life threatening (normal for labs/lab mixes). Will provide some food & bed, as well as some other care bits and bobs we have for him. I don’t necessarily need the $10, I just want him to go to a good home where he can have the attention he needs/deserves. Located in Pittsburg KS (adopt a pet won’t let me change the zip code).

Story

Hello! This is Seth a 1 /12 year old border collie mix. He is house trained, walks on leash, he is EXCELLENT with other dogs. Genuinely one of my favorite things about Seth is I never have had to worry about him being the problem with another dog. He seriously makes friends with anyone and everyone he possibly can. But all of that to say he really is the nicest boy ever. If you have a cat, no problem Seth can be best friends with a trash can. If you are looking for a family dog your kids can play with all summer, this is the guy for you. If you are retired and like to go on walks or enjoy the outdoors, this is the guy for you. If you are looking for a friend for your dog, look no further this is your guy. All Seth requires is more time or space than me and my partner have to offer right now.

Story

Lahni is certianly a difficult case, not for the inexperienced dog parent. She has seasonal allergies that require allergy medication, for which she’s currently on immunotherapy treatments. She gets the occasional ear infection that is common with collie mixes. She is incredibly smart which makes her quite stubborn, and she loves to bark. Honestly, she needs a home where she can roam free and be able to kind of do her own thing, which at this time in my life I’m unable to provide. Unfortunately, she needs a new home with a new family to love due to our families new baby. She hasn’t been aggressive towards the baby but she has been aggressive towards strangers in the home since my son was born, likely just being protective but I can’t trust her anymore. If you’re looking for a challenge and a really smart dog, Lahnis the right dog for you.

Story

Adopted this sweet girl from the Humane when she was still a pup, was a stray most of her puppyhood. Fee is flexible I just really want to make sure she goes to a good and loving home.She's about 4 now and truly is as sweet as can be and snuggly to boot! Great with kids and other dogs. She's pretty attached to our other dog and I hate to break them up but we just do not have the ability to meet all her needs anymore. I'd be happy to rehome both together if possible but know she does well without him after a period too. I'd say she's high need but fairly low energy, very loving and gentle. We'd be happy to provide her kennel and bedding and some toys she loves as well. I want her to be in a good home and wish I could do what she needs but with a baby in the house now we just aren't meeting her needs.

We were told it was a chocolate lab when we agreed to take her in from someone out of state. They brought her all the way to us and when she got here, we realized she was possibly a PitBull. She’s sweet as can be but she is very hyper. She does like to chew on our deck and loves sitting right at your feet. She savers her food and does not like to share. I have young babies so I can’t really let her roam about in the same room as the babies due to her hyperness but they love her. She will jump up on you and she is house trained. She likes to sit and watch you work out too. She does love to run around in a big yard.

Story

Pepper is a 4 year old Bully mix, we don't really know what she is. She has a beautiful coat, is about 70lbs. and is a giant couch potato. We rescued her from the humane society about two years ago and have enjoyed her stay with us. We have three kids, ages 3, 6, 9, that she has been around and is VERY VERY good with them. We also have an old dog and a cat that she does very well with too. She knows her name, but no other commands, loves to be outside in the backyard, on a walk or at the dog park. She is able to go to be in a kennel for several hours and even knows when to go there when we say "Pepper kennel!" We have loved her and enjoyed having her however our life situation is changing and we are recognizing that we cannot give her everything she needs. It is a hard decision but we want her to have the best life she can and would like her go to to a home that she can have all the love, attention and treats she deserves.
