Story
For Dolly, she is an active breed but loves to snuggle on the couch. She loves anyone she meets and loves to go to daycare and play. She is a very loyal dog and just wants to be with you. We rescued Dolly from a bad situation ourselves, without a rescue. She will be 2 years old as of this summer. She is AKC registered and has all of her paperwork. We rescued Dolly in November of 2024. We are looking for a home that has the time to give to Dolly for training specifically - kennel time. Her new owners would preferably be home often or have the ability to take her to daycare. She craves activities and loves to be with people. She loves kids, other dogs, and loves treats and food. She is just looking to be someone's BFF, she is so loyal and all about her people. Unfortunately we are not home enough to give her the training and time she needs, and we did not come to this decision lightly. We LOVE Dolly, she deserves more than what we are currently doing for her now.

Story
**The first step to adopting from MO Min Pin Rescue is to complete the online adoption application. A good vet reference and heartworm prevention are required. We do not arrange transport, and you will be responsible for coming to us to get your dog. Adoption Application link: https://www.mominpinrescue.org/p/adoption-application_30.html ** Meet Tinkerbell! Also known as Tinker and Tinker-ballerini! Tinker is a black and tan Min Pin, about 12 years old, and 10 lbs. She’s a sweet little lady looking for a quiet place to settle into her retirement years. She is an owner surrender due to veterinary care that they could not afford. Tinker was recently spayed and had several mammary tumors removed, also had a dental and a small growth in her mouth addressed. She came through the surgery like a champ and is all healed up and ready to go. Tinker can co-exist with other dogs but doesn’t enjoy them in her face or trying to play with her. She’s too dignified for that! Tinker would also be happy as an only pet. She enjoys snuggling in her kennel with a soft bed and blanket or on the couch with her person (also with a soft blanket). Tinker does not need a lot of exercise and will go potty outside on a good schedule. She LOVES small treats – as shown by her little prance and smile when it’s ‘treat time’. Tinker is a little shy at first and will take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, it will be a beautiful relationship. Please no small children, as they move too fast and don’t understand boundaries yet. Older children who are respectful of her space would be fine. Tinker’s ideal home would be with someone who understands seniors and appreciates their wisdom. She just wants a soft spot in a quiet home, to call her own. Her foster mom loves her and would adopt but already has multiple dogs (a couple who are young, crazy hooligans) and does not have the ideal setup for Tinker. She is being fostered in the Kansas City area. Do you think Tinker-ballerini may be for you? Please apply and let’s talk!

Story
Aldo is a loyal 4-year-old (born October 14) with a Labradoodle mom and GSP dad, taking after his GSP side. At home, he is calm, obedient, and stays alone during the day without issue. We sometimes take him to daycare at Wagmore (Lawrence, KS) and will board him there when we are out of town. He’s been around our young kids since puppyhood, but because he can be anxious around people he doesn’t know — sometimes barking or attempting to nip when nervous — he needs a home without children. Once Aldo builds trust, he is affectionate and easygoing. He does better with large dogs than small ones and would thrive with a large yard to roam. Aldo is happiest off-leash in open spaces and would be a wonderful companion for someone who is willing to put some time into understanding him and can give him time to settle.

Story
Jasper is a goofy 2.5 year old from a local rescue weighing ~70lbs. He is extremely loving and will gladly become your loyal sidekick. He lives with a small terrier and large dog but would really thrive with an active family as the only dog in the home. He loves to run and loves playing even more. He is a very quick learner and loves to please. He loves children but should be monitored as he gets excited and will jump a lot to give kisses. He attends daycare and is a stellar pupil, he has only had behavioral issues with the other dog in the home. He loves walks, chewing on PB bones, treats, snuggling, playing fetch, and playing in water. He knows basic commands and does well on a leash and in kennel. He is still learning manners like not jumping because he gets so excited to meet new people. Jasper needs a family who will give him lots of exercise and attention.

Story
This is Max! Hes a super sweet boy! Max is a 1.5 year old german shepherd mix, medium- large completely vaccinated and has been trained through “off leash dog trainers”, he is not neutered. Loves other animals and kids. Needs an active family that will take him for long walks, he loves running around off-leash and hanging his head out of the car window. Would be an ideal buddy for someone with yard space for him to run and play. I am relocating out of the country and unfortunately cannot bring him with me even though I would love to!

Story
Gracie May is the dog you’ve been waiting for. This 5.5-year-old yellow Lab is sweet, loyal, and family-raised with kids, dogs, and cat friends. She’s house-trained, doesn’t beg for food, off-leash trained, and loves walks, swimming, and curling up at your feet. Calm at home, playful outside, and always ready for a snack or cuddle, Gracie is the total package. We’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old and love her deeply, but due to a family allergy, we’re heartbroken to be looking for a new home for her. She deserves a family who will give her the time, attention, and companionship she’s used to. She’s healthy, doesn’t need a crate, and is incredibly well-behaved. If you think you might be the right fit, we’d love to hear from you.
