The name is Missy and if youre looking for a loyal&#44 lovable companion with just the right mix of sass and sweetness&#44 allow me to reintroduce myself.<br/><br/>Im gentle-hearted&#44 a little shy at first&#44 but once I warm up (a few treats help)&#44 Im all about the good vibes only. I love toys&#44 belly rubs&#44 and snack time like its my full-time job. And when I get comfortable? Oh&#44 the kisses and tail wags dont stop. I love a good play and romp with other dogs.<br/><br/>I walk like Ive got a purpose&#44 because I do&#44 right next to you. I already know sit&#44 down&#44 drop it and sometimes even shake (because I do like to work it!). And yes&#44 I LOVE to fetch tennis balls and bring them right back like a pro. Missy dont miss.<br/><br/>Id do best in a calm home&#44 ideally with no kiddos under 12&#44 just a chill vibe where I can truly shine. If youre patient and kind&#44 I promise Ill flip it and reverse it into a beautiful friendship. Great example is I was in a foster home and properly met 3 well-behaved kiddos (5&#44 7 and 10). They were instructed to allow me to make the first move to meet them. It took no time for me to go up to them and greet them. Then&#44 we had super time together with them throwing balls and me bringing them back&#44 dropping the ball so they could throw again.<br/><br/>Lets take it slow... and make some magic.<br/><br/>Love&#44<br/>Missy

Hello there&#44 Im Gilly <br/><br/>Im a 3-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a big heart and even bigger love to give. I found myself at the shelter after my persons health began to decline and he could no longer care for me. It wasnt anyones fault-but Im ready to start my next chapter with someone new.<br/><br/>I can be a little nervous when we first meet&#44 so I appreciate gentle patience and kind voices. Once I get to know you&#44 though&#44 my playful side comes out-and I could chase a tennis ball all day long! (Full disclosure: Im still working on actually catching it... turns out mouth-eye coordination is a skill).<br/><br/>Im reportedly kennel trained and potty trained&#44 and while Im a very good girl&#44 I am also big and strong. Obedience training would be a wonderful way for us to bond while I polish up my manners-not because Im naughty&#44 but because I sometimes forget just how powerful I am!<br/><br/>Id do best in a home with older kids (8+)&#44 an active lifestyle&#44 and Id really love to be your one and only- sometimes dogs make me nervous&#44 and definitely no cats please. Hi&#44 Im Paulie! A gorgeous chocolate brown boy with the most spectacular speckles on my chest! <br/><br/>I was found doing one of my favorite activities: runnin around! Ive got energy to burn and am looking for the right family to keep me entertained! I love toys and am always up for a play session. Plus&#44 I do well with other dogs my size who match my energy. <br/><br/>I have several human besties at the shelter. Dont tell anyone but I may have a fav and her name is Peggy. Peggy and Paulie!!. She takes me on car rides&#44 which I love&#44 and she says I am an excellent passenger. Peggy drives me to a park&#44 and we so enjoy getting away from the shelter plus she has taught me many commands. I know sit&#44 watch me&#44 wait&#44 leave it&#44 and come. <br/><br/>After we have been at the park&#44 working on our commands&#44 it is time for snuggles and gentle massages. It is a perfect ending to our time together.<br/><br/>One of my other besties&#44 Summer&#44 is teaching me to walk well with a Halti and I am doing outstanding. Ive got a story to tell - wanna come meet me and hear it? Im Drew&#44 a handsome&#44 loving sweet as can be boy who found himself in a difficult situation recently. A situation where I had to show a lot of courage and strength. I was attacked by another dog&#44 and a Good Samaritan got me to a vet clinic. And thats where I stayed for almost three weeks while being treated. My owner would not come to pick me up&#44 literally abandoning me&#44 so the vet clinic eventually had to surrender me to Great Plains. I am over my wounds physically&#44 but Im emotionally confused and sad that I no longer have a home. Thank goodness GP arrived to save the day for me. So now its onward and upward. Im gonna find the best family in town!<br/><br/>Im energetic and full of fun. Im loose&#44 wiggly&#44 and a bit silly&#44 too. I love walks&#44 and Im quite good on leash. Ive been nothing but friendly with all the humans Ive met along my journey. Im good with other dogs&#44 and Im learning each day a little more about socializing and picking up on other dogs play cues. Someday soon theyre gonna call me the dog whisperer. <br/><br/>This shelter the best place for me to be while I wait for you to find me here. I get great meals&#44 playtime&#44 walks&#44 and I can develop all the friendships I can with the volunteers who visit me. Oh&#44 and Im a humble boy&#44 but a lot of the ladies around here are calling me dreamy. Not exactly certain what that means&#44 but they all smile and kinda swoon when they say it&#44 so&#44 Im guessin its good.<br/><br/>Im gonna be a dog that you are proud of&#44 and I will show you all the love and devotion I can muster.
