Story
This beautiful girl's name is Zora. She'll be 5 years old in September this year and has been an amazing addition to our family of four. Unfortunately, we have to make a drastic change in where we live. Where we're moving will not allow her to come with us. It was a long difficult choice that we've considered/tried to avoid for about 2 years now. At this point, we just want to place her somewhere safe, where she'll be loved and welcomed. Please feel free to ask any questions. We're not looking for money, just a healthy environment for her. Zora is up to date on her shots and she is fixed. She's 100% house trained but loves, loves, loves being outside as much as possible lol!! Very affectionate with who she's familiar with but DOES NOT LIKE OTHER ANIMALS. Other animals are a NO GO. Since she's an Akita, she gets very territorial.

Story
Interested in rehoming our two dogs because they are young energetic dogs and we didn’t anticipate how busy our work schedules would become in the years after we got them nor did we realize that their energy levels would be too much even for our young boys. The coonhound can be quite vocal if he sees something awry, and though this has caused us issues with a grumpy neighbor in the past, it can be managed with a vibration collar. The dogs are the same age (~3 years old) and the best of friends. They have a safe and relatively happy home with us but we feel they’d get much better attention with people who can devote more time. They are sweet, lovable, and very healthy dogs.
