Story
The name is Missy and if youre looking for a loyal, lovable companion with just the right mix of sass and sweetness, allow me to reintroduce myself.

Im gentle-hearted, a little shy at first, but once I warm up (a few treats help), Im all about the good vibes only. I love toys, belly rubs, and snack time like its my full-time job. And when I get comfortable? Oh, the kisses and tail wags dont stop.

I walk like Ive got a purpose, because I do, right next to you. I already know sit, down, drop it and sometimes even shake (because I do like to work it!). And yes, I LOVE to fetch tennis balls and bring them right back like a pro. Missy dont miss.

Id do best in a calm home, ideally with no kiddos under 12, just a chill vibe where I can truly shine. If youre patient and kind, I promise Ill flip it and reverse it into a beautiful friendship. Great example is I was in a foster home and properly met 3 well-behaved kiddos (5, 7 and 10). They were instructed to allow me to make the first move to meet them. It took no time for me to go up to them and greet them. Then, we had super time together with them throwing balls and me bringing them back, dropping the ball so they could throw again.

Lets take it slow... and make some magic.

Love,
Missy

Story
Hi! Im Pokey, and if youre looking for a whole lot of sweetness wrapped up in a wiggly, energetic, one-year-old package, youve found your girl. Im basically a big ol puppy with a heart that beats for zoomies, toys, and anyone willing to play tug or toss a ball for me. Give me a backyard and a few minutes to stretch my legs, and Ill show you just how fast I can go. Its one of my greatest joys.

Im also a world-class snuggler in my own special way. If you rub my belly with your foot-yes, your foot-I will melt into a puddle of pure, blissed-out goo. Its my weakness, and Im not ashamed. I love people so much that sometimes my enthusiasm gets the better of me, and I might accidentally knock over tiny humans. I never mean to, of course; Im just excited to be alive and near my favorite people. Thats why Id do best in a home with kids over five who can handle my bouncy greetings while I keep learning my manners.

Im young, smart, and eager to please, which means a little obedience training will go a long way in helping me grow into the polite, well-mannered lady Im destined to be. I already love learning, especially when it means spending time with you, and Im ready to keep improving so I can be the best companion possible.

If youre searching for a silly, doofy, affectionate pup who will fill your days with laughter, playtime, and love, come meet me. I think once you see my goofy grin and feel my happy wiggles, youll know Im the one.

Story
My name is Juniper, and if youre looking for a gentle, graceful companion to stroll through life with, I think we might get along beautifully. Im a four-year-old mixed-breed girl with a soft spirit and a heart thats ready to settle into a home of my own. No one knows much about my life before I arrived at GP, but I can tell you this: Im healthy, Im hopeful, and Im learning that the world can be a kind place.

One of my favorite things is going for walks. I move right along at your side, happy to match your pace, happy just to be with you. People tell me I walk fabulously on leash, and I have to admit, I do enjoy hearing that. Im a little on the skinny side at the moment, but with treats, training, and love, Ill fill out and shine the way Im meant to. Im already feeling stronger and more confident every day.

Im a loving girl, but I prefer not to share my home with other dogs. Ive learned that Im happiest when I can soak up all the affection and attention without competition. A peaceful home where I can be your one and only would make me feel safe and cherished.

What I want most is a person or family who sees the sweetness in me, who enjoys quiet companionship and steady affection. Im ready to be someones loyal friend, their walking buddy, their soft-eyed shadow whos always happy to see them. If youre looking for a lovely, gentle soul to welcome into your life, Im waiting with an open heart.

Story
Hi, my name is Sophie, and everything about me and my personality fits my name. Im sweet, friendly and loving. Ive been a very good girl in the home, and Ive had four wonderful years of experience with a family. Ill tell you why Ive been surrendered in just a minute. First, all you want to know about little ole me! Ive got femme fatale good looks, and my level of intelligence matches my beauty. My previous owner said that Im completely house trained, and I also do well in a crate. I absolutely loved my fenced in back yard. I went in and out throughout the day, and I like to explore and take sunbaths whenever I can. I know sit, stay, outside and high five. I lived with cats, and while I was curious about them, we never had any issues. They lived their cat life, and I lived my dog life. I even lived with another doggie, and we got along just fine.

When I was at the shelter the first time, staff knew that I didnt like children very much. Kids just fill me with anxiety. Now that the baby in my home has turned into a toddler and is toddling around, Ive been very nervous and visibly upset. I dont like something that is as unpredictable as a child in my life. I want to be happy again, and Im counting on someone wonderful like you to find me and give me a chance at a new home. Maybe your kids are grown? Im really a wonderful girl, through and through. Cant you come and meet me? Id sure like to find love again.
