Gunner is very smart and eager to please his people. He's fully potty trained and stays quietly in a kennel during the day when his foster mom is at work. He knows how to *sit, *stay, *come, as well as newly learning *down. During the day, he loves to play with chew toys, take walks, and snuggle on the couch. He is very gentle on the leash except when encountering other dogs (he barks and is still learning to be friendly), and when he's playful, he occasionally needs cues for the right things to mouth on. Gunner enjoys being a backseat companion on car rides and an easy-going couch companion at home.

Friends, meet Dewey! He is a gentle giant that has the sweetest face you will ever see. He will be your shadow, your cuddle buddy, and your protector. He loves everyone he meets and enjoys playing outside with other dogs. His BFF in his foster home is a teenage boy and they love hanging out in the basement together! Dewey isn't very conscious of his size (can you imagine having to coordinate those giant feet?!), so he'd do best in a home without young children. Dewey is fully housebroken and knows how to use a doggy door. He is very talkative and will be sure to let you know if someone is trying to sneak into your yard! He absolutely loves to play in the pool, especially when he gets to splash around with his doggy friends. He has made doggy friends of all sizes, all the way from 12lbs up to 100lbs. Due to his age, he has a lot of energy and will require a little bit of obedience training. He will also need to learn some manners as he loves to jump up and give lots of kisses. Thankfully, he's very smart and treat-motivated, so a few treats will go a long way when it comes to training Dewey!

Beaker here to spill the tea on what I'm looking for in a family! First of all I'm an expert snuggler. I want to sit on your lap whenever possible. I like to play with toys, especially the flirt pole, but I'm basically a couch potato. You want a friend to take a quick stroll around the neighborhood with and then we can watch movies or read together? I AM THAT FRIEND! Foster mom calls me a Velcro dog. I don't know what that is but I know I want to be around my people all the time. I'm kennel trained and potty trained. If you have to leave for a while that's no problem. I'll hang out at home and wait for you to return. I have a high pitched bark which is funny to foster mom because I'm a beefy guy with lots of muscles. I would probably enjoy being the only fur family member in the home simply because your lap does not have room for another dog or cat.

Max is a big boy with a huge heart! He's best described as a super cuddly couch potato. He does great in his kennel and stays very quiet and clean. He has not been around children before, so we're unsure what he would think of them. He was very interested in the resident cats while on furlough and seemed to want to play, but he did not get the opportunity to interact with them. He can be mildly dominant around new dogs, but he quickly calms down and becomes very dorky and playful.
