Story
We have to care for an elderly relative and can't spend the time with Mickey she deserves. It’s incredibly hard for me to say that I need to find a new home for Mickey, a 9‑year‑old Terrier–Pit Bull mix who has become such a part of my life. She’s a 43‑lb sweetheart with a calm, gentle, “go with the flow” personality that makes every day feel a little softer. Mickey rarely barks, is wonderfully quiet, and thrives in a peaceful environment. She enjoys traveling in the car. She’s good with cats, relaxed around larger dogs, and truly shines in a household where she can settle in with just a few people and show her loving nature.Mickey deserves a forever home where she can feel at ease. She's well-behaved, she isn't a "chewer," knows basic commands, and is fully vaccinated and spayed. Whoever welcomes her will gain a tender, loyal companion who ask only to be a part of the pack. If you are looking for a quiet, affectionate dog, Mickey is a gift.

Looking for a Patient, Loving home for a sweet Girl Who's Had a Rough Start! This sweet girl came into my life unexpectedly after apparently being abandoned. I don't know everything about her past, but from her behavior, I believe she may not have always been treated kindly. Despite that, she desperately wants to feel safe and loved. She is affectionate once she begins to trust you and really seems to want a person of her own. She can be nervous and unsure in unfamiliar situations, and she is especially fearful around men. She will need someone who is patient, calm and willing to let her build trust at her own pace.I want to be completely transparent about her behavior because finding the right home is much more important to me than simply finding her a home. She has growled and shown some reactive behavior around my other dog. Because of this I believe she would do best as the only dog in the home. What I see underneath the fear is a dog who wants to love and be loved!

Unfortunatley I have to rehome this incredible little guy due to a family member having health issues. He is house trained and just the sweetest little guy I have ever been around. Loves to be next to his owner at all times. Great with other dogs and kids. When you meet him you will fall in love immediately. I have health insurance on him that is good until October 15 2026.

Story
Benedict is a Shar Pei mix (most likely with German Shepherd) who is a true gentle giant. He is 5 years old and has lived with small children and one other dog. His family loves him very much and desires a new family that can spend more time with him and give him more attention. He loves walks but also enjoys his time lounging around the house. Benedict can be described as sweet, calm, goofy, and playful.

Story
Kane is a wonderful dog. I found him alone and outside when he just a puppy while I was in college and he and I have been together ever since, about 10.5 years. So believe me when I say, this profile and listing him for re-homing/adoption was not a decision we came to lightly. My wife and I welcomed our first daughter 3 years ago and Kane was there to help start our family. However, last year we were surprised with twin girls. Our 3 girls have obviously taken up most of our time, attention, and love. While we’ve tried our hardest to continue to make time for Kane, it simply hasn’t been enough for him. We decided to list him for re-homing because he deserves the upmost love and attention from his owners and, unfortunately, we aren’t able to provide that for him. His temperament is great, he loves to relax and be outside, and is wonderful with kids of all ages. He’s looking for a home with lots of love, a backyard to call his own, and lots and lots of cuddles.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Heaven is a 9 year old female.  She is an owner surrender.  She is an absolute angel.  She is house and crate trained.  She knows sit, down and comes when called.  Heaven goes potty on command.  She loves belly rubs and taking walks. She gets along with other dogs and children.  She has little legs so she needs a boost or ramp to get in/out of the car.  Honestly, we have not seen anything but positives.  She is loving girl and will be a wonderful companion.  The yard must be fenced but can be a 4 ft fence.  KC area onlyVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 10, 2026, 7:36 pm
