Story
Winston is an amazing purebred Bloodhound. Great with kids, house trained, and a playful disposition, he’s just too much for our suburban family. He’s 115 lbs and has the nose of a bloodhound, would be great on a farm or with a hunter who can work with him to track.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Only adopt-out in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Fenced in yard is required. J.B. is a male, neutered, 4 plus years of age, 22lbs Sheltie. He is a happy go lucky dog whose tale wags constantly. He was an owner surrender who could no longer take care of him. J.B. loves to run around the backyard at high-speed chasing squirrels and birds off the fence. Does well in a 4-foot chain linked fence yard. He’s long legged with springs in those legs…lol. He would probably love to run alongside someone who runs or maybe even do some agility. Not certain how he does around cats, though he gets along with other dogs. He was obviously crate trained and sleeps/eats in a kennel. He will make himself right at home and claim a chair as his own. Loves toys and only barks when he gets excited playing. He is a counter surfer so, beware of leaving any food within his reach. He will hop up on your lap and just lean into you to be loved. I am still learning more about him daily as he settles into our home. He would love to meet you at Petco on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 11 to 1 or by appointment.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 15, 2025, 1:56 pm

A really good dog. Approximately 1 year old. Unfortunately because of a personal situation, I can not keep him. He gets along great with people and other dogs. he has not been around a cat, so don't know how he would respond.

Story
I adopted Bubba five years ago while living with my parents, where he had a large yard and plenty of space. During that time, I was able to spend most of my days with him, and he became a very loving, people-friendly companion. He gets excited to meet new people but has never shown aggression toward humans. Since then, my life has changed significantly. I now have a young son, a demanding career, and live in an apartment, which is very different from the environment Bubba is used to. After a lot of consideration, I believe he would do best in a home that can offer more space and time. Bubba’s ideal home would be with someone who can spend a good amount of time with him, is physically able to handle a larger dog, and has a house with a yard. He has a calm demeanor, enjoys being close to his person, and is well-behaved indoors. He has never chewed furniture or shoes. He can be selective with other dogs. He has lived successfully with a French Bulldog, but careful introductions advised.

Story
Riley Olive F1B Labradoodle (means her dad is a poodle and her mom is a F1 Labradoodle) Born: 5/9/23 Phantom coloring (means she is black and brown) Very loving, truly. Our situation means we are not giving her the home Riley deserves. She is still young which comes with a lot of energy. She needs someone who will give her time and attention to exercising her & teaching her. She wants to learn but it would take someone consistently working with her. Jumping on & pawing at people is one of the biggest challenges. With toddlers it's been too overwhelming. She is quite anxious, but has never experienced anything that would have caused it. Anxiety presents on walks - she gets spooked easily & will start to bark & pull. I stress that she is not aggressive at all but she barks loudly & it sounds aggressive (it's the breed). She warms up quickly but is skittish until she knows she's okay, but then enters in the jumping and she's a big girl weighing about 55 lbs.
