Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Java is a spirited 1 year old Sheltie with a personality as rich and energetic as his namesake! This sable bundle of joy loves to play and socialize, bringing enthusiasm to everything he does. While Java gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has shown gentle curiosity around cats, he's appointed himself the neighborhood's official Garbage Truck Alert System—transforming from sweet, cuddly pup to fierce protector with an impressive bark whenever these "suspicious" vehicles rumble down the street. Between his lightning-fast zoomies, impressive learning abilities (he's already mastered sit!), and endless enthusiasm for life, Java is looking for an active family who appreciates his herding heritage and can channel his intelligence through positive training. Could you be the perfect match for this adorable vigilante who offers equal parts entertainment, companionship, and home security services? Jave is crate trained, house trained, and pretty darn smart! Fence required, Kansas City area only.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 14, 2026, 4:06 pm

Story
We got Opie when he was 13 weeks old, he will be two in May. He is a gentle giant that has been raised around children. He is around 140 lbs of lap dog! He needs a home that can give him lots of room to run around. He loves to play with toys and cuddle. He gets along great with other dogs but has never been around cats. Although I think he would do great with them too. He would come with an extra large wire kennel that we put him in when we leave the house, his dog bed, toys, leash. Not asking for a rehoming fee because we just want him to go to a good home that will love him as much as we have.

Story
Winston Bishop (or Winnie the Bish) was adopted almost 3 years ago as a new puppy. His dad was a purebred golden, mom a pure bred poodle. He just turned 3 September 18. He is in need a of big yard with a potential (dog) sibling or two. He loves to play with a buddy and run and run, but unfortunately does not get that enough. He also has major FOMO and always wants to know whats going on at all times so he is rarely rarely in a kennel or separate room. He can be cuddly and playful. He is very energetic. Loves new people, whether adults or kids, but will still jump and try to hug you fully so we only let him around kids that we know are comfortable with dogs his size. He has a very sensitive tummy, so he cant handle most manufactured treats, but loves bits of fruit and cheese.

Story
Looking to connect with anyone with experience with dogs with past trauma, rescues, and large breeds….who might be wiing to open their hearts and home to a 9 year old Pyr named Arthur. I have had increasing challenges with anxiety and depression which led to a hospital stay for panic attacks this week. I have pretty much arrived at the decision that it is really best for Arthur for me to find a loving and quiet home for him so that I can move home with my parents. (Moving home with him is not an option, due to many circumstances). Arthur is a very sweet boy, but he would do better in a house with a fenced in backyard and not in a noisy apartment by a noisy street (which is a massive contributor to my stress)……And I cannot afford to give him anything more than an apartment Ideally, he would go to a home with people who are familiar with rescues and a dog who is going to need some time to adjust to a new home after being with me for 7+ years
