Story
Dobby is a red heeler cattle dog he just turned 6 years old this April and has the biggest heart. He is full of love and loves people and attention. He has lived with 3 other dogs in the past and loved being around them, but does also thrive on his own. He is a huge lover of the outdoors, he loves the snow, sunshine, and the dog park. He loves adventures and most importantly loves a great walk outdoors. He thrives in nature, however he is scared of storms. He will cuddle up right next to you during a storm. He knows his basic commands like sit, stay, easy, and his personal favorite get out of the kitchen. He really does abide to that rule lol. He had a very rough upbringing and was left out in the wild for quite a long time so he is medicated for anxiety, he would love to be around someone who can be there for him as much as possible because he is a lover boy. The anxiety meds are daily and they help him with things like thunderstorms it is Prozac and is $6/month.

Story
Do you want a loving dog that just aims to please? Look no further than Sonya. She listens well and knows basic commands. She is always trying to anticipate what you will do next and she really just wants to be the center of your world. Her only fault is she gets really nervous around children and sometimes men and will attempt to nip at them particularly if they are moving quickly and/or rough housing. Her favorite things include being wherever you are, sleeping on her pillow, and following you around wherever you go. She also enjoys nose games where she has to work to get treats. She does well in cars (just give her a pillow and she settles right down). She will come with any supplies your would like that I have. She may need a slow introduction to other dogs.

Story
I need to find a home for Bowie, because I live in a senior living facility and I have medical issues and I cannot take care of Bowie. Bowie is approximately 10 years old, her weight is 40lbs, and is a small to medium size dog. Wonderful dog! She is quiet, playful, loyal and loves to lay next to someone. Wonderful companion!

Story
Munch….. This girl has been our baby for the last 4 years. We adopted her when she was about 2 years olds, we don’t know exactly how old she is. She loves to snuggle and go on walks. She is very well trained. We spent about $3,000 on dog training here in Kansas City, with Dogs Unleashed. They were and are so proficient with her. We still board her with them to this day. They would definitely work with new owner. Munch has been with us when we welcoming our two children. Munch is around our 1 and 2 year old all the time. Our kids crawl all over her. Recently my husband was mowing the lawn and bit him. I think the loud noise scared her. It has caused me to want to rehome her as I don’t want to risk any bits with my kids. We love Munch . She is amazing and want her to go to a family that is equally as amazing. Munch does well when boarded with other dogs but not when she is on leash. She would not do well with another dog in the home. 45lbs

Story
Doug was adopted as a puppy when we lived in Denver, Colorado. He has an older sister named Karen who welcomed him home with us and has been his constant companion. Doug LOVES people and is good around kids. He will be a constant snuggler to the lucky adopters. He loves going on walks and hiking adventures, and really enjoys spending time outside patrolling for squirrels. Doug is 2 years old so is slowly aging out of his puppy years but still has a lot of energy which has kept our older dog very active. When it gets to dinner time though, he definitely ready to lay down and chill for the rest of the evening. Sadly, with our growing family, we have started to feel overwhelmed with keeping up with the needs of an active dog, and he deserves a home where he can get more attention from his owners. He has been a great dog for us, and we would love to find him another loving home.

Story
Reese and Coco are sweet 9 month old puppies. They are brothers. We adopted them from a veterinary office. Reese is about 26lbs and Coco is 21lbs. Unfortunately, we have never had dogs before and we have realized that it was not fair for us to get dogs given our busy schedule. Our hope is that Reese and Coco would be adopted together as they our very attached to one another. They do have a lot of energy so we want them to go to a loving home that can give them the attention they deserve. It breaks our heart to give them up, but we know it’s in the best interest of everyone. You can have anything we bought for them. Kennels, toys, beds, etc.
