Story
Piper will be 8 this year. She is the biggest sweetheart and adores people. She could be anyone’s friend. Unfortunately, she has nipped at our small child twice and we think it’s best to rehome her into a home without children no children. She is not mean and never has been, however she behaves uneasy and nervous around children. That being said, she has been with her sister (from another mister) for her entire life. I would like to rehome them together. They have lived most of their lives in the country, so a place with space would be ideal for them. They are lovely dogs and attached at the hip. They would be a great addition to any family that has the time and space for them.

Story
Kona will be 10 this year. She is a great dog, very friendly and knows basic commands. She is a sweet girl who will be a good companion to anyone. She is still very spry for her age and loves to run in the country. We have moved into a new home with a small yard and have small children. Her sister (from another mister) has shown some mild aggression to our small child and I would like for them to both be adopted together, into a home without children, as they have spent their entire lives together. They are great dogs, and we will miss them dearly. But sadly, I do believe there is a family out there that can give them a better life than we are able to provide for them.

Story
Meet Bambi – The Sweetest Little Soul You'll Ever Meet Age: 14 years | Breed: Chihuahua | Weight: 6.5 lbs Adoption Fee: $225 | Spayed: Yes At just 6.5 pounds, Bambi may be tiny—but her heart is full of love, and she’s ready to share it with someone special. This 14-year-old sweetheart is the definition of calm and gentle. Most of her day is spent napping peacefully in a soft bed or soaking up the sunshine near a window. She rarely makes a sound—just an occasional, fox-like yip to let you know she needs a potty break (and we promise, it's adorable!). Bambi has a heart murmur and is mostly deaf with limited night vision, but none of that stops her from being a warm, loving presence. She’s looking for a serene, low-energy home where she can enjoy her golden years at her own pace. Whether you’re retired, work from home, or simply want a quiet companion to share your days with, Bambi could be the perfect fit. She does well with older, respectful children and would be fine with other calm, senior dogs or cats who give her space. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and not currently on any medications. Bambi dreams of a home filled with cozy blankets, sunny spots, and a gentle hand to pet her each day. If you’re ready to open your heart to a very special senior girl, Bambi is ready to fill it with quiet joy and unconditional love. Apply today and give Bambi the loving retirement she deserves. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). Story
Sweet Reba! Reba is a bit shy but her personality really blooms with another dog. She listens well and loves treats and belly rubs. Reba has a sweet personality, both kennel and potty trained. She enjoys the love and affection of her humans. She is truly a gentle and loving girl. We do recommend she go to a home with another dog that will give her confidence. Reba is quite small for a Shepherd Mix. She is only 35lbs so great for an apartment or someone looking for a smaller dog. Age: 5 years Breed: Shepherd/Mix Weight: 37 lbs Kid-friendly: She does great with the foster's older children but may be a little timid towards younger children. We recommend children that have respectful boundaries with dogs. Dogs: Yes, we would prefer she go to a home with another dog. Story
Meet Squidward – Your Loyal Little Sidekick! Age: 9 years | Breed: Yorkie Mix | Weight: 12 lbs Adoption Fee: $375 | Neutered: Yes Don’t let his grumpy name fool you—Squidward is a sweet and spunky little guy with a heart full of love and a personality that shines! This 9-year-old Yorkie mix has been through a lot, but he’s come out the other side as a loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to bond closely with his special person. He thrives in a calm, quiet environment and would do best with a retired individual or couple who are home most of the day. Squidward loves leisurely walks, cuddle time, and just being your shadow throughout the day. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and does well with other respectful dogs in the home. While he’s got a brave and bold spirit, Squidward can be a little protective of his food and toys, so he’ll need a home with older, considerate kids (if any), and no cats. He’s also allergic to chicken, but he’s doing great on a chicken-free diet and just takes Benadryl as needed. If you're looking for a devoted companion with a big personality in a little package, Squidward might just be the perfect match. He’s ready to fill your home with snuggles, charm, and unconditional love. Apply today to meet Squidward—your fearless, fuzzy best friend in the making! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). Story
Meet Dai Mar – The Gentle Gentleman with a Playful Spark! Age: 12 years (13 in August) | Breed: Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix Weight: 40 lbs | Adoption Fee: $375 | Neutered: Yes Don’t let his age fool you—Dai Mar may be a senior in years, but he still has the heart (and play drive!) of a much younger pup. This sweet, easygoing guy loves squeaky toys, a good game of tug-of-war, and—most of all—being near his people. He’s the kind of companion who’ll be by your side through thick and thin, offering loyalty, love, and the occasional goofy grin. Dai Mar is friendly with everyone he meets, including other dogs, cats, and respectful kiddos. He’s fully potty trained with a regular routine and hasn’t needed to be crated, preferring to spend his time near the people he loves. While he's mostly agile, he occasionally needs a little help going up and down steps—but he’s still active and enjoys moving around. He is a vocal guy when it comes to unexpected noises, so a quiet, calm home would suit him best. If you’re looking for a gentle, devoted friend with a golden heart and a playful streak, Dai Mar might be the perfect match for you. He’s ready to bring joy, love, and companionship into a home that will treasure him as much as he’ll treasure you. Ready to meet Dai Mar? Apply today and give this sweet senior the cozy, love-filled home he deserves.
