Story
Alfie was found in the dumpster at a Dollar General in Alabama and has been with me since July. I am getting divorced and moving to a new place and he needs a yard where he can sniff and run around. My new place has no yard or fence and crate life is not what he deserves. He is about 85% of the way to good boy status (just needs a little more practice), vaccinated, chipped, neutered, and all vet records can be provided. House trained, crate trained, goofy, and lovable. Everyone is a friend and his recall is pretty solid but still in process. His favorite thing is an active kid and space to run. He plays hard but rests hard, too. Convinced he’s a lap dog, will chew shoes (though not so much anymore). Obsessed with peanut butter, snores like a freight train, plays well with others as long as they aren’t cats. To be fair, he likes them and does not understand that "if not friend, why friend shaped", but they don’t love him because he’s too bouncy.

Story
Boba first arrived at our house a couple years ago. We were able to find him some short term fosters and one longer term home, but after that owner changed their lifestyle and moved across the country, Boba came back to us. We are guessing Boba is 5-6 years old. He is good with school aged children and other dogs. We have not seen him around toddlers and babies. We also don’t know about cats, but don’t want to test that, given he is an active breed. Boba can sleep in a crate. In his longer term home he would sleep in a crate at night and stay in the home while the owners were home. When they went to work he was in a fenced in back yard. We took Boba to the vet and got his rabies shot as well as Distemper Vaccine and heartworm test. We also got him neutered. He is now on Simparica Trio for heartworms and has a topical flea treatment. I can provide more pictures or videos on request.

Story
Sable is 6 years old and not spayed. She is dog aggressive and will thrive best if she is the only pet in a home. She gets along great with people and kids and loves to play fetch and cuddle up on the couch. Looking for a new home and someone that can give her the attention she deserves.

Story
Hi, my name is Claire and I am a senior Border Collie. I used to live on a farm with other dogs and animals but my owner passed away. I am now in foster care with S.A.F.E. Animal Haven. I met my BFF here at my foster home and would really like a forever home for the 2 of us! My BFF is Pointer and he is on this website too! I am housebroken, leash trained and generally a good girl. I like to do my own thing and I enjoy playing with Pointer. If you have room for 2, please consider giving Pointer and myself a forever home. You can find an application at safeanimalhaven.org. Pointer is the little one in the picture with me - he has spots.November 5, 2024, 12:12 am

Story
This sweet boy needs a loving home. With a family who can give him time. Unfortunately we are working long hours and it breaks my heart to leave him alone all the time. He is very loving and loves to cuddle. He is still young (1.5 years) so he likes to play. He is very smart but also a funny and goofy. And he is also very easy to handle. He will listen and do what you say.

Story
This is Cooper, he is a very sweet and loving dog. He is a rescue that we adopted 7 years ago. He had some quirks as any rescue does. He doesn’t like to be in a crate or closed room, really doesn’t like water, and will go bonkers during a thunderstorm. While he has been a great dog, we have also seen another side of him that makes us nervous. Enough to be looking at rehoming him. He has attacked our other dog on multiple occasions, usually over food or toys. This has been kept at bay by being very cautious. However with our two year old son being more excited to play with cooper. We don’t feel that our son is safe around cooper, since we can’t predict what might annoy him enough to bite. Cooper needs a home with no other pets and no children. Please reach out with questions. This was a really hard decision but we feel that is best for the safety of our son.
