Story
Toodalou, aka Toods or Toodie is a 5-month-old intact female American Bulldog mix searching for her forever home! She’s up to date on vaccines, has been dewormed, and is ready to start her next adventure with her very own family.
Toodie is incredibly friendly and loves everyone she meets. She’s a total cuddle bug who believes personal space is overrated — if you’re sitting down, she’s touching you! Whether it’s leaning against you or snuggling up close, she just wants to be near her person. She also loves sleeping on a heating pad like a cat! She does well with cats and most dogs, though she can feel a bit stressed around very high-energy pups. A home with calmer dog friends (or as your one and only!) would likely suit her best.
This girl is smart — and she knows it! She already has her basic commands down (sit, lay, paw, etc.) and is working hard on “wait”… although food is just too exciting! She’s nearly fully house-trained, has little to no accidents, and will even ask to go outside. Toods is the perfect mix of brains, sweetness, and playful puppy energy. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who will love you endlessly and keep you laughing, Toodie might be your girl.

Story
✨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Hear Ye, Hear Ye! A Litter Has Arrived From the Highlands! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✨ Lads and lassies, gather ‘round, for we bring ye tales of six brave wee souls seekin’ their furever clans! Straight from the (kennel) Highlands come Ian, Brianna, Claire, Frank, Roger, and Jamie — six bonnie 2-month-old pups ready to steal hearts faster than ye can say “Sassenach!” These wee warriors are everything ye’d expect from young bairns of their age — playful as otters in the burn, curious as ever, and full o’ mischief that’ll keep ye on yer toes. They tumble, they wrestle, they explore as though chartin’ new lands, and when the day is done, they’ll curl close as though ye’re their very own time-traveling true love. 💛 Each pup has their own spark o’ spirit: ⚔️ Bold explorers 🌿 Sweet snugglers 🎾 Tiny adventurers with energy to spare They’ll need patient clans ready for puppy lessons, housetraining quests, and the occasional chewed treasure (ye’ve been warned!). But in return? Loyalty worthy of the Fraser name and love that would cross centuries. If ye’ve been waitin’ for fate to intervene, consider this yer sign from the stones. Come meet Ian, Brianna, Claire, Frank, Roger, and Jamie — and perhaps ye’ll find the one destined to be by yer side through all of life’s grand adventures. Dinna wait too long… true love — and puppies — won’t linger forever.

Story
Meet Pickles! Pickles comes to us from Iredell County Animal Services through our Shelter Swap program for long time shelter residents to get a fresh start! Pickles had been at ICAS since December 13th after being found on a busy roadway. During Pickles' time at ICAS, he developed quite the friendship with fellow swap-mate, PJ! While the pair are not bonded, they certainly do enjoy spending time together. Pickles is a young, playful, energetic boy who is eager to please and already has some tricks to show you! He craves as much affection as he does play time, so he'd like an active home ready to take him on lots of adventures. While Pickles and PJ can certainly move on to individual homes, we encourage any interest in adopting them as a pair!
