Needs experienced adopter,
Story
Bronson is a 2 year old Aussie Shepherd and German Shepherd mix born on Valentine's Day. He was adopted by my son as a puppy and was very active with him; traveling with him to landscaping jobs and going for long bike rides and hikes. Unfortunately, my son died in a car accident in January 2023 and now Bronson needs a new home. He loves being outdoors and needs room to run (farm or lots of land). He is the perfect companion for an active person as he enjoys hikes, bike rides and long walks. He is a sweet, loving dog, however, he has issues trusting people, and can be aggressive (growls/snaps) when around strangers. Bronson does well with other dogs but is NOT good with children or cats. He is completely housebroken and scheduled to be neutered in June. He is a great dog that needs an experienced owner, who is patiently willing to work with him as his behavior is fear-based. Once he learns to trust you, he is a very devoted and protective pet.

Story
Johnny is a shy little boy with a lot of cuddles to give! He is 4 years old, housebroken, and as you can see from his pics, he gets along with everyone, including cats and dogs! Johnny’s confidence comes out when there’s another dog to play with, so a home with a canine companion would be best for him. He also needs a fenced in yard, because he loves a good run and play with his doggy friends. Don't miss out on this sweet boy! Submit your application today at www.southcharlottedogrescue.com!

Story
Introducing Jolene! This pretty little girl will need an experienced, small breed adopter who is familiar with the temperament of protective little pups & is local to the Charlotte area. She will BITE YOU! Jolene loves her people big but she's not so fond of strangers in her home. She would love to be an only dog where she can be the center of attention & treated like the princess she believes she is! Only experienced small breed adopters will be considered for this high maintenance gal! A fenced yard would be helpful for this energetic little bundle but an active family who walks frequently would also be great! Applications can be submitted on our website at www.southcharlottedogrescue.com!

Story
Introducing Martha! This amazing girl was the best mama to the People of History litter, and now she deserves to find the perfect family to call her own. A protector at heart, she loves her people with all of her being. She would do best as the only dog in the home, so she can truly be the center of attention. As a protective girl, she’ll want to be with you at all times (she follows her current foster mama all around the house) and keep you from harm. Her snuggles are truly high class, but she also enjoys a good walk. Other favorite activities include staring out of the window and going for car rides. She is perfect for adults or families with older, responsible children. Martha is an absolute love, and anyone would be lucky to call her theirs. And her underbite will smile its way into your heart. Applications can be submitted on our website at www.southcharlottedogrescue.com!
