Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Deacon, he is a mixed breed dog with a great personality… uh, dog-anality. Deacon is a neutered male coming in at about 45 lbs of pure love. He's just a chill guy with a splash of zoomies! Deacon's resume is spectacular. He has the work experience, the passion, and the love. I mean, how can you turn down a boy this good? - House trained - Crate trained - Leash trained  - Has worked with multiple trainers - A true lover boy: The perfect partner and good with kids - A squeaky toy enthusiast: Deacon takes pride in his squeaky toys. No squeak too big, no squeak to small. Squeaky toys, he loves them all! The training he received comes with lifetime training touch-ups (adoption location dependent). Once he has settled in, the trainer will provide you with training sessions to help acclimate him to his new home. They also provide group training sessions most Saturdays at local parks. Pretty sweet deal, right?! Deacon was bounced around a bit so he’s learned to love and trust again. Due to that, he can be slow to warm up, but once you are his person, he desires nothing more than to be by your side as your furry companion. Deacon is just a boy navigating this real world, overcoming everyday challenges. - Deacon will thrive in an only dog household - Loves cats: He enjoys a little Tom & Jerry like playtime - A fenced yard will allow Deacon to truly unleash his Olympic gold medal jumps - Needs someone who is patient, allowing him slow introductions with new people, places, and things If you think Deacon would make a good addition to your family, fill out an application at lastdaydogs.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:36 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bowser is just a cute little guy! He is smaller than he looks; 40 pounds, but it's mostly muscle! He's like a compact car--he'll fit anywhere and he gets great gas mileage! He is a 1 year old, neutered, bully/boxer mix. He loves to self-entertain with a chew (benebone, squeaky toy, bully stick, he likes it all). He is great in a crate, on a leash, and in the car with a seat belt, plus he's perfectly potty trained. He's a big lover boy and will happily spend his time cuddling in your lap. We are working on his socialization, and hope to introduce him to other dogs in the future, but we imagine he will always need slow introductions.   If you are interested in Bowser, please complete an adoption application at lastdaydogs.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 16, 2026, 11:50 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Shirley!!! After a life of producing puppies and thrown out like trash and Shirley and her mother found themselves in the pound scheduled for euthanasia. The morning of their doomed appointment we fought to have them pulled.  Shirley never let the neglect and open sores stop her from loving people. Shirley is incredibly kind and gentle. Fostering on farm she has had ample exposure to so many different creatures big and small. (Horses cows ducks chickens cats) She hangs out with the flock and loves to follow along when people ride in the arena. Even little wild man cubs she treats like another pup in her pack with patience and a gentleness that can hold an egg. Shirley walks on the leash but still requires support in public as she gets scared. She is very attached to home. She is not the type to ever run away from home she is so family oriented. Shirley loves short play times/ walks and lots of cuddles. She has no rude behaviors. In the home she is calm and quiet. Shirley is also  a comedian.  When she expresses herself she’s very theatrical. A complete goof ball! Shirley LOVES the water. A kiddy pool suits her fine. Shirley is SPAYED!!!. If not for the snores I’d have no clue shes in my home she is so good. She has been an absolute pleasure to foster.  It is also important to note why her mother and her are to be separated.. Shirley wants her own person or family to bond with. On a farm love is spread all over and Shirley is the center of attention kinda girl. Her mom is older less active and happy to hang around. Shirley girl is a walking adventure. I know in the last few months she has blossomed, her personality absolutely radiant and there is a lot more to come. Are you and your family her person? Remember friends.. You don’t go throw a whole life away because it’s banged up a little. Foster/adopt save a life. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Meet Letterman Larry  Hi, I’m Larry—a 73 lb puppy with a big heart and so much love to give. I didn’t have the easiest start and found myself in a loud, scary shelter at a young age. I am in foster care now but I’m ready to find a forever family of my own. I’m still just a baby learning how to be my best self! I’m smart, eager, and already know sit, shake, and wait. I’m very treat-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding—I’m even working on my leash manners and improving every day. I also ride nicely in the car and do well in a crate, settling in nicely when given a safe space. I’d thrive in an active home or one with a yard where I can play, learn, and grow. Once I trust you, I am incredibly loyal and loving—I just need a little patience to feel safe and show you my full personality. A few things about me: Best suited in a home with no dogs or calm, submissive dogs and slow introductions Not sure how I feel about cats yet Looking for a home without young kids (they make me nervous) Smart, trainable, and eager to please Currently learning leash skills Great car rider Loves toys and can entertain myself Comfortable in a crate and potty trained The important stuff: Neutered male - Up to date on vaccines - No known health issues - Available through ‘Tails of the Unwanted’ rescue. I may have had a rough start, but I’m ready for my happy ending. With a little patience and a lot of love, I promise to be the most loyal companion you could ask for. Will you be the one to give me my forever home? ❤️   If you are interested in Larry, please complete an adoption application at lastdaydogs.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 16, 2026, 11:50 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Meet “Madi,” a beautiful dog who is looking for a family to call her own! After suffering a terrible injury last year, Madi bravely underwent a leg amputation. She has adapted beautifully as a tripod and doesn’t let it slow her down!  She enjoys going for walks and loves going for rides in the car. She likes toys and will happily entertain herself with them before curling up on a comfy bed or a cozy lap for a nap. While she has so much love to give, she will need a patient and understanding family who can help her continue building confidence. New environments and unfamiliar situations can make her nervous, and she is sometimes reactive when seeing people through a barrier like a window or gate. She would be happiest in a calm home without young children. Because she is uneasy around other animals, she would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can feel safe and secure without added stress. Madi is not a fan of cats and should be in a cat-free home. If you are interested in Madi, please complete an adoption application at lastdaydogs.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 16, 2026, 11:50 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dino is the definition of a gentle, mellow cuddle buddy. He’s happiest curled up next to his people, soaking in affection (honestly, he’ll pick pets and snuggles over toys or treats every single time). He’s calm in the house, does great in his crate, rarely barks, and loves lounging in sunny spots in your home. He’ll happily play with any toy you offer, but being close to his humans is his favorite thing in the world.   He’s incredibly polite, well-mannered, and just wants to love and be loved. Dino is dog selective and can be reactive around other dogs, so he’ll do best as the only pet in the home with someone committed to continuing his training to set him up for success. Due to this, we think he would do best with a fenced yard.  In the right environment, he absolutely thrives.    if you are interested in Dino, please complete an adoption application at lastdaydogs.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:36 pm
