Story
Ernest is a fun loving dog! Loves to run and play and be loved on. He does need some training, the only thing he knows right now, is sit. He definitely has a mind of his own and is just a big goof ball! He does great with bigger kids but he does not have any manners yet so he may want jump on the youngsters. After a little bit of training, he’ll be the best boy! Does best with small dogs rather than big dogs. Never been around cats

Story
Jethro is almost 3 years old. He came from a family lifestyle to a farm lifestyle. He is not adjusting the the farm life. The constant space invasion from the goats causes Jethro anxiety. He doesn't like to share his food. He needs his space to eat, he doesn't eat it all in one sitting.. he likes to graze. He knows some commands and loves walk and car rides. He needs someone with a yard so he can play and be inside with his person(s). He loves the rope balls. He loves attention. We are working on the anxiety but feel it is best to have him in a family or couple environment. He is in his own play area but he desires more interaction. He just wants his person(s) to be near.

Story
Marley ❤ Available for Adoption (Look at that right ear sticking up!) Marley will be 7 years old in May and weighs 49 lbs. We originally adopted her out as a pup in 2015. We are re-homing her for protecting herself. The owner's 4 year old, described as a little high strung, was aggravating Marley (as she did all the time) and Marley finally got tired of it and bit her. The adopter repeatedly told us over and over that this was not Marley's fault. Her other kids are so upset mom is re-homing her. But the owner wants to ensure both Marley and her youngest child are kept safe. And she can't predict her child wouldn't do it again. We also want to ensure Marley's safety. She needs a home with older kids (if there are kids). Her owner describes her as a sweet, loving, and VERY submissive dog who was sadly pushed to her limit. She is an inside dog who has been around and does well with other dogs and cats. She does shed and is very vocal. Lol. She would be a great addition to basically any family. An individual, a couple, or a family with kids. She's been in the same home for 7 years so we want this transition to go as smoothly as possible. Meet Fred Available for Adoption Friends of Stanly County Animals Rescue Kannapolis, NC Fred is a handsome 4 yr old Boxer mix who weighs 58 lbs. Within the past few weeks, he has moved in with one of our inside fosters. He's doing really well. He loves to please and is doing great on his potty training. He is a very sweet dog. Even though he had always been an outside dog, he has learned how to be inside very quickly. He is very smart and has lots of energy...lots of puppy in him. A fenced yard would be great for him. He has learned to walk great on a leash. He would be a great dog for a runner! He is also a social butterfly! Never met a stranger. He loves everyone! He needs to be the only pet. No cats or other dogs. If you're interested in meeting him, please let us know. The link is below. Thanks!

Story
My name is Jo Jo. I'm hoping someone reading this will help me. You see, I'm in boarding and I've been here for a while. It's the only way my rescue could save me. It's costing them funds they don't have plus I'd really love to have a family in a place I call home. Will you do your best to help my wish come true? All about me! I'm 2 yrs old, weigh 62lbs. I am neutered, current on all my vaccinations, and crate/house trained. I love ALL dogs and kids. I'm unsure about cats. Oh, I also love cuddling! If you would like to foster or adopt me, please see the application links below. Story
Description of the Pet Oracle (Cora) 911!! Available for Foster/Adoption ***911!! Currently in boarding - Foster NEEDED** Oracle is an energetic, sweet, young lady who needs a foster! She's a beautiful girl with a short, very soft reddish coat and an adorably squishy face. She's also heartworm-negative, 2 years-old, and 60 lbs. She's a little scared of riding in a car as she hasn't had much experience. But she's getting better. She's good with other dogs but get anxious when there's a bunch of dogs around. She needs submissive companions. She doesn't like cats and hasn't really been around any kids. But we think she would do find with older kids. She may knock younger ones down not meaning to. She loves treats and cuddles and is a real people person. She's learning more about walking on a leash and not pulling. She enjoys nice long walks and dipping my paws in the lake! She would be the perfect fit for any active person or family! She's ready for a place to call home. If you're interested in adopting or fostering Oracle, please let us know! Personality traits Friendly, Affectionate, Playful, Smart, Athletic, Loves kisses, Curious
